The rooms are the sahnestück of the hotel, because they were all very new and modern designed. Also you can the ladies the zimmerputzes praise, it was always clean and wiped, if you in the afternoon to the room came. In the evening there is an extensive salad buffet ( iceberg, gherkins, tomatoes, onions tsatsiki, tuna, olives, feta, squid, oil, balsamicoessig, dressing...) and 5 warmhaltepfannen very delicious and varied food. Pasta, potatoes, vegetables and meat in various variations- during the 2 weeks only 5 times the same eaten. Al we on the sunday evening arrived, there was shortly before getting out of the transfer bus a deluge, not end wanted. The bus driver called several times in the hotel on, but nobody from the reception had the need, the new arriving guests to take care of it. After 30 minutes then came the boss with 2 umbrellas. At the front desk sat alternately 3 people, with including the boss, not too much the well-being of the guests from was. On the one hand, it wanted no German understand and a printing the boarding passes was also not possible. The other two were super nice and always gladly our questions. The waiter in the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. Also the cleaning staff.

Whose who want to, can walk beach - hotel quite quickly and sport watch, apart from that is in the hotel a leisure room with Kicker, pool pool and table tennis to find. Books there are plenty of opposite the front desk. On entertainment deliberately skipped, because the hotel very quiet and you here get a good rest can. The pool we didn't use, but it seems ok with a swimmer-, nonswimmer pools and enough chairs around. It is also interesting, if you in the afternoon from the beach returns home, directly at the pool past and, of course, stared as a colorful dog.

The hotel lies somewhat higher located on the hillside, so you can get a beautiful view over the town, the harbor and up to the sea has. On foot it is approximately 10 to 15 minutes to the beach and the city center. The transfer bus takes about one and a half hours hours from the airport and with a hired car one is in scarcely over an hour at the hotel, as it is on the highway good at a standstill. Very large room and large bathroom with shower and toilet. Everything modern furnished. Plenty of storage space in the room available. Big balcony with chairs and table. Air conditioning costs extra. Per week circa 20 Euro. The temperature is preset and can't even be selected. But had a good temperature and not too warm or too cold. Save in the room costs also extra. Per week circa 10 Euro.

Breakfast and dinner are in the hotel restaurant possible. Otherwise there are a pool bar with snacks. Breakfast leaves unfortunately much to be desired. Only simple sausage and sliced cheese, stale bread, no fruit, packaged jam and honey. The coffee was however delicious. Restaurant in the evening we didn't try it out, the pool bar also not. Wanted one outside on the terrace breakfast was asked his dishes itself in the restaurant zurücktragen.

The hotel is on a hill from Rethymnon with a wonderful view over the entire city and view of the see. On foot it was about 15 minutes to in the historic part. Bus connection does not exist to the hotel, taxi is however with 5 Euro affordable. The hotel is located in a quiet area, no other hotels, residences or main streets in the area, so no noise.

Room is very clean for one week sufficient, with fletsceen and sufficient German programs for news or the favorite series to see. Our balcony had view of the sea, very nice. The bathroom was separated by a glass wall. Air conditioning per day 4 Euro. Safe for one week in the room 15 Euro.

We had the half board and there lies the only point of criticism at the hotel. There was every morning and every evening the same. To the 3. morning it was not at all noticed but on fourth day I I thought' already again the same '. The same Baguette, cheese, sausage spreads, no variation, eggs not every morning. Evenings the same salad, almost the same meat only 1 time fish, always rice and noodles. 1 sometimes there was grape leaves in one week, they were also fast one. Everything tasted good, but who eats gladly already everyday the same?

The staff in the hotel, particularly the waitresses in the breakfast area and the evening on the terrace very nice and accommodating. A could even German apart from that English. At the front desk could also all German. But they were not very communicative. Good day and good night there was always from us. The chambermaids the rooms very clean made. Without the us anything noticed.

There was table tennis, pool and a pool the very tidy and clean was. We 1 day. Extensively visited. The pool bar was around noon manned, where you plenty of treats as sandwiches, salads, barbeque skewer and hamburgers got.

The hotel forest park is located on a mountain above Rethymnon. It has 45 rooms different sizes and equipments. It was 2010 renovated and looks very well kept.

It is perched above Rethymnon on a mountain. Very calm but on foot only 10 minutes downhill it zürig direction beach, uphill especially after a day on the beach very difficult, even for us young people. I had totally underestimated. By taxi of the historic part of town 5 Euro. We did it once. Very recommendable. The area you should not look at. Up to the historic part, this place is not recommendable. Very lots of shops are closed (crisis). But also the cleanliness the streets leaves a lot to be desired. Path as far as the which are, very broken with many holes. Respect for leg- brech risk. Very much garbage everywhere just on the roadside geschmissen, tons of herumstreunernde cats. As the sea on 2. Day of vacation agitated, we were in the truest sense of the word in a bunch of trash. The room has enough by the size and was very clean and modern. Also mattresses and bed sheets really clean. Nothing to moan. Air conditioning must be booked additionally (4€ per day). We did not, because the hotel on the hill at night you could great the window on and there was always a light breeze. Safe is also present (naturally against an extra charge).

The dining room was very clean, tidy and air-conditioned. For dinner were tables set. In the morning and evenings there were buffet. For dinner had to drinks be paid, but it was very cheap. The breakfast was very well arranged and in our opinion the largest point of criticism on the whole food. No fruits and in two weeks we only twice yoghurt seen, only bread, two types of sausage, a sort of cheese, apricots -jams... From time to time times scrambled egg... I afterwards nutella from the supermarket concerned (as some other also). The dinner alternating dishes and delicious salads. Only dessert was not so much. Almost every day melons, which I personally great found, but my husband would like to have a pudding, yoghurt or similar. But all in all it was reasonable, you should only not expect too much. And if it not at all goes... In the town there are endless taverns, romantic with günstugen dishes. Is worthwhile!

Very friendly staff, the too many also spoke German. The room was cleaned properly every day, only sundays merely the emptied the trash, what completely reasonable was. We had no complaints!

The pool is very clean and the pool area is great in shot. Enough sunbeds are available.

Very good location with a view of the harbor and the historic part ( fortress). 10 minutes to the beach downhill, uphill 20 minutes on foot, better by taxi (5 €). Shops in the town abundant!

The size was adequate, some rooms are bigger some minimal small. But a lot of time in the room one spends anyway not really, but you're too gladly downstairs to to enjoy the views or, if you view of the sea have then perhaps your balcony. Furniture was very new and modern. There is a tv with the main German channels, also ProSieben or RTL for example. Mini bar there was no, safe for 12 days for 20 €request, telephone is also available.

There's a restaurant, where you breakfast, as eating dinner. In this restaurant there is also a bar. The 2. snack bar you will find by the pool, there one can in the afternoon eating and drinking. In the morning there was a breakfast really very simple, a few marmelade, Baguette, from time to time scrambled egg, hard boiled eggs, small cakes, black tea, coffee, juices, sausage, cheese and that was it already. For nutellaliebhaber is this: bring along or downstairs ;-) it is in the supermarkets at the beach. Dinner there are as a buffet. Different courts, as well as appetizers many salads. For vegetarians there was mostly also always something for everyone and not then it just only potatoes and salad for the vegetarians among us. However at the beach you can get a delicious pita with fries and salad in it, without meat;-). And for the meat there are always every day somehow something with meat, either separately or ha ck in pasta etc. Altogether it always tasted, sometimes very good, sometimes simply good or reasonable. Kitchen style I would say is partially typical of the country and partly also German angehaucht. Drinks evenings one must buy in addition: small Cola 1.80 large Cola thus 500 millilitres or even sometimes a bit more? I don't know more exactly 3,80 Euro. Price are really very human, also at the snack bar was always something for a small wallet for everyone. You can get at the pool/ snack bar fries order, different burgers, sandwiches, salads, ice etc. , the nachmittagshunger to pass. However the food on Kreta is generally very, delicious, also down in the restaurants. Definitely times the food at the port try and in the small alleys in the old town:-).

There is nothing to moan about they are all very friendly, nice and helpful been. Furthermore is speak German, as English. Cleaning of the rooms was really great! Put too much value at home for cleanliness and was very calmed down, that it was exactly clean, like at home. Right comfort feeling!

sports and entertainment is not large available, but that was exactly the, what we were looking for. Away from betonklotzhotels and annoying animation, the one with a cock-a-doodle-doo wake up leaves. Luckily you simply your peace. The pool was too many clean, from time to time little sand on the floor, is however normal. There was enough chairs, these were clean and not old or anything like that. To the loungers were enough umbrella anchored, so that one also the midday sun escape could. By the pool there are furthermore yet a shower. Access to the internet there is also, believe 1 euros for 30 minutes. TV there is also at the bar, so that one if necessary also football games could see. Apart from that there was table tennis in the hotel. Discos finds it directly in Rethymnon in the old town, if you a little abdancen want. And the many shops there in the town, you will often be tempted ;-). The beach was clean, for a day on the beach well worth it the loungers there. Furthermore it is a sandy beach! Yahoo!

The forest park hotel features 45 room. The inhabited rooms were big enough and in a really great renovated state! The whole hotel is really stylish simple and modern furnished, so that each somewhat be comfortable can. Furthermore deserved the cleanliness of the rooms really 5 stars. There was not a day also only something about the cleaning to complain about :-)! The complex is not huge, but who needs a huge complex, if pleasures, shopping, much good food, bars and the beach approximately 10 minutes away are. As locked performance we have booked half board. The guests were too many German, a few English.

To the beach one arrives in 10 minutes, as well as in the historic part for strolling and to the various bars and restaurants. The way requires from time to time a bit condition throughout, therefore it was an advantage, if you no problems with the go. But the 10 minutes are it really worth! Don't be put off by this. There is extra a on foot of the pool to the beach. In our opinion it is the location forth the most beautiful hotel in Rethymnon. We have a hotel searched, where we during the day peace find and opportunity nevertheless in a major city, in which you lots of offers finds. And that is exactly what you will find in the forest park hotel. The hotel lies further up, the view evenings and in the morning, if you on the balcony is fantastic! Below it would personally for us very has become, because of the noise and the people. Therefore on the whole in spite of the somewhat strenuous ascent to the hotel a great location. Oh, if you don't want to have on foot to go, take a taxi. Costs about 5 €. Excursions offered in the place and the organizers offered, but also the town itself is a wonderful experience, beautiful altstadtflair.

The friendliness of the staff, wether at the front desk, in the restaurant or at the housekeepers just great. The rooms are every day cleaning services, except for sundays (sunday only trash emptying) but completely okay is. Complaints we had no.

The hotel's own swimming pool very nicely laid out enough loungers available. At the beach also very clean but the chairs and sunscreens for a fee of 9 Euro for 2 loungers and sun screen.

Very small and beautiful hotel. The size of the rooms completely sufficiently with tv and telephone unfortunately no fridge but very clean and modern. The food breakfast, as well as dinner as a buffet. Whereby the breakfast very bad was everyday the same. The dinner in comparison to the last year when we were there very, very, very has improved no comparison.

Because the hotel on a mountain there was of course a wonderful view on the whole town only problem is if you come from the beach you have a hill the was very strenuous or with the taxi 5 Euro.
