We stayed on our trip from Ottawa to Toronto in Peterborough for one night. This relatively newly built, Best Western hotel is characterized by a very good value for money. Friendly staff; free Internet access. Also a pool is available, breakfast ok and included in the room rate. Around the hotel there was little infrastructure. To get to the main center of Peterborough to get you need about half an hour walk. On the way there you also a romantic lake. Than sights of the city are a boatlift and a Kanumuseum (worth seeing). Conclusion: hotel is ideal for those ... seeking a stopover. Only the lighting in the room as well as the was a bit soft bed could be improved. read more
