Since our journey from november 2012 nothing, nothing but to negative changed. The formerly beautiful garden, almost klingsors enchanted garden after a radical land consolidation now on a golf course, we had already in november grim. That the boss, mrs hansen, not accountable, must stress once again. That leaves just to emphasize the absolute peace and security (!), which one can enjoy. Here in dahab is from the excited noise cairo's nothing to feel. The friendliness and willingness to help the 'local' (they are almost all from the nile delta) is proverbial. The german guests, because it is these especially ... at, like it excuse, if we the trinkgeldbereitschaft bitter criticize. It is simply an absurdity, those, the a vacation long for a clean room and an equally clean bathroom, with two or three coins of 10 or 20 cents us. Our room boy was 15 Euro in such coins, with the request, in notes exchange. It can't all german guests swabian principles adopted! read more

We stayed at the Swiss Inn a wonderful week spend. We had a clean room with flat screen and safe. With the all inclusive- food we were satisfied. The hotel has a very beautifully maintained garden- and pool area. The hotel's own sandy beach is very clean. Loungers with cushions are sufficiently available. The crystal clear sea water with 22 °c was for swimming very suitable. Possibilities to do water sports there were enough. A special thanks to the german hotel manager mrs. h. and your entire team. read more

The Swiss Inn has a very nice and well-kept garden area which us especially good pleased, in the port is the beautiful sandy beach. The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. Our room was large and with a view of the sea. A flat screen tv we had not, as i said in the review we read. In different places in the room needs to be repaired (door bathroom). The food was very diverse and good in terms of taste. We really liked it, all considered, the only which noticed to us, that we in the evening after the ... food, mostly alone in the beach bar our nightcap drank. It would have been nice, if a few other guests there would be, as the bar has a very nice atmosphere and if then in the background something music ran would be. The cosy, oriental music would have fit. We would not hesitate to stay in the Swiss Inn have a vacation. read more

    The staff was very friendly and eager to help. With the room cleaning we were not always satisfied. The ashtray is now much, there were still broken glass on the balcony and a new ash was not placed. On the day of arrival lay on the counter in the bathroom, 2 gästehandtüscher, after use were no more laid out. In other rooms should also bathrobes designed, not for us.

The Swiss Inn is a well-kept offering a clear view facilities at a beautiful sandy beach. The single-storey units grouping subtly around the front desk and service spaces as the centre. The garden and heated pool complete the picture. The rooms are different in size and amenities. Way too small are the wardrobes for 2 people in the double room. Bathroom without window. Stone floor. Beds very comfortable. Flat screen and safe. Luckily no towel animals;-) While we were there was the building according to the guest relations manager to 40% occupied, but for the pre-season is normal. If ... you also relaxed. However has us sense and purpose of the german guest relations manager in the hotel not developed. Polarization with guests is not good, especially then not, if you like the opinion is, that with the current president in Egypt iranian conditions arise. It will the hotel not full, and our mood not better. The remaining staff are very motivated, polite and nice. The selection of dishes varied and the quality was good. Unfortunately is the area around the wonderful lagoon quite trashy and nobody feels responsible for the waste enough. In my opinion, but one should the hotels more responsibility. Finally, the yes also from this pretty environment as a tourism hot spot lots of guests attracts. Kite surfers and surfers can wind their sail flies. Tip: Definitely evenings by dahab strolling. We are now already for the 2. time within a short time, because we liked so much. We had a beautiful front desk, again our room and a nice friendly service, starting with the manager mrs hansen to the beach boy. Food was again varied and tasted excellent. We will definitely be back soon! read more

A very nice, well maintained hotel - rooms are no more on the newest conditions, however everything is clean kept. The food is magnificent and diverse, salads are sufficiently available and for kuchenfreunde is also everything there. Staff and management are very friendly. Here you can feel very comfortable. To the next district masbat are only 2-3 kilometer, by taxi or hotel bus always reachable (10 egyptian pound). We really enjoyed it! read more

A wonderful hotel to enjoy and relax. Altogether we were with our children (3 and 4 years) 3 weeks to guest and had the kind child care also a bit of time to us. The beach is clean and tidy, the service always friendly. Of the staff was in general efficient and discreet. I have no importunities above all opposite female guests seen, as i have in other hotels experienced. For questions and problems was always immediately and competent helped. The complex is as already mentioned somewhat older, however in very good condition. A beautiful garden, which as we learned ... with the clarified sewage is irrigated. The rooms are always clean been, the often criticized old bathrooms we found by far not so objectionable as some described. They were clean, they had at all times warm water available, towels were on request every day changed. A little fragile silicone should good impression of the hotel not to diminish. For families i can however only recommend two rooms to book, as it for the four of us in the evening but a bit cramped was. For two people they are very spacious. The food was varied and always tasted good. A wide selection of cold and warm dishes. Everything was apparently directly freshly in the hotel prepared, even the bread is baked and get to the german brotstandard well ran \u263a every evening freshly prepared desserts and cakes generously arranged and have just delicious tasty. In the entire time neither of us had any problems with the stomach or digestion and that wants which is called for Egypt. A special thanks at ekramy, for his wonderful service and the liebvolle service of our children. Apart from that comes the hotel without large animation from, what us as ruheuhe searching very accommodating. At the beach there are a selection of diving and surf schools you can glass boat, which with children is very recommendable. We have been for the 7. time in dahab in the Swiss Inn for the 6. time, about 90 kilometers away or 1 hour's drive from Sharm el Sheik airport. In our opinion the most beautiful hotel in dahab, in particular the design the entire area in the two-story ' beduinenstil ', as well as the well-maintained garden area, a botanical garden resembles. The 'atmosphere' makes the difference. Many agents are in the maintenance of good standards tried hard. There is newer installations, but by the permamente maintenance and renovations you can see the hotel didn't make the age. It ... was for example the beach bar before 2-3 years completely renewed, which we thought was very good wish to call. As next the furniture/bathroom then go \u263a Chef Mohamed -small but fine - presented with his team again and again excellent food. The service is always friendly and courteous, also often to späs presented. The right on the hotel located wonderful sandy beach invites you to enjoy the sun-there are chairs and covers in sufficient numbers available included towel service. There are also possibilities to the diving, windsurfing, glass bottom boat, etc. - we were in the snorkeling limited. Directly in bathing area here you will have a variety of different fish rewarded. Those who do many would like, can for example about minutes for napoleonriff and in the underwater world dip or snorkeling excursion participate. In january recommends for not so warm days but a wetsuit (just enough). Water temperature currently 23 degrees c. Small drawback: currently were lots of russians in the hotel, not all very friendly in handling were. The pool was in the first days not heated (delivery problems diesel), in the days but again to 27 degrees heated. In short: we will come again. read more

The full picture of the hotel has opposite recent years improved. There are details, the everyone else does. For me it was noticably better. The staff are altogether hard and recognize regular guests again. Due to the current political situation the hotel is of course not fully booked. Although only some rooms were occupied, was when booking to an early conclusion of the reservation together. The situation in dahab was rather quiet, hardly something going on. There are clearly more controls the police there. Noticeable is strengthening of the staff at. Dahab is for divers and water sports enthusiasts still ... a top spot. Just fancy: you are standing at the legendary 'blue hole' and are alone. Unfortunately and yet somehow nice. read more

The associated diving school offers for the unterwasserfreund everything your heart desires, it is exemplary, verantworungs -and environmentally friendly. Management is very focused on the wellbeing of the guests and adopted, as i in my 3. vacation in Swiss Inn can see, constantly improvements and changes in the facilities of the hotel for. The hotel is mostly from german, swiss and austrian guests. In the hotel english was spoken well, german knowledge was sufficient. A very pleasant family hotel with about 160 rooms, very tidy and clean. Bookable is all-inclusive as well as half board. The hotel is mainly visited by german, austrian, swiss but also from russians, whose share with about 35 rooms. By the way there was the guests no complaints! The average age of the guests in about 45 years are. A downer for all of the regular guests: the earlier paradisiac garden, ample and in its diversity always a new joy is a 'land consolidation' fallen prey. Stockrosen ade, mimosenbäume ade and pomegranate ade! It's not determine, who this dumbing ... down to responsibility. Safe is only, that the new boss, mrs hanse, was not. read more

    The rooms - we had rooms in the rear area (garden ), aren't very big but nevertheless more than enough. The guest can choose between french bed and two separate beds. Are available a new, spacious fridge (mini bar), a flat screen tv, a safe, a seating area, a floodlights and various storage space. The closet was unfortunately quite cramped. But still this little drawback is the overall impression not detract from our stay. The balcony offers a table with two chairs/armchairs. The bathroom is not huge but very useful. Huge storage space delight as well as the hair dryer or the bathtub. So that everything always clean is, as i have already mentioned.

    Next to the main restaurant, the 'tent', (so it is called), the guest the pool restaurant and the spacious beach bar there. The breakfast in the main restaurant and on the terrace is really rich and, for example, dishes with fresh natural yoghurt with bircher muesli and fruit salad. In addition cakes full! The main restaurant offers evening in the weekly change a vast diversity of european and arabic dishes. The lush salad buffet and great pool. But also fresh fruit, bowls full pomegranades or full physalis ( harankasch ) are only as an example mentioned. Daily pasta before the eyes of the guest, and to its special wishes. The children by a private kids buffet! Of course with fries! The beverage prices are still moderate: a 0.5 liter bottle of sakkara- goldbier costs 30 pounds, a 'Swiss-inn kaffee' 18 pounds. Wine of a very good quality with 180 to 220 pounds for 0.7 liter to estimate. One should give tip after swabian standards limited. At least 5% of the travel price were the central european visitors well to face. The hotel has a tip box in the hall set up. The content at all of the staff, thus also the invisible spirits about the laundry distributed. The restaurant is clean. Falls once something on the soil, it was immediately wiped off.     The hotel staff is without exception very friendly and accommodating. This applies to all the guest real spaces. From the room boy to the chef, from the gardener to the staff the front desk. The rooms are always (!) Extremely clean. Quite right, what room boy cleaned and really regardless of the baksheesh! Very friendly and accomodating the waiters in the restaurants. You can everywhere dazzling with english help, partly even german was understood and spoken. In case of any problems acts as the german gästebetreuerin, mrs consolation-abd al wahid. What always the guest has, it helps reliable and above all quick. This also applies for the convey the vertragsarztes and/or the way excellent dental practitioners! Positively noticeable the new management of the hotel by mrs hansen, a specialist with international experience and good knowledge of the arabic language.

    The beach is with a sufficient number of sun loungers. There is no compulsion, in all early to reserve a beach chair with towels to 'reserve'. That this happens, is, surprise this, to a specific german quirk zurückzufühern. Apparently ineradicable. The beach has two showers and changing rooms, as well as a toilet. The seating area was the most heated (!) - not heated and so cold - pool is just as completely sufficient.

    From the airport sharm al sheikh the hotel you reach in about an hour. The hotel is about 3 kilometer secluded from main town in the middle a by a mole protected bay. It has direct access to the beach without intervening road! Shopping possibilities for food, there were several within 500 metres distance. The hotel's gift shop also offers personal hygiene necessities. If this is not enough, the can with the bus for 5 pound to the center of dahab, where on a length of almost 2 kilometer shops and restaurants concatenate. Also, the gazelle, a huge supermarket. In the hotel itself there is the heavens no animation. Except for a dance on sunday peace! Excursions from the travel agents depending on the political situation were offered.

In december 2012 we were for one week in Swiss Inn accommodated. There, we felt very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, there was an easy going atmosphere under the staff, as well as with the guests. The hotel tourismusmanagerin Birgit had for all of the guest an ear to lend and gave us important instruction. The food was magnificent and diverse. Evening entertainment was usually only until 22:00 o'clock instead, which we felt as pleasant. The beach was clean and maintained, as well as the whole complex. Gehandikapten people everywhere help, is it at the buffet ... or in the whole complex, everywhere came the staff to you to help. One recognizes the facilities and materials of the hotel, that it was a high quality and much of it is lost. The staff are attentive and the food was very diverse and well, but it repeated a lot, so you after a week gladly again home runs. We had 'all inclusive' in the hope that all covered to have. Before you order but you have to check, whether the really these include, as a decent coffee/espresso /Cappuccino there is only as a part of 'all inclusive'in the bar to drink and not in the restaurant; since it costs something. In ... the restaurant there is only beer, water and wine in the glass for 'all inclusive' to drink. Wanna before dinner drink you must go to the bar and there is also between cocktails for 'all inclusive' guests and paying guests. You get very modest before, the highest standard to have bought and then still 'second-hand guest' to be. Breakfast and lunch one could not in the open to take, since plenty of flies were there, so at the beach on the couch, that you constantly with the t-shirt the flies pass had. Vacation without fliegenpatsche is not possible. Was not up to us, because we are not washed could, all hotel guests had the same problem. If it darkly was the mosquitos, that you you in the bar not without vollbekleidung including socks have stopped. Applies for the room the mosquitoes through all cracks their way found. Was comfortable but also a problem this hotel, because guests other hotels daraufangesprochen had this problem not. This was a point of the quality our vacation strongly impaired has. In addition the following comments: We had all-inclusive, room with seaside and were already several times in this hotel, a very long- Take, informal atmosphere offers. Pool we didn't use, because we the sea prefer. The bathroom should be noted, that the size was ok, but the rooms with seaside urgently to be renovated. This concerns the whole wet room, included tiles and orders. At the present time- Point it is value for money unfortunately not more. The tv-device for the rooms on the seaside are also exchange, with flat screens. Reception quality is improved, possibly through new wiring or ... new antenna. With the question about the activities not applicable in our opinion Tennis, for windsurfing, diving, snorkeling, and Otherwise. Water sports. To the issue beach: lovely and suitable for this country, the beach/sun screens, with Palm leaves are covered and enough protection (no continuous, flat Rimini-roofs). Schirmabstand is ok. After our experiences in sharm we were in the Swiss Inn in dahab surprised - positively surprised. The room was for two persons sufficiently, although not overly, large and clean. Furniture and equipment was outdated, but functional - particularly the tv should be replaced! The buffet when tomorrow and dinner was varied and plentiful and well cooked! The staff, from the director the staff was friendly, willing to help and courteous (even without standing trinkgeldnachschuss ). Very positive experience have also the guests -all very friendly and decent (the russians). Sure, it was over christmas rather quiet, the hotel not ... fully booked - in the peak season is probably more lively. read more
