I have one night the travelodge hotel and must say for the value for money nothing can say. However we were at arrival sent away, since check in first at 14 o'clock was, only we did not want to with the suitcases three hours by London err, storages they offer a not. So we have 10 pound paid, to at least at 12 o'clock check-in. A little annoying but ok! The rooms are very small held and the beds remember more ' bumskuhlen', but were then but better than expected very comfortable. However is only a ceiling available and if ... you the night with a notorious deckenklauer spend, then you should better the plümo at the bottom brackets. Our room was to the rear and therefore very quiet. Bathroom is more of a wet room, was also definitely not accurate cleaned, but nachreinígung after speech dealt with immediately. For a city break the hotel is more than adequate. It is approximately 25 minutes out from the Tower of London, so you can also still the way to and a spazierganz by London and so the old and new (high ) London reputation. Great transport connection( bus stops right in front of the hotel and the subway is 3 minutes away). You can also not over the rooms complain, the size was okay, however was the bed too soft. What the food wise we have to say that could be better, monotonous choice, no fruit or vegetables and bland ... seasoned. But since we the whole day in the center of the city on the way were, it was reasonable for this price. read more

Hotel lies 5 -minute walk from the subway 'Old Street' and about 10 minutes' walk from the train station 'Liverpool Street' away; in addition, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel (will at night as well served; for night owls.). The check-in was everything but smoothly. Despite of the booking confirmation, the reservation only after some time be found. Then only with the 3. room-map the door open. Not a pleasure, if you the whole time his luggage through the long course drag should.
Next to the reception there is a possibility the electronic check ... in (but not working). The front desk is not occupied at night; the hotel door is completed, and is opened with the room card.
My room was simple, but clean the size acceptable. Small window with a view of the office building located opposite. Small tv with english-speaking programs available. Wi-fi there is free in the hotel bar, in the room unfortunately only for a fee.
Breakfast had i booked, but not taken because of early departure. So:no rating. The dining room made a very reasonable impression.
In short: for a short stay ok ideal starting point for sightseeing-tourists. No luxury-hostel. We must not forget, that we in the very expensive London übernachtgen - but nevertheless: the price from €86 for a double room is based on the performance 'at limit'. More than 75 Euro it would not actually should. I give a 'ja, good', but only with some concerns. read more

The hotel has a very good location for exploring the city.
The underground is in the immediate vicinity and more than reachable on foot. The hotel was clean and our room was also clean. Our window was to the street out, which however not a problem was. The bathroom was clean and towels are changed every day. The breakfast was okay however nothing special. For wlan and earlier check-in than 3:00 p. m. one must pay specially. The hotel is very adequate for people who cityward want to see the city and very central want to live. read more

In the large and whole to stay (only for sleeping) ok. Otherwise you should not continue to expect. The room was small and a longer stay not suitable. There is no area around the bagage! But you can for 10, -pound a 'early check-in' have. Cleanliness oh well. Hotel should without breakfast bookable are, since the required breakfast for our taste not done. The access to the metro was very good (about 5 minutes on foot). A supermarket in the vicinity of the hotel we didn't discover. read more

Big hotel with a many rooms, spread over 7 floors. Not the picture be tempted. This is not the hotel, the entrance is from the picture left and unassuming. We had booked accommodation with breakfast, the selection was very well arranged. English breakfast is stop getting used to. read more

Would book this hotel again anytime, already because of the very good connections subway and bus.
There are shops also, so that you everything is close by had. Breakfast was typically English, but since we are also gone, to England evenly. Over the service there is nothing to moan about, tables were always cleared and washed. A queue for breakfast, despite the paralympics, we didn't had. Room was cleaned daily and with new towels carefully. After a request for a taxi, we were promptly and helped us this' taxi reserved. Will gladly stay there again. read more

Basically I can a majority of the lots of negative reviews not confirm!
The hotel lies really central, a bus stop on the doorstep & the tube is only few minutes on foot away. Furthermore is positive, that the area around the hotel any time of the day and night is busy, you can the area as quite serious and feels also as a young woman after a durchtanzten night at a late hour on the way to the hotel very safe and in good hands. Also the hotel itself is around the hour well visited, at the front desk ... is almost always someone and always friendly from the staff welcome.
Another negative factor of many reviews was the only late possibility the check-in at 15 o'clock, however this fact sufficiently on the website of the Travelodge -chain signposted; that means you can afterwards justify & we could half an hour rather check-in. The staff were always friendly: questions were answered, ask cared for and they always feel welcome. Also our room has been lovingly cleaned daily. If more hotel guests the room signs reading would, they would have noticed, that very probably daily the towels were changed -they must of course also in the middle the bathroom throw, the staff do not know who, when fresh towels would like to have. Thus I can this negative point of many reviews here not agree. Over the breakfast you can with a three-star hotel not complain about: it was plentiful, there was no waiting times and everything has been carefully in the minutes pulse refilled. The Argument sticky tables I can confirm, however it is much more to the special coating as lack cleanliness!
The only negative factor is the noise in the rooms, the directly on the street are. With over 30 degrees it is unfortunately not possible the window during the night allow, why this room for older people, children or impaired hotel guests not recommendable are. However I can from its own experience say, that you very quickly at the Fahrtgeräusche used to, which is somehow a bit to such a city to belong.
All together we were extremely pleased, the value for money is completely reasonable and above all for a city break in London you should enough other Jobs have, than constantly some negative false details rumzumeckern! read more

This was in 2010 our second stay at this hotel. The hotel has approximately 400 rooms. The rooms are simple and practically equipped. Our room was in the 6th floor. It was clean, was cleaned daily and the towels were changed daily.
The in the hotel offered breakfast is also as simply to describe. The cleanliness in the breakfast room left nothing to the imagination.
The hotel guests come from different countries and are mostly from families, couples and few people on business trip together.
If you have a simple and cheap hotel for a städtreise searches, the hotel is ... correctly. In our case we were from the morning until late at night on the way, so that we the hotel only for sleeping use. read more

The hotel is very central location. On the doorstep a bus station and underground Moorgate only 5 minutes staff are very friendly. Room dirty and towels were not changed, nevertheless you on the floor lay. Toilets and pool dirty. Tables in the restaurant sticky and stains on the carpet on the whole house. I had for breakfast a jams( small individually wrapped packages) the already half was empty from the buffet taken. Without words. Condition of the okay food cutlery dirty, plates wet. The London are a very friendly and helpful people! Underground is self-explanatory, bus somewhat difficult. Price are ... in the upper level for food and drinks. Was a great experience, we will be back but into another hotel! read more

For a city trip definitely recommendable nonetheless. Of course, it is in the rooms a bit noisy, but for the location, in other words in the middle of London, must simply be clear. For me and my girlfriend it was exactly the right choice. Also off price wise all great. read more

Carpet in the whole hotel stained. Toilet was at least 1 times, in 4 nights not cleaned.
Tables in the dining room partly sticky. With much business no mugs. Traffic noise in night as well. In the room no safety deposit box, no air conditioning and no telephone. read more

Were now for the third time in this hotel and it had already many friends the recommended also very satisfied were! Everything is close by that you need - great for a city break. Breakfast was sufficient and the cleanliness in the room was good.
Small tip: if possible with Jamie Olivers, Italy restaurant pop in and extremely delicious food! The money is in my opinion really worth. Sharpened food, great service and brilliant atmosphere. The cheesecake was a real dream * MHH. *

We stayed over new year's Eve. The other guests were mostly under 35. Were isolated families and senior citizens to see. Our room was small, but very clean. The only drawback: no safe in the room. The breakfast buffet was typical English and therefore dhat met our expectations. Lunch or dinner can be taken in the hotel, but I would not recommend, since the quality of the food leaves something to be desired. Unfortunately the tables were sticky in the number quite. The location is great. One is in five minutes, at the underground station Moorland gate from where you ... can get to many highlights London. The other underground station old street is a bit closer. read more

Transportation to and from the hotel is good. The nearest underground station is only five minutes away. The rooms and bathroom are small and simply furnished, but it was fully sufficient! When we complained to the front desk that the toilet sistern leaked water on the floor and walk, we were allowed to move in a new room. As you on the day of arrival until 15 o 'clock in the rooms and on the day of departure to leave the rooms 11:30 o' clock settled, we are the tip with the bags collection for eight pounds at the ... Liverpool station cared for. It worked really great. read more
