The Grand Pineapple is a beautiful small (65 rooms ) all inclusive hotel with ambience and not with the large bettenbuden comparable. Guests: many americans and canadians, but also german and austrians. For couples super, for families with children not really suitable. We were very comfortable and i would book it again in. read more

    The room (we had a cottage on the beachseite with great location, although we only a cottage on the had booked the garden site, thank you ☺ ) was all in all okay, the beds were very comfortable and it was clean. There was however a bit of storage space (small closet and a chest of drawers ) for our clothes. Air conditioning, balcony, coffee machine, tv available. Mini bar you could additionally book, you need in our opinion but not. Criticism : the shower was so low, that we both (1.76 and 1.78 metres) not druntergepasst have! Please check! (room 36)

    The food is partly jamaican (sometimes very spicy...) And partially international and us almost always tasty. The breakfast was ok, but very english/american (sausages, beans, bacon, eggs, pancakes with maple syrup, peanut butter, bagels, toast, english muffins, cereal and so on), what is not so our case. Bread coating for the toast there was for me only one type of cream cheese, a sort of jam and two sorts of cheese, the whole hung me after 14 days sick... Honey instead of maple syrup and sausage and ham would have been desirable. However all in all okay. Review: all-inclusive until 24 o'clock, however on some days was at 22:30 o'clock no rum more! And on Jamaica! That is unacceptable ☺ once we went to the bar manager complained and he still has a bottle of concerned.

    The service of the staff at the restaurant and the bar was always good. From the chef to the guardsmen (the the beach guard and the traffic stop, if you have the main street want) were all super nice, helpful, and very service oriented. Top!

    Chairs on the beach are okay and always sufficiently available, even if you later. Always fresh towels and you can also 2 take, if you want. Great! Small pool, but in the garden area behind the main street, we didn't use. As well as the small whirlpool. The shower could have been a renovation necessary! Water only drop by drop... No animation (good so!) , but several times weekly jamaican live music in the evening.

    The hotel is directly at the beach. A small shopping center for souvenirs 5-10-minute walk away. Negril city is about 3 kilometers away, you can on foot either at the beach or on the road along reach. To rick's cafe (really!) You can go by cab.

Some guests use the all-inclusive offer especially the alcohol mercilessly and have in drunk condition truly no pleasant dealing, at least there should the management intervene. The tennis court is in a altmöbellager converted - unfortunately to the possibility, the offered calories los to be. The boredom to escape is definitely, with Margot excursions to make. The swiss is on the door, the bar Alfred's to reach (just after you ask, the know when it is or call), and makes the excursions very personally and nicely designed with enormous background. read more

After we in february 2012 already in this hotel there were (see my ex review), we are after reopening (15-12-2012) but a bit disappointed. At the hotel nothing was verbeesert, the seating in the restaurant has been renewed. Most disappointed both the selection and the quality of the dishes. In comparison to february has both noticeably neglected. Need it always a some time to vergriffene food to holidaymakers. Noticeable too few places to sit the diner and the bar. Bad tempered or bad motivated staff at the check in. Guest structure at least half of european (german and italian). Room ... and facilities are furthermore okay and in a good, clean state. In short: basically i would gp currently not recommend. To conversations with jamaikanern, the not in the hotel work and i am told, the management new and the staff some have been reduced and one something time need the usual standard to erlangen, i am nevertheless confident, the everything to better out. read more

Grand pineapple beach is really a nice, small complex. As three star hotel with good value for money fully okay. Small faults although available, were - but nothing serious. Cleaning of the rooms is several times only after 17:00 o'clock carried out been, the beach towels are often assumed. I am just surprised, that here nothing of overbooking is. That was in our 8 days stay at the order of the day and naturally also us. Beach-Cottage and by overbooking the first 2 nights a downgraded on the main building directly on the street. Alone in the first two ... days there was for 5 rooms an overbooking. As it is no matter wether you have been months booked, because of the Reservierungszentrale is the hotel just before the reservations. Patrizia (the Assistant of the manager, the also spoke German), because the displeasure of the guests intercept, but overbooking is unfortunately not in the area of the hotel. Also the booked transfer from the airport to the hotel didn't work, because you simply had forgotten (this is after midnight then a bit of a hassle itself a taxi to organize). Clear you get the money from the travel guide impeccably back-but it leaves no good impression. yaman -Jamaica. Was very nice - but so relaxed you can also as a tourist not be, that they say, immediately again I want to go. read more

    We received despite ups booking (1/2 year! Before) for the time being no room and the following day the worst room on the street and right next to that! The window could not be opened (noise and ground level). The rooms even dark, shabby and damp! Air conditioning was available however so loud, that we could not sleep! Additional versogte me einTank with actual motor with a soothing noise level! no terrace, no balcony!

    At Least our rooms (WARNING in the garden area) were as quiet rooms sold-no balcony or terrace, very dark like bunkers; ground level, and consequently the day not to keep open-right next to the street -consequently noise from cars and a motor the directly in front of the rooms placed. nice small area with 10 bungalows a 4 rooms and further rooms in the main building. our room( bungalow- Gartenside) are big enough for two people, but as we our 15-year-old daughter there had, it was Klamottentechnisch a bit cramped. We were only there to shower and sleep on and so it was OK. Only our air conditioning dripped the first days and it took several attempts until this was repaired. in the room our son(double room for single use in the main building) were the space conditions similar. Unfortunately was there several times the electricity for several hours. apart ... from that there was nothing to moan, everything clean and tidy. guests came with us to the majority from Canada and the United States, about 20% German. Have some really nice people meet and evenings was always a Superstimmung. read more

    Only the breakfast made us after 10 days something problems, as there is no real variety returns. Typical English, to 2 sorts jams, 2 sorts of cheese. Had us somewhat took nutella, so we came over the rounds. lunch small but absolutely sufficient buffet and the dinner with a large offer always with a subject offered. For example Italian, jamaican, oreintalisch, Mexican at the bar no wishes remained open and knew the barkeeper a drink not, so he was for us mixed. Everything was very, very delicious!

    Felt super in good hands and treated. We had never the feeling guests second class (without remaining tip) on the contrary-with much humor we had always fun with the staff( especially Kevin and Andrew from the bar) and had never long on our orders wait. Linguistically one should already more than just the simple school English, otherwise it could difficult will. At least with the complaints concerning the air conditioning we were glad our perfect English speaking son for everyone available.

    We used the pool only to morning Swim, apart from that we stayed only at the beach on. There are always sufficient beach chairs and also free from input towels. somewhat annoying the beachboys the jet skiing and other activities the whole day the beach besieged. The security was always make an effort on space to hold, but when leaving the beach helped manchmnal only a schroferes 'no'

    The location for us was perfect. to the left and to the right kilometres beaches, many nice small bars, in which we like the one or the other stop einlegten ( beer 200 JMD). evenings we found always in the closer periphery the opportunity live music enjoy. excursions could be Johnmaica, at Margot or Thomas book. We had our already from Germany at johnmaica booked. Locally we decided with Margot (which you directly next to it in Alfreds finds) a somewhat individuellern trip undertake. Unfortunately it was prepared completely fully booked.

comfortable small hotel directly at the very beautiful lively beach. the very well maintained quiet we really liked the garden peace and around stolzierenden peacocks. staff all warm and unobtrusive friendly, food varied and tasty. for young party friends maybe not so good, but there is the possibility to immediate all around. read more

We were for 5 days the GP (booked individually). The hotel has cIRCA 80 rooms, the either, by a brisk driven street separately, on the gardenor beach side home. Definitely the cottages book, since the rooms in the main building no-or only a shared balcony have. The garden is quiet, the beach side, due to Alfred' s bar, louder, but closer to the restaurant and on sea. Straßenüberquerung not a problem: Two staff stop the traffic. Pool is located in the garden area but hardly visited. Transfer the airport mbj with 'Clive transportation' for about 20 US Dollar per person ... one way; about 75 minutes very reliable. Room/bathroom big enough. Unfortunately without fridge. AC a little weak. Coffee machine/ tv available. Bathroom: bath with shower curtain. Cleaning of the rooms without complaint, although sometimes a bit late. Complex very well maintained with spa area. Choice of food not as varied as in large resorts, therefore but also understandable. What was offered was but good to very good quality ( especially seafood). Sometimes somewhat slow service. Tables clearing, coffee refill, drinks at the bar order required already sometimes patience. No international alcoholic beverages. Nevertheless for all inclusive Resort drinkable. A little bit chairs on the beach, as the hotel's own section nothing special large. Shade by trees. Shower and jacuzzi in the beach available. Beach/ sea very clean. Inkludierter water sports: Kayaking, Canoe, snorkel Equipment. For snorkelers: no corals, seaweed, many rays and sea stars not much else, super view. Abgrenzter swimming area, since sea near the beach of Jetskifahrern ( 30 minutes cIRCA 40 US Dollar) strongly frequented. Animation very decent. Entertainment on 2 evenings by live band. Very good beach BBQ dinner. Audience: Surprisingly next to North Americans also very many German speaking guests. Options for shopping (Times Square = small shopping center with ATM) 5 minutes easily reachable on foot. Excursions the best of John Maica of D book. Tip: taxis with drivers, the in the entrance area the garden side detain negotiate. Hotel's own trips are twice as expensive. Preisbsp with private taxi: Grand pineapple-Rick's café 10 US $per person there and back; Grand pineapple-new Testament Church (Gospel Church, Sunday) 5 US $per person there and back. Habituation needy: as soon as you the complex left, no matter at the beach or to the street out, one by the security for the room number and the objective asked. In short: for a 1-week beach vacation shiny value for money. For a longer stay I would a larger hotel, the more entertainment possibilities offers prefer. read more

    the rooms are not small, but by the two double beds very filled. The bathroom was rather tiny, by washbasin, toilet and bath tub overcrowded. the air conditioning refinishes individual recruitment excellent. the rooms 55-64 do not have balcony or terrace (on tour operators FTI). the TV on channel 92 runs the German wave. no fridge, but a coffee machine is available, safe is free included in the price.

    Animation( mainly Quizzes) there is sometimes on later morning, the questions are on US and Canada changed. Canoes, surf boards, etc. there are at the beach to rent. in the front desk area there was also an Internet corner. Cheaper but it is in an Internet cafe at the beach (1/2 hour costs 150 Jamaica dollars, about 1.50 euro). on the edge the beach there are some large shady trees. All around there were plenty of beach chairs (were never busy). at the pool there were also some beach chairs, the were never busy.

    Directly on CIRCA 11 kilometer long, fine sandy beach of the Caribbean sea. Directly at the hotel is the beach wide, at high tide it is but sometimes tight. If no wind blew, the sea is so quiet as a lake( especially in the morning). During the day can almost always wind and waves, too. The crisscross dahinrasenden jet ski boats, the water is rough. 15-minute walk from the hotel away is the Times Square shopping center with approximately 15 shops. It is paid with USDollats.

I know many hotels of all categories in Negril, montego bay Ocho Rios. The Grand Pineapple is definitely one of my favorite. Very easy going and i wanted to know a small hotel, without animation, without huge buffet. The was exactly after my taste. Friendly rooms, a lot of green around, a lovely terrace and 100 meters footpath to the beach. What more could you want? read more

Grand pineapple beach is for the a beach holiday very good. The size of the hotel is with good 50 rooms very pleasant. The staff is up on a few exceptions very nice and friendly. At leisure offers is table tennis and beach volleyball offered. Three performances in the week of local bands are the evening entertainment, what a very pleasant is for people, the need no entertainment. The buffet is very rich and tasty. The breakfast could be more varied alone. The structure of the guests is mainly American and German. All in all, it was a nice hotel ... for a beach holiday. read more

Our second holiday in pineapple beach was again excellent. Room, food, friendliness of the staff, the beach. everything was wonderful for a relaxing holiday. We will probably also a third time. Had a great holiday on a few days, which from a wedding (approximately30 persons) Americans in the hotel were. The were only embarrassing and very noisy (until 5:30 A.M. was on the balconies-despite tepid air conditioning you could not sleep (us have the first time ever, complained) was quiet against alfred. Americans have no manners and just thought you are the kings! but apart from that, we had a lot of fun, it is always full and died on any case. With a tip everything goes faster and better. A very cozy hotel located on the beach. We have to complain about anything. The meals were good and plentiful (sometimes very spicy), the entire staff was nice and friendly and to be had for a joke. At the bar it was everything to drink (cocktails, rum, whisky, Baileys, grand style, beer and more) Everything all inclusive! We had a room to the garden side and were very satisfied. The cross is no problem the main road, there was a kind of student pilots are, the rules (if required) the traffic. We were completely satisfied and have a lovely holiday. read more
