Big hotel with about 200 rooms and villas on an idyllic location. Room ageing mold on the whole bathroom, jacuzzi on terrace partly broken. In the public area too few toilets are functioning. Too much beach chairs at the small beach the ölsardinengefühl is available. Rimini lets greet. International guest structure. This hotel lies in the middle of a sweet bay with a wonderful view on the rocks! We had a spa room with jacuzzi - really recommendable!
Pure relaxation!
The rooms were huge: massive balcony with 2 loungers and jacuzzi. All air-conditioned! Itself outside! The bathroom was with free standing bath tub and rain shower. Details as full-length mirror, a good hair dryer, suntan creams, aftersuncreme, flashlight, umbrella etc. Toppten it in addition!
The staff are so friendly, personal and very helpful!
For children are extra program (painting, crafts, etc.) Offered.
There are a variety of restaurants in the ... hotel. You can but also via speedboat on the 'mainland' drive or over the monkey trail walk (10 minutes) to various restaurants, einkaufsmoehlichkeiten or massages the aonang to arrive. The speedboat runs almost hourly until 24 hours. The long tail boat costs per person and ride 150 Bhat.
The monkey trail is a small way with wood stages /-boards over the mountain. At night it is lit. There, there are terribly many curious and tame monkeys. Very funny!
The bay in front of the hotel there is wonderful! The beach is very clean and the water crystal clear and calm. It is completely flat inside. One always finds loungers (very comfortable with soft mats)- if the hotel is booked. By the pool is really crowd of loungers and it was very crowded, but if you are going further left or right, there was, are less people and you can really relaxation! On the lawn and the trees one finds also always shade!
You could get towels by the pool.
The good and very extensive breakfast, the service, the nature and the many sounds of animals, the great room, the ambience-all these left our vacation one! We felt like we were in paradise! read more

The hotel is located in a beautiful bay, the location is wonderful! But that was it unfortunately also!
You pay for 5 stars, value is less then 3-4 stars!
The hotel and the rooms are really poorly maintained and run down! Our pool on the balcony was richtigt dirty, the outside was moldy it already! The cushions on the balcony there were also very well kept! In our shower there was mold, the door to the toilet was very difficult to! Overall, simply too few and badly cleaned, that is clear the staff! Sometimes missing towels in the room, if ... you the room service called, was quickly annoyed when we! There were partly up to 2 days, plates, leftovers, bottles etc. Before the individual doors, the staff cleared these simply not away! So if you leave your room for example to the beach ran, you had to constantly at the waste past and is in a 5 star hotel, just not acceptable! On the breakfast terrace are often dead kakerlak, from anmeisen be devoured rum! With the an underfloor fish pool there is a seating area, which is so dirty, vogelsch. During our stay was not far away! At the so often praised beach bar there were just bad fast food, for example burgers, pizza, etc. For a totally overpriced! The move around monkeys perform again and again droppings inside bothered on the way for breakfast, is not an issue, but rather than the shit wegzuputzen it's simply platt run! The staff is busy, the monkeys with slingshots to scare, anstat cleaning! The poor monkeys in the nature reserve with slingshots chad-i thought that was already really borderline, i would prior to known, i would have this hotel certainly not booked! The 2. the pool was due to the renovation the whole time locked, worked on but none! The toilet at the beach smells just perverse and is located just behind the beach bar, such as delicious ☺
Overall the hotel its price absolutely not worth it! We also with a lot of other guests of different nations unetrhalten and simply nobody was with the services of the hotel satisfied!
A tip at all: if you want to stay in phi phi -Iceland want, bay please never the tour with the hotel, but outside with a local providers! The tour in the hotel costs about 30 €more, as usual! It is considered a luxustour offered with great food etc., luxury however only the price! The hotel's boat is an old things, that dopplet long as the speedboats the other vendors! We were told, that a toilet were available! So we booked this tour! A terrible day! We did stop at 2 places for snorkelling on the way to Maja-bay! All other boats drove the objective directly at, when we then finally on the road, the bay was full, so we one of the most beautiful places, not could see! Then it was off to the lunch, cruel stuff, not edible! Then complained all the guests the staff, the apologized much, but it didn't help, the purpose of the bay was not possible! Back in the hotel we complained right at the ausflugspersonal, that tried to apologize! Ersta as we have clearly made it clear, that it is complete rip-off is, secured told us, that we be called! After 30 minutes, they were at and apologized again and gave us 30% discount! The did but nothing, the highlight of the tour had missed. The next day we met the other guests, with us the excursion had! This had no discount get, since they only briefly with the bootpersonal had complained and called they were not! On our tip back, got these guests their money back. read more

We would our families-bath -holidays in any case spend there again. Everything was just perfect! The arrival by boat is an experience. Wonderful beach, great water sports and beautiful lawns for sunbathing.
The way on footh to the next bay is adventurous and especially the children a lot of fun. Very friendly staff, the every wish fulfilled. Large lovingly designed room with a huge balcony. read more

Unfortunately i would have on the mixed reviews to trust. We were as a family with 5-year old daughter for 6 nights. The hotel is very beautiful in privileged location amidst in a nature reserve laid out. Unfortunately already partially. A little worn or lack of care to see. Over lots of stairs (or golf carts) you got to the reasonable equipped rooms with a great view. Every day were monkeys to watch, which after opportunities for theft of edible were looking for. As mentioned above were irritating lots of small things, for example moldy/black mold on deckenbezügen on couches ... in the outdoor area (after much harder statement endlích savvy and exchanged), half broken lock, everywhere in the site were wäschesäcke with dreckzeug rum, and partly trash. Otherwise squeezed everything in the area of the pool on things are around. Clientele 50% russians, then uk and Scandinavia, some german. For children pool was available and an indoor nursery (good). Centara is a very nice hotel in the bay in a nature reserve only by boat or over the monkeytrail reachable is. (with fixed shoes, since levels very far apart are).
The view from the balcony is fantastic!
Unfortunately the rooms are for a 5 star hotel very run-down. The mini bar was in a closet in opening almost apart fell. Unfortunately was the image of fehrnsehers not good, after complaint came a technician, but the changed nothing of the bad picture.
The guests were from all possible nationalities, german in the minority. Lots of asians and russians.
With the ... hotel's own boat you could free of charge to ao nang drive (journey time about 8 minutes), you had to just sign in and then port again about 5 minutes with a taxi in town, as the port a little bit out of town is.
We ate lunch often a small something in the beach bar, food was delicious -price like in Germany!
The hotel is for relaxing very suitable, the guests well distributed in the bay. The view of the sea is great! For 4 days the hotel was perfect. read more

In short words great hotel,
Hotel in a botanical paradiesanlage, service especially in the restaurant area especially good and attentive. Kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, in comparison to places outside, not only cheap but also very tasty. Especially fish dishes and thai food are the a paradisiac atmosphere adjusted. The beach restaurant 'on the rocks' with the gigantic view' on the rock ' offers for every gaumengeschmack what. The entertainment also quite balanced on the menus. We were allowed with a show program an incredible feuerartisten admire. His presentation was incredible. Several dance performances and a fireworks we stayed ... in the dark and romantic beach atmosphere experienced, unique. Evenings, as well as during the day is the beach is comparable with the movie 'the beach'.
An only problem is that beach toilet which so much i could hear next year scrapped. But honestly, for use with sandy and wet bathing shoes is the reasonable.
Unbelievable high use by the hotel management and always present.

A very relaxing vacation in a fantastic located, between palm trees and rocks this hotel!
Some areas of the hotel are slightly in need of renovation but at the salty sea air and the constant sunlight is. All restaurants and bars leaves nothing to be desired. The staff are very accommodating and helpful.
Especially Jan, the manager of the f&b area which always around our well-tried, big praise deserved!
The rooms are really spacious and lovingly decorated, the room service, as well as laundry are very good. Always fresh flowers and even the christmas decoration was thought!
Also the hotel ... offers numerous excursions, as well as recreational and sports activities at.
Should be emphasized the nicely designed pool area with integrated jacuzzi and a small grotto.
The gardens are very well maintained and invited to stroll and lazing around.
Not to forget, the beach! Great sand and a fantastic view! The impulsante rock is definitely a photo value!
The next place with the hotel's own longtail boat shuttle which worked well or simply on foot on the monkey trail. This is a must, as it with the monkeys lots to see and discover!
Conclusion: an absolutely great holiday and definitely recommendable! read more

In the current time something natural to find, is really a rarity - what a great hotel!
Because of the exclusive location (privileged location amidst in the nature reserve) is the arrival a bit cumbersome (especially for older people to note!) However therefor you with a unique combination from nature in connection with dining rewarded.
The arrival to the hotel is only speedboat or the 'monkey trail' possible. This leads in 10-15 walk through the nature reserve, which the hotel surrounds.
In particular, the f&b area was very good organized and of high quality!
On the structural substance-in particular the ... toilets and the public premises (lobby-reading room) is still tuning - or action recognizable.
However we are just in Thailand - and not in Europa - so still okay! read more

Very nice hotel with the wonderful beach, private. Closed from the coity by mountains and sea. Only way to go tocity is by the boat or monkey trail in the mountins. Good for private relaxation, not for clubing. There are nice restaurants, wonderful beach and beautiful nature. read more

The location is fantastic. The complex even beautiful. The rooms are okay, although already a bit worn. The service acceptable. To emphasize only the food and beverage manager Jan, the extremely helpful and concerned is, a the stay to be of the highest quality.

We are happy, that we for this resort in Krabi decided.
Centara grand beach in Krabi uS on the way there the breath away. By the hotel's own speedboat we were at the resort. The check-in went to short walk away, with a movable footbridge, past the resort pool, smoothly. Especially the welcome drink and the cold towels, were necessary with the schwuelwarmen temperatures in August.
The booked room from the outset very good. The view was unique and the hot tub a from the start, inviting.
Our bed was with a floral heart decorated, the bathtub with blumenblueten, to ... step into prepared. The cake sweetened us a wonderful start.
Therefore the we booked half board had, we have the possibility had, all restaurants to test. Even if you half board bay, you get the opportunity from a selected à la carte menu to choose. We had nothing to fault in service and kitchen. A great choice served with a typical courteous thai service.
Also the breakfast buffet is particularly praiseworthy. For all tastes something to find.
Also the spa we have several times can enjoy. The appliances were a great conclusion of the particular day.
We are also twice the so-called monkeytrail, which the resort on foot with the place ao nang combines, run. Here again, it has to be said, that for older or the handicapped persons not is well suited. Nevertheless a great way, in order to nature and animals to enjoy. Also a great sunset we could here above each morning.
To the value for money we must say, that in the resort of course a bit more expensive, but you could understand, since everything with the boat angeschifft must be, since no street the resort combine does. As previously mentioned, we can the restaurants and the hotel bar, absolutely recommend.
At the end our stays we were even from the director was adopted, since this often the guests on the pier greeted and a good journey wishes. A guests, which to me very begruessten. Also its staff are very accommodating and help gladly, if you sometimes ask or need.

Have just got back from a weeks dream vacation back. What a nice hotel, located in a bay surrounded of mountains and right on the private beach. We enjoyed our time so much.
Clearly, the access to the hotel was only by sea or by foot on the so-called ' Monkeytrail ' possible but also that wasn't a problem. We felt always on time us on the boat and then everything is clear.
The food and the service was perfect. We were in every restaurant for dinner and we liked it always tasted good. The breakfast buffet was top and ... something for everyone.
We had a wonderful room with a sea view. Funny were the monkeys and every morning on the balcony visited. Just be careful that the door is, as the apes again and again attempted into the room to come.
We are definitely coming again! read more

We were 5 days in centara hotel and a very relaxing time I had. Jacuzzi on the terrace until the evening dinner al fresco, we have the comfort of the hotel used.
The hotel lives off of his tireless and very sovereign, German food & beverage director, the his guests the wishes of the eyes reads. As soon as only the 'touch' a problem showed up, the F&B director had a solution, the guest guaranteed content has provided. If only all hotels so competent staff would have! Generally we could us on the friendliness the 'good spirits' 't complain.
The ... rooms are huge and have a spectacular lake view. A shower ( Raindancer ), in which a half Fußballmannschft at the same time us showers can has very pleased.
Certainly, if you mistake searches, then one finds also which. We have searched no and not negative surprised. Finally one is in Thailand and not in the black forest.
We will definitely stay there again. read more
