hello friends I was again in this year's happy live resort (marsa alam) it is a beautiful hote directly on the beach the staff are friendly and the rooms are very clean when I am there I feel at home I highly recommend it ..... just great and I miss all there it deserves more than 4 stars hereby many greetings to the staff ... this was one of my best vacations I have ever had. Hotel is a small resort with 10 buildings for room - each buildinh has 2 floor - ground floor and 1. floor - from 1. floor you can see a sea, to ground floor you can go directly. both are good. Areal has very nice garden, 3 swimming pools - 1 for children, 1 hot, 1 cold, pool bar, bar at swimming pool, apotheke, doctor, a few shops (3, but for suveniers is inaf), disco. Around the areal is nothing. I recomend this resort for people, wich prefer a piece and relax - there is no possibilties for walking or ... shopping. The beach is not for old person or children - there is a mole/marina - and wonderfull see, the most butifall I have seen. We saw delphins, one miloion fishes, rays, turtless. for snorkeling is fantastic, for just swimming is it not so good. The food were excellent, many of vegetables and fruits, meat and fish every day, lots of sweets. And you can every time find something for you. There are also animations, wich are really friendly, and making good work - they are not intrusiv, that we appreciated. read hotel review

Construction zimmerausblick, from 07,00 baggerlärm. Despite all inclusive in the lobby-bar pay immediatly. Only protest the tour guide with the threat of change solved at least for this problem. The grounds are worn and dirty. The joints in the dining room moldy as the files of the umbrellas. Steps and railings were loose. Plaster crumbled everywhere, pool chairs and windbrecher are in resolution. This interested but no. At the bars there were times one day long no limo or Cola, alcoholic beverages are not refillable. Currency exchange at the front desk is not there no money. I after 4 ... days resigned. Only the friendly waiters hold the flag a little high, the room cleaning was good. Diem sepezialitätenrestaurants are closed. I have not seen where so many people do nothing. Here should Holiday-check times test. We stayed over the christmas season 2 weeks in the hotel and can only good things to say. It is a very nice facility, with a heated main pool included 3 slides and pool bar. The food was varied and very good. Different meat and fish sorts were almost every evening before the eyes of the guests fresh. Vegetables, fruit, salads all fresh and delicious. Room very good and clean, the mattresses are a bit hard, but with complaint immediately exchanged. Very nice staff, especially at the pool bar. We come back with security. read hotel review

    The hotel is located in the middle of the desert. Ideal for a quiet beach holiday. The transfer from the airport Marsa Alam took us about 30 minutes from the great reef can be reached via a short pier.

    Great location, close to the airport. Shopping is available in the hotel, on the beach and in port ghalip possible, souvenirs to get. Thus completely sufficiently. The wellnessabteilung, oh well, the sauna is a 3 person sauna in a room, as the jacuzzi. The gym looked pitifully from, therefore i did not visited. The massages were technically well executed, the rooms could have been a little nice decorated and cleaner and the towels were after the massage not replaced! A large NO GO here! The hotel was poorly occupied despite week, guess about 50-60 ... people - mainly divers and their families. The food was ok, due to the poor occupancy was the grill but often already 1 hour before official meal end switched off, so that there then only finished - maybe you prefer the time should be lowered! The resort offers an all-inclusive one gets at the beginning of a bottle of water which one then itself to fill. Before 7:00 and 23:00 this was unfortunately not possible! read hotel review

    There was the main restaurant and an italian (not tried), a lobby bar (not used), a pool bar and a beach bar. Theoretically me there was apparently also a fruit and ice bar are, but it was too.     Everything very mixed. The zimmerputzservice was great, and had every day a great hand towel animal built! The drinks were some fast and some not at all. Many is missing the attention if trash layed out, tables wiped and empty plates. And the pool bar the service was great! The management was tried complaints to clarify. Repairs were despite an indication of the front desk to the last day not done (broken lamp, locked safe). The hotel doctor was young, but very competent and tried hard! Without english it would be partly difficult to communicate.

    The entertainment was very hard, it was too silly. But the other seems to have. Directly at the hotel there was the lagoon divers diving center - absolutely great! Very helpful staff, very professional training. Individual care. Beach chairs were in order, towels and change somewhat difficult...     The beach was beautiful, of course as it is usually in Egypt not ideal for swimming by the reef. A jetty at the end of the reef, here you can swim well, fantastic snorkeling and also directly great dive! From the Marsa Alam Airport it was only ~20 minutes - if you Hurghada must is about 3 hours by bus! To the right and left of the hotel is nothing. Marsa Alam city is approximately 30 minutes away by taxi.

Slovaks, germans and egyptians were the mostly convention /. It was at any time a space on the plant developed for all guests sufficient beach chairs and towels were available. The whole area seemed in the entire seen very friendly and generous, but is the cleaning in several areas unfortunately only superficially or not available.     The size of the room met our expectations. I think the room with 2 people completely occupied and an extra bed possible, but the area it fully. Our reception in the gastronomy area was very nice and we got everything explained and showed how this works. This was a very pleasant and friendly staff in the dining room on some nights as a hall worked and very smokey was by the fresh grill of the food.

    We were very nice in all areas and we could easily communicate in english. Also some of the staff spoke german at the reception, as well as the good german speaking instructors. We had except for the noisy air conditioning not to modify no complaints. The room cleaning was superficially okay.

    Entertainment was by the 2 ladies day hard but not really very motivating and the masters of the animation made only for activities and entertainment. The pool was generously arranged and there were here, as well as on the beach sufficient beach chairs, cushions, as well as towels available. The also very fast and nice were brought.     The hotel is about 25 minutes from Marsa Alam Airport and 20. minutes port ghalib away. The proximity to other hotels is not. Hilton 3 kilometer and Concorde 1,5 kilometer are the neighbor hotels. Own reef where sharks, morays and turtles sighting could be. Also, we had 3 days saw dolphins. It recommends a equipment with fins for inexperienced swimmers. Dolmuş can be used but the hotel is located on a side street and therefore had little traffic it is not to say as regularly this wrong.     The air conditioning system didn't get maintained. It smells in the rooms of manure or it comes to water damage in the wall. The room service puztzt daily the rooms. The tv in the rooms has seldom good front desk of german channels (RTL II, ZDF). Mostly is the front desk so bad, that you at the front desk had to complain. Then it worked briefly again, but after a few hours it worked again.

    The service staff was very friendly. But sometimes they just didn't understand. Missing german and even english! The rooms were cleaned daily. Our complaints were initially somewhat seriously. But later we were just ignored. A doctor was on site and speaks english.

    From the airport you drove 45 minutes to the hotel. The beach is right next to the hotel (no a 2 minutes' walk). Shopping there is almost not. 5 junk shops are in the hotel. In the hotel disco was also nothing going on. Public means of transport gives it not. You can only in the hotel or book an excursion at the travel agent.

The hotel consists of 10 apartment buildings (5 left and 5 right of the pools each with 24 rooms, the main building, the two theme restaurants. And the spar what a small disco is located. A theater there was not so the evening entertainment at the pool was made. The plant is quite large and made a clean impression. Some guests had mice complained.     The rooms are large enough also for three persons. We had luck and were in building 6 accommodation located directly on the beach. The air-conditioning was quiet and really well. The beds are very hard. Under the mattress is no metal, but a board. True me but rather than too soft. There is a tv but the two german channels ZDF and RTL 2 Switzerland were actually nearly always fancy. There is a safe and a minibar but without drinks. What to do with a mini bar without which inside is? The bathroom with a shower (if you closed the curtain showering you in the dark, as there is no lamp is), a rectangular bidet and a square toilet furnished (looks nice but sch. Uncomfortable). There is a hairdryer and an outlet at the sink. Only with the room cleaning (here was only before the zimmerübergabe dusted and windows cleaned) were we not completely satisfied.

    There was a main restaurant in the main building, two topics restaurants between the pool and beach (only in the evening) and a snack bar at the pool bar. But the food was always so good, that during our time no the theme used. The breakfast was for Egypt typically always the same. What i but especially liked was the coffee maker where you according to the taste of coffee the coffee was. Also worth noting was the three toaster. You could after flushing the remaining frühstücksteile, their coffee at the machines and the omelet line. Then one needed only to wait. We had already considered the toast in the sun on ;-). The rest of the meals were very varied, well seasoned and were partly suburb prepared. For, the food actually 6 stars but although the hotel in my opinion not even half occupied was, have very often plates and cups missing. Starting from the 2 week are partly the drinks ran out.

    To the pools: there is a quiet pool and an action pool where the slides and the pool bar is. In between is the children's pool. Around these pools is a circa 1.7 wide canal with slight current (orbiting without kick about 20 minutes) good to the dümpeln on the air mattress. Around to the pools to come one must over bridges, unfortunately partly quite slippery. The pool area was very nicely laid out and the three slides really funny but in my opinion it has two flaws. 1. there is no showers and 2. no toilets in the pool area. Man must either to the theme restaurants (expecting that probably none because the toilets only rarely light and no window) or go to the room. If the action pool think there is still a 3. possibility. At the pool you could almost never the soil at 1.6 metres. Beach chairs and umbrellas true even after 9 hours always available. Only for the towels you had to several times to wait. The entertainment was friendly and not too pushy. We had a lot of fun with them. At the child care center (in the kids club, the kids just in front of the television set, because the supervisor only in english).

    The hotel is' only about 15 minutes away from the airport but in the hotel didn't bother us. The hotel lies lonely in the desert. The disco was only avail on purpose open. You should so before a group find by stretching to celebrate wants, otherwise you will be there alone. Beach there is actually not. It is rather a large brown korallenblock. The sea it only enter via a jetty. For those seeking relaxation (as my wife) recommended, for divers (like me) rather not recommendable. The basis with its hidden charges is ridiculously expensive and the performance (i was up to now in 8 different bases and about 150 dive in the red sea) is the worst until now Egypt. Wo wants to dive should look for another hotel.

    The rooms were the best and very recommendable, which size and furnishing concern. But there were some flaws, which were not turned off. Hair dryer broken, telephone defective, electrical plug to the part. Broken, it loses the rooms at sun.

Hotel is from the size the compact framework, very symmetrically arranged. From the guest structure was mainly german-speaking guests were present.     I had a room in the southern part of the plant in the first stick, to the construction of the hotel. Functional furnished room with balcony and with a partial view of the sea and the construction site. Noise from the construction site, for me was not available, since the operation mostly rested. I was with the equipment and functionality of the room very pleased, a quiet air conditioning, good tv reception, all switches worked, water pressure sufficient and temperatures well adjustable, comfortable bed. A bit more light in the bathroom, especially if you are in the shower, would be desirable.

    There is a theme restaurant, but during my entire stay was closed. The main restaurant is located in the upper area and is a carelessly dining hall, neonhell lit. Of course you can not an atmosphere as the nice little italian restaurant around the corner,, but with something structural change, hundreds of guests in a pleasant atmosphere restauarant. I was in Egypt in 8. other hotels of similar price range and there was the food qualitatively much better. It would also have been beautiful, if the offered dishes could have been labeled. (so you had to guess, what you to offered got) i always found something and somehow full, but the expected te in the vacation actually does not the goal. In the first days was the coffee machine and you had to with instant coffee exp. Next to soft drinks, there was a fruit juice, or i would painted sugared water say, more inedible! But it was especially negatively noticed, there is outside of the restaurant times, at the pool, or on the beach, no possibilities somewhat to it-sen. There are only a few dried croissants and a few apples rum. Around 17 hours at the pool bar omelet, but that was the only possibility to have something warm to eat. Which you do not often enough can say, or some seem still not to know: in Egypt you should never only water from the tap drink, also not, for its tablet so that down to flush. In the first days one should everything not boiled is, salad or ice in drinks avoid! Who is thus problem with the stomach wants to spare, of which stay away.

    The sport possibilities i can say little, i was mostly in the diving. The diving base locally one can recommend, the price is higher, than for example in the region Hurghada. Of entertainment during the day i didn't see it, in the evening for the guest no show or other entertainment from the animation team. The pool area was actually very nice, with a lazy river around the pool. Of course there are always potential to above, whoever would like more, have a aquapark drives. About the water quality of the pools unfortunately i cannot say anything, i fly not thousands of kilometres around in a pool to swim in. Relatively narrow stretch of beach, the access to the sea is about a narrow range and there are beach shoes urgently recommended. With the footbridge you could the open sea with a ladder reach, only you have to pay in the region Marsa Alam often with strong wind count (particularly in the winter and spring), the access via the jetty not possible (red flag)

    The hotel is 20 minutes south of Marsa Alam Airport. Outside of the hotel there was only desert and a construction site right next to the hotel area. There is no shopping opportunities or possibilities to walk outside of the hotel. The next possibility to buy something is the resort of port ghalib, the near the airport is. I was the isolated location didn't bother us and it was also in the catalog familiar. In some evaluations of other user, disturbed the quiet drain in the hotel. Love party people, this is not mallorca, or Mykonos, whoever wants to party, you should go somewhere else, this should actually only with the study of the catalog, or a glance at the map will be clarified.

    The rooms have the normal standard size, are so big enough. A coffee maker or at least a a water kettle, there was unfortunately not. My room had balcony, was directly at the beach and i had a beautiful view of the sea. The condition i would say than in order. Here is cleaned every day. The windows but properly cleaned. There was also a minibar not, a refrigerator is available. The bathroom is also big enough and had a bath with a shower curtain, also a well-functioning hair dryer. Of course, there were also here the obligatory hand towel figures.

    There is a dining room, in which all meals were eaten, this dining room but little charm, is almost a cafeteria. It is mostly noisy and was uncomfortable.     As in many of these hotels there is an animation team, which tried to entertain the guests. They are regularly by the pool and beach and ask for, they are not pushy, a clear 'no' and they leave you in peace. The beach seemed neglected on me, really inviting it looked as not from. If you fine sandy beach expected will be disappointed. In the sea one arrives over a footbridge, it opens up a ladder into the sea or you moves just down. Here you have the possibility to snorkel and you can things to discover, so came to my time in addition to the usual rotmeerbewohnern always again turtles, dolphins, eagle rays, and even small weißspitzenriffhaie past. I had the misfortune, that my time was very windy, and often the black flag was blowing, then is the snorkeling was not possible.     The hotel is located as many other hotels in Marsa Alam directly at the beach, there is a small store in the hotel, a wide selection there is however not. For shopping you had to port ghalip drive, a taxi one can at the front desk order, costs however also 30 Euro. A shuttle bus like in other hotels there are unfortunately not. To the airport it was only about 30 minutes, depending on how many other hotels were on the route. Night life is as good as non-existent, the pool bar is until 23 o'clock open. Who real nightlife expected will be disappointed and should better after Hurghada or Sharm el Sheikh flies. Those who seek peace and quiet you shall find it here. Excursions such as Luxor you can with the travel guide book.

My daughter and me were and was pleasantly surprised. Many german tourists with children, but the slide area is not at all by staff protected. This has my child was injured. And the doctor was very nice, but also very expensive. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and fond of children. For relaxation highly recommended. Great reef for snorkeling. Otherwise you should just know, the one in the middle in the desert and no evening possibilities for shopping or just strolling. Food was varied and something there for everyone. read hotel review
