Everything as expected (the contributions here and in konkurrenzportalen had I read!). The hotel was shortly after our check out ( middle October) the hibernation resigned. Thus very small extent of utilization, which we very much for pleased: sun lounger etc. Always free, quality of the water pool great. We were after seven years now the second time here and were delighted again. read more

Perfect complex for families no high expectations on animation bodies. Brilliant food with a lot of variation and Greek specialties. Very large room and kept clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Internet in the room not everywhere available. read more

Simple yet very clean rooms. Many rooms in a very large complex = enough space for everyone. More than enough loungers at the very large pool ( slightly salty water). Very good ( half board). During our stay were very many families from Russia and Germany since. Problems with loud, volltrunkenen russians ( as in the media often described) did not give it at all, completely on the contrary. Guests very pleasant, children were well behaved. read more

We were now, as well as last year a week the Candia park village, the complex is not new, but very well maintained, the rooms are completely okay and really big limited, with high utilization is the congestion in the large complex, so no stress in the mood under the guests is quiet and relaxed, ultimately by the construction of small houses, arranged like a Cretan village. Lots of plants, everything beautifully designed, so should vacation his. Pool in top condition, very nice! We had only booked accommodation and breakfast, breakfast offers a very large Bandwidth, everything fresh, much fruit ..., yoghurt Quark, pancakes etc. If you didn't find anything there it is your own fault, the we have stayed very much worse in other hotels experienced. Cats there was as in every Greek tavern also! Just three piece, we have rarely seen if you mind should not Griechenlanf travel. This year we have our sixth vacation the Candia park. From 2004 to 2008, we were with our children there, this time without children. The complex has nothing to quality and also nothing from your great Greek atmosphere lost. The design of the village type complex and the immediate access to the beach ( great Bay) we have in any other Greece vacation had. Next door was but also the very friendly staff an essential reason, why we even this year again felt very much at ease; enjoyable was, that many of the staff furthermore the hotel uncompromised-this speaks for ... the family-run hotel. Still will high value for cleanliness put. For families with kids, the hotel is very suitable. The hotel complex was located very beautifully and generously built. One sees however on some details that you in the last few years nothing is invested has. The hotel is outdated. One sees it especially with the dishes, bathroom. Partly had the creamer, cups cracked and brown stains. The tiles and mountings and bath tub everything is old.
The location of the hotel is super over the Mirabello Bay. The hotel beach is small but OK.
The food is simple and well. Disappointing was the Dessebüfett, has always the same given the fruits (watermelon, honeydew melon, kiwi, Peaches) and then a couple more Blätterteighäppchen with honey and three sorts of ice.
The guests come mainly from (CH, DE, AT, FR and Eastern Europe), but mostly very much ... families with children
To Agios Nikolaos circa 5 kilometer.
The hotel has 3.5 stars, this is my opinion I travel weekly through Europa! read more

Unfortunately it is tolerated, that stray cats of hotel guests right in the restaurant ( is located in the open) fed. Therefore we have several cats with every meal directly at the tables and beg. Fallback procedures for those guests, the felt disturbed, there is hardly any. Another animal problem: the dishes at the buffet from flies besieged-very unappetizing! On a only of 14 days of vacation the marmelade therefore boxspring.
Unfortunately, because everything else we really liked - apart from the fact, that someone big business in the pool has done. The score was the lifeguard discreet and the ... quality of the water also reviewed. However therefor can now the hotel nothing! read more

We all were very good, whether in the kids' club (open 10 until 21 o'clock), in one of the three pools ( Wassetriefe of 60 centimeters to 2,80 meters), with the snorkeling in the sea in front of the hotel, in of the pool bar with dreamlike sea view or simply on the large terrace before the bungalow...
Also good as a starting point for excursions suitable: in Agios Nikolaos middle one is by bus (1.60 Euro) or taxi (8 Euro) in 10 minutes, on the main street to Heraklion by car also in 10 minutes read more

Very nicely laid out village with a lot of bungalows. The staff are very friendly and helpful. At the buffet really everybody could find something to eat. Of course the hair in the soup to find wants, could find something here.
However in this hotel you can very good spend a holiday. Would definitely book it again. read more

We are already much in the world lot, for business and pleasure. However the atmosphere in this hotel is simply great. We have the architectural style and the gardens almost daily new admired, the food and the staff's hospitality enjoyed and just relaxed. Also, the hotel booking one of reasonably priced rental car was thanks of tips of the neighboring diving center not a problem. The diving station very competent and friendly. The spots more resources ( sea) moderate. We would do it again! Only note: the beds are quite hard but OK.

Assessment strongly to book. During the whole vacation rental car plan, beach only average.
Our accommodation with a terrace was close to other. Until for breakfast, dinner the easy way 5 minutes hike, not bad just annoying from the fifth day. read more

A hotel which in my opinion slowly into the years came. Certainly must by the hotel management consider, where the trip in future we should go. In the sky, praised family fitness can certainly in some Punkzen are discussing. The numerous stairs, of course, due to the wonderful hillside for Falilien with small children not really optimal. Also the occasional light evening entertainment is relatively to see. The live -performance the artists went partly until midnight. The selected volume is caused during our son ( 3 years old) 6 of 12 almost aschlaflose nights. As well as the lots of ... stairs this is not fundamentally negative, you must as a family only know.
Basically I can say, however, that this hotel an ideal place for those seeking tranquillity couple is. The location is brilliant. Alone the view from the terrace of the pool bar on the Bay of Mirabello is wonderful. The staff are normally always friendly and above average attentive. The quality the room decor is in my opinion any four-star standard more. But like I said, it must certainly be basically be decided, whether for future needs to be invested, the default be able to continue. Would be worth it in my opinion for this scenic location complex to 100%. I should like to readers but also the hotel management make it quite clear, that the Candia park nothing to moan about have, however I see some points just different than other guests. Reviews are always subjective to values, and everyone feels the realities of different.
