Our stay was too short for detailed to assess. The renovated rooms are very good, to eat all restaurants visited, for example in the ' diamonds ', very good food! It is a pity that in the bar may be smoked! read more

The hotel complex is in a totally lousy condition, totally run down this much, everything broken or in construction, 94% russian guests with an incredible behavior, everything on the complex golden 5 resort furthermore the Hotel Al mas is extremely dirty, carpets very dirty and also despite the best efforts of the really very friendly staff not clean to get. We stayed this hotel with a extra charge for 5 stars by gala vital and were just appalled. The tour operator was at any time ready our complaint to look at and to remedy.

The whole golden 5 facilitities are decline.
In and in all buildings, streets, landscaping is considerable investitionsstau in as they say. That means the complex damp. Incomplete buildings and unfinished buildings are to see. Right next to al mas desk is an unfinished building, in which the stahlamierungen for the betonarbeiten rusting away. Everywhere, the investors any more money to the earlier great area to finish and maintained. The cable car is for years defect. The water games in front of the golden 5 are only a karrikatur its former beauty. It is obvious that no money for new pumps ... for the decrepit old parts to instalilieren. The front desk was the hotel's and the whole golden 5 area dark. All servce were dark. We were to glüch in the room and were able to provide us with a flashlight to help us. In the hallways didn't work a single emergency lighting, the also on the exits ninweisen should. The water pumps were fancy. This is for the existing sprinkler systems under fire conditions very useful. Since then with water be opened and just functioning until the rest of the line pressure had fallen off. Probably there is no backup generators or it is also defective. This condition is extremely careless and the emergency of life! read more

The al mas is distinguished by its distance to the beach (less than 100 meters). Had a great view of the sea! The staff were to us german guests extremely polite and accommodating. The german guest service (ashraf ) was very competent, top language skills, was around all requests immediately and fully cared. He was at any time of day and night! Available and approachable. Because of the lots of russian beach guests resembles the restaurant at lunchtime rather a a mensa, but by the many restaurants on the complex also the discerning guest at the hotel, there are very ... nice quiet dining, you need to check. A real improvement would be a filter coffee, this is however almost completely Afrika so, which one only nescafe ' is. A coffee machine would the hotel really appreciate. We were very satisfied with the hotel, with the entire area also, for us was the very big complex and the many restaurants a real plus point! Gladly again! read more

Thanks for the great 8 days here in the al mas hotel. We recovered super. Our zimmerserveice was perfect,
Ali Mohamed had daily new handtuchideen and was very accommodating. Also at the beach we were
Spoiled, in which our loungers and the wind screen almost hourly have been moved. The food in the al mas restaurant was perfect, against the mediterranean food hard disappointed. The appetizer was cold, the main course also. In 30 minutes we were herausgebeten. Also in diamondrestaurant we were with the black all inclusive bracelet as guests 2. class treats. It is now back to the ... eisskalte Germany. We were their guests from l6. -24 january 2013. read more

We were a little confused, by the very different evaluations and are still in the al mas dangers. And it was worth it. We were very comfortable. Many gracious little things, like a always stocked fruit basket in the room, small sweets or the invitation to egyptian evening or a cocktail reception, have helped. Also the possibility, in the other hotel or in the specialty restaurants to eat, we can notice and are not disappointed %blank%.
Our room was always cleaned well and the environment was constantly well-kept. And what the beach subject, if it was not so loud, is ... located in the green zone in good hands. There it is calmer than on other sections and quite clean. Safe is also in the al mas a majority of the guests from Eastern Europe, but we have not found that a drawback. It would be beautiful, if in the evening signs an appropriate clothing would ask. This note may however not only the east europeans stand! read more

Beautiful and neat hotel. The freshly renovated rooms are modern and with a star hotel. Very lots of friendly and not pushy staff worry daily for the well being of the guests, also at the beach. The food is rather average. New dishes could the hotel also use. Apart from that i had Hotel Al mas palace a nice holiday. read more

Disastrous area. Everything was broken and neglected. The food was the absolute great, it was simply not to enjoy, with complaints it was said: 'the russians want it'., which was not correct however, these sometimes complained. At the beach bar one was so rude, that you the food (fries) with the hand on our plates packed. There was no fruit in the all-inclusive package, you had to buy it. Everywhere only thin plastic cups, coffee was not done, one burned the hands. The sanitary installations, it was just not at all, do you have shower, ran the water to the ... living room, the toilet brushes were not white, dark brown. The simplest things were not eliminated, they did so, as if one suddenly no german anymore could.
The staff were very friendly and eager to help, but the condition could not change.
Please take away from this area. If we have not already three times in Hurghada would have been, we would this place never again visit. But believe us there are great facilities, for example Albatros place resort. Beware of the taxi drivers in the hotel, in any case the hotel. On the complex you pay 20 €to the city center, outside just 5 €. read more

The hotel complex with its 7 hotel is only on russian guests made for. The pool bars there was only cheap fast-food (Hot Dog (inedible) hamburg (inedible) on styroporschalen gallicisms plastic cutlery and plastic disposable cups. In the entire hotel there is no possibility of freshly cooked coffee. There are only instandkaffee to do it yourself. The restaurants are pure canteens. There is the same food everyday. No matter wether in the morning, noon, or evening and the food is only on russian guests made for. The minimalist. Here too fizzy drinks in small disposable plastic cups. It's a very good value for it's money. Huge well planned and kept territory with a lot of pools and dining facilities. I was impressed by very high water slides) check in was fast, room clear. We lived on the second floor with beautiful view. Also, room have large balcony. Food in restoraunt was very tasty)
