Since 07-09-2012 the hotel is closed, in the first September week was had electricity blackouts and water shortage at the order of the day, the last days before closing of the hotel there was no running water and no electricity. read more

We (48 J, 48 J, 21 years) were from 21 July to 11 August for three weeks in carnelia beach resort. Selected we had the hotel, because in carnelia. De diving wanted to go to. During the three weeks we had a week with about 20 guests, a with about 50 guests and almost fully booked hotel. Except for a few exceptions were the too many Italian guests. The volume and the engangement the entertainment nahm with the number of guests to, was however for us usually bearable. If there by the pool times too narrow or too loud was ..., there was the possibility at the beach to evade. Because we regularly outside of the complex to the diving ( the diving station carnelia. De we can unreservedly recommend!) were, it was for us reasonable. The hotel and the rooms were clean, the staff always friendly and helpful. We were very happy with the food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always very tasty, the selection was, of course, with the number of guests together - but also with less guests there was always something, which we liked. Not there yet the possibility itself fresh pasta ( the was also very good) to order. The selection of drinks was not always completely, for example was red wine not always -in the short term was also times Cola all. We can introduce ourselves very well book this hotel again and would recommend it for divers definitely recommendable. read more

We are now two years once again in Carnelia defendendo (in sum for the third time). Of the crisis in Egypt we have nothing at all get. The hotel is clearly in Aufwärtstend. We are divers, had booked all inclusive and also no complaints whatsoever full. The buffet was early and for lunch and evenings plentifully filled. Unfortunately for us too were not so many guests ( about 10 to 20), but it will hopefully soon change. Absolute sharpened the is just about 5 to 10 minutes removed diving station from diving. De. One under German leadership standing basis in ... the it at nothing was missing. Diving there is also in windy weather possible, as in a protected Bay. For tourist the a beach vacation plan, this is rather nothing. A beautiful Stood there this hotel not. The best from the pier of the diving base into the water are cracked. To put it briefly and concisely to formulate, the hotel has a large problem: no guests! We were during our stay maximum 10 persons, this corresponds to a load of 3%. Clearly, the fact that there the service on the absolute Minimum service is shutting down. There was no all inclusive Buffent, the food mostly consisted of chicken with rice, unless, you expressly for something other asked. Drinks were rather meagerly available, one day even went the coke. I would like to add, that the staff (which reportedly already some time not been paid), always friendly and helpful and can ... done has, US a nice stay to ready. Unfortunately, the under these conditions as good as impossible. With clear conscience I can this hotel actually only be recommend, the neither on a rich buffet still on intensive social contacts value. To mention unnecessarily, that animation or the like not found. Add a brief note at the end: the pool was some even colder than the neighboring sea and therefore not usable. This is changing, I hope, with the rising temperatures. read more

With great pleasure I had in Carnelia booked again, a great hotel with everything you could want: great food, nice atmosphere, beautiful pool and a great room so I knew this hotel what I now but experienced everything was other. only 10 guests in the whole hotel were the rooms probably not cleaned and the last sand storm was only 3 days (the according to the staff ). All inclusive was booked but not delivered. Fault of all was the revolution but in the hotels in the neighborhood one did not have problems more. Really important! The hotel is in ... the normal operation a great complex but at the moment you have to smart make, whether it runs. I wish the hotel was good and it again on the feet comes. read more

Introdution: we booked the hotel because of the nearby diving station with its very beautiful reef nearby selected areas and here we are with our choice absolutely right. The hotel itself however, you can only be described as adequate. The rooms were okay. And the food enjoyable. Overall the complex a bit scruffy and this tendency was underlined by a double occupancy with only about 20 guests. The regular evening the entertainers at the karaoke evening seemed almost to participate in this context surreal, but not really annoying. Annoying two things: the Nocturnal attacks and the gnats around-the-o'clock-Thunder of the ... diesel generator. In spite of everything, you can stay in the hotel for very little money in largely clean rooms, sleep and get enough to eat and drink-what does the diver's heart more from a hotel. read more

I have stayed in 2010 December here (about 60 guests), because everything was still green and the world reasonable. Now that is different! We were about 15 guests and daily basis more, less back immediately, because new guests have immediately altered. We had several power outages, which I not at all knew, it was of course the water way. read more

    Very difficult to assess. It was in any case dusty, the furnishing but well, 2 large beds. lighting at night rather dark. the shower was a disaster, one had always fear, the lever of mixing battery demolishing, either came the water roasting or freezing, a mediocre to find difficult. The pressure constantly changed and on the last morning, no water more out. hair dryer, safe, tv, telephone, mini bar available, the latter was our penultimate day filled. we had a room on the first floor, Balkonbrüstungen are very low (about 50 centimeters), with children not recommendable.

    pool very nice and clean, unfortunately not heated, and since it the first days was very windy, it was too cold! Animators there were 3, the were very hard, the few guests to keep you entertained, partly bored, but nevertheless never were importunate. the best was the beach, to the you approximately 400 meters walk, you is however always Dreedle welcome, there are tea and filter coffee and plenty of opportunities to sit including a hammock!

    the hotel lies circa 20 kilometer behind El Qusier , from the airport Marsa Alam it would only about 1 hour transfer time been, but somehow are currently only flights to Hurghada and the words 3 hours transfer! Next door is the same akassia Swiss apart from that is only desert and sea, for relaxing actually optimally. Next to the entrance of the hotel are 3-4 shops, we only briefly looked over... can one forget!

    We found the location was absolutely ingenious. No annoying markets and no loud neighboring hotels. the nearby riff is very recommendable. the gardeners were always make an effort and during our stay happened on the complex quite much.

The hotel was only weak occupied. Despite the few guests have all tried very hard. We were able to order food to order everything was very tasty and above all, it was always hot. Our room was always cleaned and early with the usual towel Fieguren decorated. The hotel manager was asked several times if we wanted and besonnderes evening program was very hard. For divers is of course the best that great Reef and nearby the great level of diving. De. Altogether it is very sad to see that so few guests the hotel booked. Unrest one has nothing ... with. Finally, the hotel is well located 600 kilometer away from Cairo. Conclusion. Basic, somewhat dated hotel with very nice staff. read more

I had the impression, that cleanliness, as you may expect, in the entire hotel (rooms, restaurant, outdoor) no value is placed. It seemed to be local standards. The staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly to those who travel alone women. I thought the food was not good, but was still certainly edible. The condition of the area is not the best impression. But it's been renovated. Without the adjoining diving under German management with their great service would probably hardly a guest in this hotel. About 90% of the guests were to my travel time divers. But if we ... do not alter, have all announced repeat offender, not to return. It would be a real shame for the leisure time facilities at the hotel. read more

This was our first time in Egypt and after five this hotel probably the last, it was amazing the worst. We would not recommend this hotel. Hotel is very run down. Although it is located on the sea front but in a desert, where far and wide nothing is. On the beach are bathing shoes are recommended and only you can swim there anyway not really, you have to go into the deep, because everywhere coral was for us very good snorkeling former, but if you're just looking for the swim was old, had fun in the pool, where the ... music of the eardrum has beaten. Food in the restaurant there was always the same and very overcooked, you can not eat. Drinks were only served in plastic cups, if one wanted a bottle, it was the only for a fee. That is when all inclusive booking. Bugs in the room. And everything was only in Italian. As a German you didn't notice them. The music very loud by the pool. Animation only on Italian. Hello, we wanted a 'reasonable' beautiful divers/snorkel in the spring break vacation. We got it and it was better than we thought. We were eight times and have seen a lot. The diving and snorkeling was great. The diving school was very good and all were very friendly. You can walk into the sea even if it is very windy, since the jetty is located in a bay. We did not even in a five stars hotel! The food was okay. We are not starved and there was always something for us. None of us had intestinal problems, we also ... have never experienced anything like that! Rooms were okay, but could have been cleaner. But for the price we didn't expect anything more. The pool was clean and fully in order. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We have always supported. The entertainers were always involved and German or English gespr nevertheless. Our son had fun ☺ In short, we had a very nice vacation and would make things up! read more

If you are looking for a good diving school, with the Carn ELIA diving center well advised. The reef is great nearby, including night diving courses are offered, boat and bus tours to other beautiful diving areas. When we had a wish is received and if you are looking for more than 30 diving course has, does not need a guide. To the hotel: food was sufficient, no one had to starve. But a culinary delights it was not. The gebaude broeckelt the cleaner and it is getting old. It should really be renovated. This was a vacation to cure. Have stayed more often vacation in Egypt, but this hotel was by far the worst we'd absolutely have ever experienced. Unfriendly staff, dirty and decayed area total, toilets on the beach is an absolute impertinence, change at the food a foreign word (2 weeks of the same food, for breakfast there was a type of sausage and a sort of jam), travel guide of Neckermann seen once and then never again, despite repeated calls. One can only further recommend this hotel, unless you want to scuba diving and the rest is really only a ... matter and, above all, one should speak Italian, then one was also treated friendly, as a German you got along very excluded before. read more

A hotel, which I would recommend anyone. Menu limited and low, a foreign word hot food; never fresh bread or bread rolls from the day before but more than enough over there. The same dessert often served two days in a row. Fruit? It apparently only bananas in Egypt. In the room except for changing nothing else happens. Front desk-Hotel card and subsequent Empfangshaalen sink into the dirt and dust. German speaking staff more than poor. Complaints were received but at the lowest level of the ordinary solved or dismissed or ignored. Highly recommended for diving. As it can be annoying aucher if you only have to go to the jetty to get into the water, because over the reef roof was absolutely taboo and is not allowed.
