Hotel Plaza^{(4 stars)}

The first impression of the room was not good. You could still see traces of the previous guests, toothpaste. Firstly, we had a room without a balcony- very dark and no comfort factor! After speaking with the rep in charge, we got a room with a balcony, which in this hotel was also important!

The food was so bad that I can't even put it into words! Let's begin with the breakfast: there is no orange juice for breakfast in a 4-star hotel (which I don't understand, perhaps it was rated a few years ago- instead there was water with syrup), no eggs, no fresh fruit, except for watermelon every day, and even that was not fresh! It was the same every day! One type of sausage and one type of cheese! The jam was in a large glass bowl, with only one spoon in it! One day there was no more rolls, the other day no more butter! This island is known for their cheese, but there was not even any! 10 days of the same thing. We bought our own sausages, as well as orange juice. The atmosphere in the breakfast room was very poor, unless you like it very noisy in the mornings due to various kitchen utensils! (Although the door electrically opened and closed, it had to stay open). We had this, and it was not dealt with- unfortunately. We were seated in the corner of this room, however! The choice on the dinner menu: you had to be really lucky and choose the place! There was the same salad buffet every evening, and always the same instant broth with small noodles! You had to get there fantastic soups out of a warm box (4 stars?). I can't imagine that the staff had the same food on holiday, without any variety or choice! The main courses were good at the end of the holiday!

The staff were OK. You could see the that Croatians got preferential treatment! Nothing was shown or explained to us regarding our arrival! They give you a card, and you're expected to find your own room! No explanation as to how something works or when it breakfast or dinner. Instead, there was a map in the room, if it is even there at all! Before we moved rooms, there was no map in our room! Their dealing with complaints was OK, at least bit was corrected!

The hotel was advertised with its own cocktail bar. I looked around for 10 days and could not find anything! The only thing that they could make for me was a Caipi. I can't say anything about the pool because we did not use it, as there wasn't enough space because there were not enough sun beds! The hotel's beach: built for about 100 guests, 70 from the Hotel Plaza and the other entrance from the other nearby apartments. A space of about 10m in length and 2m in width! And from around 16:00, there was no more sunshine!

I read about the cleanliness here, unfortunately there is very little evidence of it. When we arrived, the toothpaste from the previous lodgers was still there! The general condition was not that much better! The only thing that was always cleaned was the "big" pool. Only the rooms with balconies are good, otherwise it's as dark as a small bunker. We had to waste a whole morning moving rooms!

Area was OK, unfortunately only totally crowded with tourists! The hotel's "beach" was a joke! Not enough for so many people! And at the pool as well. And something else that is very important is that from 4pm, there is no more sun on this side of the city! So at best it's a 15 minute drive by car! The hotel itself doesn't make for good sunshine and relaxing swimming!

Very sauber.Tv, air conditioner, telephone, hair dryer vorhanden.M� Furniture are new, and well maintained.

The food was very varied and very tasty. From pasta and chips or fish everything was there. The service was very courteous and helpful.

Staff very nice and helpful. Laundry facilities are on site quick handling of everything and also of complaints..

Pool was available, but we didn't use it. Shower there is also right in front of the pool.

We had booked half-board. My little girl with 1 year, has slept in a baby cot. The room was without a balcony with seaview, completely enough for us. Air conditioning ran all day, we used it as a base for turned off after midnight. The cleanliness was very good. The food was delicious and varied. For guest use in the evening, you could choose from from 4 menus. There was even a high chair available. Guests of different nationalities were there. If you had an inquiry, it was immediately dealt with. In our room the page(mattress) from my husband squeaky, later in the day, is done. We were completely satisfied. Could extended even!

Our double room was spacious and had a French balcony facing the pool and sea, a very nice room with great views! There was a safe, refrigerator and an air conditioner, which sadly the room was never very cool. the floor was unfortunately a carpet and the mattresses were very too old. despite my not übergewichtes hanging at these mattresses through and my good vertebral column had to these holidays leiden. this problem had several guests, but some rooms should be the mattresses already had been replaced.

The friendliness of the great waiter made the "uncertainties" of the above mentioned meters. more than made up for it. we were lucky to have it as your waiter and he treated us like guests 1. Great, there was a restaurant with a bar and the food was varied and plentiful and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, there was too little country typical food, I really missed the Pager cheese or that lamb ...

We had a great waiter. he was always friendly, fun and had good German or also English and we could well maintained. Apart from the general manager, a bit of German almost none of the staff could understand German. the receptionist could some English. the room cleaning was okay. the only complaint we had no toothbrush holder until the last day or no glass into the room. after we took a glass of restaurant, stayed this until the end.. But The repairs were taken care of. we had 2 x the Bora and the Terrassetüre castle is not really, the wind blew us the bed. maintenance came immediately - also late night - and fixed the door. what a shame was unfortunately is that the young general manager has not really concerning hospitality training. there was no "BYE", or "how did you like it" from his mouth. he tried a not plenty to see and chose to with CROATIAN or slovenes. as we in other (also Croatian hotels) the hospitality are used to something else we found it to be very unusual, guests to ignore them or only the bare essentials to respond and partly didn't say hello. it could note from talking to guests, you or maybe improve could change. the the satisfaction of the guests is also in a very nice designed hotel is full of its own importance. I suspect that the young age is and he had a little unsure is and was not intended.

We booked this hotel because we wanted a quiet, relaxing holiday, so we also missed no activities or sports facilities, there was a disco in pag or in novalje/zrce. for plenty of entretainment.. oh available. Unfortunately, the beach was very small and very crowded in high season, as many apartments in the vicinity and the guests also use this beach. the water on the whole island pag very clean, especially on very remote booked. my opinion were too few beach chairs for the guests of the hotel available, but there is also a lack of storage, are available for all guests on/parasol. there is a shower in the pool area.

well laid out hotel, right on the sea. it has a great view over the town of Pag and to the velebit mountains. unfortunately blowing here very often the Bora right on pag (we had within one week, 2 x a strong storm). you then on the other side of the island (mandre, simuni) avoid wind, as it is. the beach is very small and crowded and there is for about 28 rooms and corresponding amount of guests too few pool chairs and seating in the pool area. the swimming bay in pag I would not recommend, since they very crowded and the main road toward the pag next door. but if you have a car, could be found in the direction novalje great lonely bays with a Very fine pebble beach. there are only a few people and the sea is just fantastic turquioise blue, we have stayed there many times in Croatia, but these (our bay) was just called "HAMMER" in part Schotterstrassen the with signs for "beach" ..... symbol. the town of Pag is highly recommended. it offers something for everyone. it's a great shop and there are enough tavernas and cafe's. here are also all age groups were represented. our hotel room was free deckchair double CÔTÉ pool/sea and was very spacious with a great view. on the downside, the walls are thin and we had young people party goers than Nachbarn....es were families with children as well as young people but couples as well as our age group as guests represented. for the handicapped this hotel is not suitable, As it steep downhill and with steps. the garage is very steep and has very narrow of counter space. they were at our travel time there were a lot of Austrian and German guests and a few Croatians or, slovenes.

Very great location right on the sea front overlooking pag and velebit mountains. Town of Pag walk about 15-20 minutes away. small market a few minutes away. since the island is small within short time you can visit other villages or beaches.

The family room is big enough for 4 or 5 people could also sleep. It was well stocked with,newer Möblage. There is an a/c the unfortunately not kept things to do, the word "air condition" promises. The room had a relatively large balcony with table and chairs. A small complaint was the location of the room 326 . It is situated in the engine Compartment of Hotelaufzugs. A small, but not noisy noise disturbance to around 11 :00pm is a fact.

The hotel has a restaurant and a bar that came together. Furnished nicely and lovely, there is everything a neat and very clean. Of food and beverage there is nothing to complain about. The breakfast buffet was always the same, dinner in the form of menu choice, 4erlei, includes a starter and salad buffet. Sometimes pasta and Reisreste "weiterverkocht". In acceptable and tasty way. The menus change through meat, fish and vegetables are sometimes combined and allow the kitchen so big compliment.

The staff of the hotel Plaza is very friendly and tried hard, especially if you Croatian. If not, is a bit reserved. But that was probably because of my subjective point of view. Much is the staff okay. Waiters and kitchen staff as well as the ladies who serve the rooms are top notch and speak Croatian - nona- a little German, but don't like, and English. The "general manager" seems to its position aware and selfconfident. A note that my son from a tiny Löchlein from a corner in the bathroom "small bugs crawling looked" was just the award worth a company at the beginning of the season the hotel for annoying roommates reviewed and, where appropriate intervention. But it was then take a closer control so that the "little bugs" harmless ants Wilmington. But the "general manager" not itchy. :-(

Fortunately, there were no activities or entertainment, a small pool with a shower at the edge of plastics, large umbrellas, beach chairs and some tables with benches (padded cushions) in the "Urlaubsflairdesign" in the shade, actually perfect. A very friendly good spirit of this place, probably underpaid, the whole area as well as the rest of the hotel cared for every evening with a steam jet cleaned. The pool itself could use at the end of the season in a "big service do with. Remarkable was the fact that our children, we were 3 families with 6 children, 5 nights from one side take a dip in the swimming pool. On the sixth day, you believe it or not, it was forbidden and our kids understood the world has not more. (Rollaway beds: cracked are always only three kids.) An opinion of the hotel was not reachable.

Relatively newly built hotel with narrow parking garage with narrow parking and some spaces at the Ortsstraße, the use cost extra, € 5 -- per day. No parking in the immediate area, but private large verwildertes neighboring plot with apartment block and plenty of space. The exact Number of rooms is unknown, however, it does with the number of indirect (Croats, slovenes, German and Austrian) in pleasant manner. Highly Recommended are the "family" : ground floor includes an entrance room and a bathroom with toilet. Easy then over a staircase a floor higher where a bedroom for two children and a separate bedroom for two adults. From the bedroom the parents go to a balcony. It is also in this level a toilet. room number 326 was only partially recommendable, as is attached to the upper toilet a door and behind the motor for Hotelaufzuges is. Therefore, the light noise disturbance to around 11 :00pm to be expected. Otherwise, the rooms are spotless and clean, are in good hands and structurally in good condition. Little things like wobbly towel rack and the same were overlooked. Breakfast buffet is adequate but offer always the same. The dinner (menu) was varied and tasty, the hors d'oeuvres was also always the same and partly leftovers such as pasta and rice again a different appearance

At the access to the pool area is a stairways to a platform, about five feet above the sea. A knee wall is not gesichtert - beware slopes of to the underlying rocks. The hotel could improve structurally in these areas. From there you can get to the beach over a concreted path. The beach is about 70 m long and has gravel covered. Watch out for the transition from the concreted path on the beach. There are some large stones, partly sharp and stolperfallenartig. If you get tired this beach, then the next possibility to the public beach to avoid Pag city. In about fifteen minutes walk and you are there. This beach is usually very busy and the evening walk there dogs of all lawn around the so wish ................ Otherwise you could on "Google Earth" Inform yourself and the various panorama pictures were offered the beaches on Pag explore and then visit. Our family room was big enough on two floors and with an unbelievable great view.

The restaurant in the hotel is ok very clean. The food is a matter of taste, but very acceptable, will be an extra charge for drinks at dinner, but the bill of the room and then moved to a amount payable at check-out.

The language is generally Croatian or English. The staff at the front counter are reserved but the room cleaning staff was typical Croatian very friendly and outgoing.

The hotel is in perfect condition. Unfortunately, there were no possibilities to mountains surrounding it sometimes innevitable parking, you have to pay the Tiefgaragengebühr. The entrance to the underground car park is very steep and for large cars not recommended, we had trouble in and exit, also with parking, the parking spaces are very narrow decorated. The room (family room) was really great and very generous. Everything in very good shape with sleeping up to 5 people. The family rooms are additionally equipped with balcony (covered) and beautiful view of the sea and the mountains. Otherwise this place is for all those who want peace and the tourist hub wanting to get away from it all. No entertainment no loud music at night. The food is ok. In the evening, guests can choose between 4 menus, was not always to our taste but there were enough starter salad and in addition selectable dessert.

The beach is directly below the hotel, although a bit small and in fine weather very quickly taken. Otherwise are very much rocks, then we rented a boat takes you to the beautiful deserted beaches where you can get away from it all and nothing except water and mountains all around. Pag is a very nice city with its shopping you need, lots of friendly small dealer and cafes on every corner. The weather was you had to definitely with the stubborn Bora, altogether 3 days stops. The wind is very busy and can be quite long unlike other regions of Croatia. So jacket and sturdy shoes are definitely recommended.

Since the hotel wasn't too is old, it is in a very good condition. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. There is a safe and a small refrigerator, air-conditioning, telephone, a satellite area for German TV channels ... what more could you ask for

Dinner was also always very good. A wide choice of salads, fresh vegetables you could enjoy a starter. To finish there was dessert which was also very delicious.

The staff was always friendly, most speak several languages! The rooms are super clean and also very spacious.

There are enough beach chairs and umbrellas.

Small personal hotel with about 20 rooms. The hotel was in good condition, it stands out especially because of its cleanliness. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet could offer something every guest, whether scrambled eggs or Speigelei, jam, sausage, cheese, quark, cereals, and much more. The coffee was maybe a bit thin, but a friendly smile in the kitchen to a greater coffee insure :-)

The distance to the beach is spectacular. Unfortunately, the beach at full hotel occupancy a little "crowded". But since it nearby beautiful Naturstrände, it's not a problem
