Big hotel 5 minute walk from the white house and almost directly at subway station. Typical American hotel: plentiful, large beds... But not modern, stylish. Is suitable for the location excellent as a starting point for enquiry of the political Washington (white house, Reflecting pool, Washington monument, Smithsonian... ) read more

The Mayflower hotel a Insitution is in Washington. Everyone knows it. It is a beautiful hotel with Macken. The check in ran fast. The room was unfortunately small and dark. The window ( type American Sash windows) was a little clunky to use. The bed is very comfortable and clean. The bathroom the most necessary amenities is available. Unfortunately there were a few black hairs in the bath to find. Room service prices were reasonable ( especially delicious crab cakes ). Options for shopping are directly in front of the türe numerous available. Whilst checking out the spoke staff even ... German (was Europeans). In short: oK for a business trip or a short trip to Washington! read more

This hotel in Washington was worth every star!
Out from the hotel, to the left and after a short time one is in the middle in the life Washington's.
You can tell the hotel at a large history and many celebrities have stayed in... We would stay there again, if we go back a good deal would.
Besides the city simply great - we were with our children in all the museums, here are the museums almost all free of charge and there is really great! (also known from the film 'at night in the museum') read more

We chose the hotel because of very central location and got what we wanted. Many sights are on foot easy to reach. Drawbacks but we had to the room itself, because this a bit small and restraining was. But it was clean-we have admitted not every corner controlled. Staff was friendly. We spent here 4 nights-what afterwards considered too much was, as you in Washington after 2 days then everything essential has seen. read more

I would recommend this hotel, as I think the location very good. It is approximately 15 minutes walk in the white house and it is right in the center of Connecticut Avenue. The staff was more than friendly, the hotel manager met my colleagues and I even and was always present. I didn't eat it, but colleagues found it good. read more

Great city hotel with good location close to the White House and the metro. At the given our room it was best to have a room with two king size beds. The rooms are bigger and are better. No safe in the room! read more

The hotel is both from Dulles International Airport, as well as Reagan National Airport can be easily reached. From the former is first with the bus to Rosslyn Metro station, then the blue line metro line to the Farragut West metro station (60 minutes. ). From the National Airport direct with the Blue Line to Farragut West metro station (15 min. ) The tickets can be solved before boarding, you should consider the one or other Station go further afield, the latter must before leaving the station at the machines aufgezahlt. To the hotel: As already mentioned it very accessible ... and is just ten minutes walk from the White House and other attractions. I originally booked a large room for the backyard, but due to the noise of air conditioning units of bystanders houses almost no sleep and Hiked against 5:00 early to the desk to my sorry to complain. I immediately a Page on the side, the me a smaller but quiet rooms at the front showed. The room was changed in a few minutes and pleasantly quiet entered for the rest of my stay. The size of the rooms large enough for 2 people. The bathroom is very clean and everything is available. This class as in almost every hotel is located on the floor vending machine and ice machine working well. From the fridge genommenes will automatically without delay to the room - so be careful. want to bring your own drinks einkühlen, free of charge an empty fridge. All in all a very nice, not a cheap hotel to the President of the United States to look. read more

Centrally located hotel, there is a metro station just around the corner) with a bit of luxury (very nice lobby), on the internet relatively inexpensive to. The rooms are ok. Noise from the corridor and possibly the lift are heard. TV is in a closet untergepracht side, maybe a bit of an inconvenience (no flat panel TV). However, the price room only includes. Breakfast would extra cost. Also will be anything extra charged (e.g. B. Internet for a relatively expensive). Be careful with the minibar: electronic records (d. H. is a bit removed, it was immediately on the hotel ... bill; the final bill rates &!!! ) read more

The hotel is just how you imagine and want a hotel, in the state visitors staying here. Sumptious and plush, but that's something special. The room was very nice and big. The hotel is ideally located in 10 minutes walk to the White House. A metro station is very close. Directly in front of the hotel is even one stop one of double-decker bus, which was quite comfortable with a tour. read more
