A circa 40-room big hotel in a side street. Of the center located. The reception in the small reception were very friendly and willing to help. The keys were immediately taken from, to the car perfect on the very narrow parking ( only 8 places!) To negotiate. The room on the 3rd floor was large and not only functional, but also color and the möbelstil comfortably furnished. The furnishings with the technical devices was very good. The bathroom was also very spacious and modernly furnished. The breakfast was the variety of the quality excellent! Especially worth mentioning was the offer ... fresh fruit with for instance passionsfrüchten, blue, johannesbeeren etc. It was in a very comfortable and very clean rooms were eaten. The tables were wonderful set, everything really appetizing! The waiters were quick and very friendly, every requirement was smiling met. It was a breakfast for a long stay! The hotel had for a city tour a gorgeous area. To approximately 50 meters we were in the 'main street', that means in the pedestrian area with all its possibilities. We could the entire old town included castle wonderful on foot distance. read more

The hotel is very well located and quiet, the breakfast buffet is very good and sufficiently stocked.
The booked double room contained however only a seating area, with a size of approximately 13 square meter very small, the bathroom very modern but also very small, the french bed with a width of 140 centimeter not comfortable (rather for individual ), in case of a complaint was only the use a single room with a charge 75, -€ offered.
All in all a good hotel, however, one should before reservation over the details of the desired room detailed information. read more

U. E. with the best hotel, to explore Heidelberg and nevertheless peacefully located, as in a small lateral road directly at the beginning of the long shopping street. Everything is easily reachable within walking distance; the car we had the 3 days only in the garage are. We had a comfort room booked and were very satisfied. Room is beautifully large and had a small balcony; quiet in the courtyard located. Garage we had reserved in advance; the staff goes the car purely and also again, as the garage is very tight. It worked out but everything was excellent. The ... rich breakfast buffet makes to its name all the honor - brilliant atmosphere, everything was nicely set up and the selection was really great. The next time we will gladly again when you book! read more

I was in this hotel already about six times. The rooms stayed there a few years ago rather run down. But from now the rooms in need of renovation, the new rooms are really nice. The evaluation of the gastronomy relates only to the breakfast/dinner is not offered. This is however, that it is practically right in the old part of town and the restaurants. The rooms at the back very quiet! The best thing about the hotel is the proximity to the old town-you get out and is right in the pedestrian zone of Heidelberg! I would highly recommend ... this hotel! read more

Rooms were clean and bright but very small. Not so small that you can meet as I have experienced in Prague but for two adults with luggage you need to consider if you only where it is. Therefor cleanliness and quality of the furniture was very good. The preparation and the cleaning were exemplary in his absence. So you want service. When we arrived there was already water. For 2, -EURO you get automatically new bottles in our room. Is charged at check-out. The location was the best. Despite quiet location next to the 'shopping' and turn right and just ... go for a stroll right in the mall. The breakfast was average but with very friendly service. My request for scrambled eggs or similar they immediately complied and immaculate. Here I would 'gastronomy-service' like full marks. Concerned conclusion: small rooms but great service and great location right on the main street (shopping area) and nearby many parking garages. Tip for young drivers: if you are not in the hotel's own garage for 17, -EURO parking can for 10, -EURO per night in the garage in the Poststraße parking. These are just five minutes walk to the hotel. read more

Centrally located hotel nearby and the Main shopping street.
Good service and nice breakfast room, unfortunately the rooms facing the street too loud and too hot in the summer. Because the Hotel only has a few parking spaces, definitely reserve or just arrived by train. read more

The hotel goldene rose Liget direakt to the shopping street in the old town of Heidelberg and is still very quiet.
The parking is very limited and so one should absolutely book a hotel parking lot. As the cars in the garage is still blocked me a mystery but it is handled very carefully with the cars.
The breakfast was very varied and very good. High chairs were available as well as a Kinderbet, which was done at the room when we arrived.
I would recommend this hotel and would stay again at any time recommendable. read more

a delightful hotel with a wonderful garage. Yes, it is! We met tourists, who were in the inner courtyard and photograph left. A warm welcome at the front desk, they offered us to the car park. The hotel is located at the beginning of the pedestrian zone in a side street, sign on the pedestrian area of the hotel. We had a very quiet room with a nice bathroom and great decor. The best part was the breakfast room and the breakfast is better in a 5 * hotel! Everything was satisfying, scrambled eggs were freshly prepared-upon request-and lovingly decorated ... and brought to you. Candles, flowers, wonderful dishes. A PC available with free Internet access. We could recommend this hotel 100%. read more

Checking-in was a cinch! On request fresh scrambled eggs.
