The complex is really nice and you could reach everything very fast. The staff is very attentive. Unfortunately the entertainment not particulary good. They have actually no desire and there were a bummer (can not even Volleyball play) a shame!
Had before Nile-cruise made. Was great. read more

The happy life resort only about two years ago opened does not, the it is new! In many details can be recognized that the hotel not really new! We stayed there so mulated: the egyptians before 5000 years were better craftsman!
Nevertheless the hotel is all together seen very recommendable! It offers everything what the vacationer need in absolute peace your vacation to enjoy! There is for example almost no harassment at the beach, apart from the staff from the wellness area tried customers to get! Compared with for instance Tunisia, where all couple minutes cameleer dropping, all couple minutes ... with jewelry and so on in the happy life resort but no such disturbances!
Who this hotel bay must definitely know it in the immediate area absolutely nothing there is! There is this hotel, the sea and the desert, nothing else!

As at the end of a Nile-cruise the hotel was excellent. Direct location on the hotel reef, super for snorkelling. The rooms are very spacious and with sea or pool view. The hotel is very well-kept, the pools are partly heated, the slides make not only the children fun. The entertainment team is great, fun and not intrusive. We had a lot of fun. The trumpets was a fun change, even if he not always the tone was. The only negative point i can only the limited number of wi-fi internet accesses (5 people) to call. The spa is great. ... The hotel makes at first sight a very good impression as on closer view quickly relegated. Actually, from the presentation was a nice hotel, manageable, with beautiful pools, nice lobby, but it is nothing held. The buildings crumbled everywhere the finery, in the main building some shops not really to enter animate, in all farthest corner is the kids club, a dingy dark room without daylight. We would have children had along i have not submitted. All in all everything was very dirty. At our travel time was the hotel maybe to 70% occupied. A few egyptian tourists, some german ... guests and 90% guests from the new länder, so if you like saxon learn would like is here correctly. read more

The hotel has without doubt potential. The complex is only 1,5-years-old. The diving school i like because of missing contact not evaluate. The rooms and facilities are great and the best thing i in Egypt have ever had. Pool and beach gorgeous.
However there are some which to be criticized is:
I am with my wife at a sunday arrived. Every room get 2 bottles of water, which one places oneself definitely again to fill. It is not at all these two bottles of, however if this service all guests offered, so i only equality for all of the ... guest. However we have 4 (!) Times at the front desk and manager after these bottles have to ask. We only on the 5. day our stay received.
There is a stream in the pool area. This was during our stay closed. Allegedly for 2 days, this was but nothing. The reason i bisheute not obvious.
The service in the area of food is miserable. Hardly any german knowledge and if you on english ordered, you can get to the part three drinks, until then sometime finally the right is. You had to really partly 4 times the order. My english is really not bad, as i daily at work on this to use.
The plates were mostly dirty and sticky. The food for this really good.
The waiters walk in the outdoor area in your clothes (partly dirty) and the guests. Women of course (Egypt-typical) are preferentially treated.
There are 5 shops on the complex, 2 very unsympathetic and too intrusive. Outside of the complex much landscape. It is very far away the beaten track.
The entertainment went to us completely past. To far away from the hotel and the 'animation room / disco' much to bare and not inviting. As well as the dining room and bar.
But now my biggest point of criticism. My wife was from waiters and chefs so very bit annoyed, (mediocre) 'dressed' and a violent and disgusting nature 'eyed'. I hunger partly really passed. Especially, because the chefs, the at the buffet stand by the worst their actions. I knew that in this way not at all. In any other Egypt vacation we so loudly experienced. My wife it was really uncomfortable! That women in Egypt 'anders' treated are generally known. However in a hotel i expect professional behavior.
Unprofessional i found, that the chef family during our vacation in the hotel was. The depressed the mood amongst others also, because this in any case and everywhere preferential treatment was.
I really hope, that this behavior and the small faults 'beseitigt' are. You feel then simply more. Because the hotel is simple great. read more

If there people is about the weather complaints, is what i not understand can, as you the weather cannot determine. In my 3 weeks (17,1 until 07,2) there was 4 days the cloudy, but i would never say since i fly no more, since the hotel and the lete nothing can. There were also hot days in january and february.
I have also observed, that the rooms if again which leave completely thoroughly cleaned every day,.
Definitely again the hotel! read more

really nice facility with good opportunities but lack of reasonable and Managament due largely untrained personnel sometimes catastrophic conditions. Few really competent people - many "dont see" when it comes to clean up, operate or general cleanliness goes. Very uncomfortable atmosphere in the disco - from 23:00 clock despite no payment orders possible - back chairs - tables can make the noise disappear guests. Restaurant food tasted good but very often cold - when you get really stupid answers complaint - but nothing happens. Staff speak almost no German - and very little English - nod always - even ... though absolutely nothing has been understood. "Guest Relations" wildly off. read more

The hotel is clean and has very friendly staff and really good food. From time to time the dishes a little tight but since one vacation and thus time is the more or less fine. A very nice, relatively new hotel. It consists of several 2-story small houses with 6 units. So is the noise from other guests very small. All rooms are with a pool-& sea view or sea view. The 3 pools form the center the hotel. There is a pool bar with snack bar, a beach bar, a lobby bar and a large restaurant. Two other restaurants at the beach do not belong to the all inclusive. At the beach there were plenty of free beach chairs with umbrella and wind protection. %blank% at the beach, as well as by the pool ... there are free towels.
The majority of the guests are the whole year about aus Germany. The average age of the guests is 0-99 years.
Our 5 year old son, the egyptians to his finger wound. It was as a small prince treated.

The happy life resort has us on the day of arrival really enjoyed - unfortunately was not by length.
The lobby is huge with marble and similar equipped. The cleanliness was serious to be desired.
The large toilets in the main building were although it is very nicely appointed-but clean, you couldn't call it. The shops in the main building invited not to purchase a. Everything simply, impersonal and expensive (100 g mixed pepper 12 Euro! Yes, 12 Euro, no joke.
The rooms are large and spacious, with plenty of storage space in the closets. In the room there was ... everywhere glasses, the very sparsely cleaned. You could german watch - however was the quality mediocre. The beds are hard for all, the back not so cheap. The rooms are 1 time cleaned daily and fresh towels and bed sheets brought.
The large restaurant was the only thing, that could be used, since the other restaurants were closed. Also the juice bar, on which i am pleased about, was too.
The restaurant had the charm a station concourse, and was quite noisy. The food was fine. Particularly beautiful the barbecue evenings. Sweets are partly quite sweet or tasted artificial. Alone there was something for everyone.
The pool area was nicely designed. The pool with the slides was heated. The shallow pool and not heated pool were just too cold.
There were loungers available, the cushions were quickly. Sun screens were on request open.
The service at the pool was not quite as great. Waiter didn't, the clothes were dirty and smelled sometimes quite smelly. Soft drinks and beer you can drink. Cocktails and mixed drinks go not at all. Vodka with Sprite? Or artificial syrups? Shortcoming was, that even on the next day still the glasses from the day before loitered. Ashtray to burst filled.
The definite highlight was the beach. The beach bar was comfortable, there is also genuine coffee-that is one then also times awake. The waiters are neat and clean and very friendly. And they came to us too, we really away from the bar at the beach were.
The pier into the sea is beautifully, from here you can lots of fish and if you are a diver.
A note on of the staff: the people, the work is only by ramses. The waiters forget the orders, then okay, because you have forgotten, who had ordered. The entertainers on the complex were not very special. 1 time stretching, 1 times pool gymnastic and in the afternoon some games (darts was very amusing, as the animator no plan of the game had). The boys and girls do not hurt.
In short: you must always remember, that not in the european abroad is, but in Afrika. For the price is the completely okay. But one must make reductions. read more

A lovely hotel for a relaxing beach holiday. Also if you want to snorkel or dive, is in good hands, the riff nearby is amazing! Also the pool can use one well and there is, if you want, daily entertainment offers. The hotel could be more flair, so the atmosphere is in the dining room near many guests easily kantinenartig and the servers will rarely with the orders for beverages afterwards. The choice of food is good, unfortunately no egyptian culinary offers (perhaps want tourists not?), the taste reasonable. The hotel is actually quite new but already in some areas again in need of renovation. The large canal during our stay already repaired and could not be used. The heated pool was large enough for the existing beds. Unfortunately there was also a lot of construction noises to hear because the hotel is extended. We had a lovely vacation and would come back any time again. The staff in the restaurant is still very young and it was missing the right guidance. Apart from that we only positive experiences with the staff made. Especially commendable Carlos, us both at the beach, in the restaurant and also in the disco served. He gave us our wishes from the eyes.
Only real negative event: the 'seller' from the spa area. The was persistent and only by clear words off.
Contrary to other evaluations was both in the lobby-bar as well as in the disco until 23 ... o'clock all inclusive.
