From the parking from about 20 minutes footpath to the hotel. One view of bohorok and adjoining jungle. With the boat you can cross the river and then takes place direct Climb to the Fütterungsplattform the orang utans. We were in the honeymoon suite booked. Great massive room directly on the water fall with a magnificent view of the jungle. Foot-ill one may not be because of the different Treppenhöhe, which is not easy to commit are. Funny hotel area. In the present 4 rooms next to the restaurant newly built. We liked it very good condition. read more

Fantastic experience with Jungle Inn and Ecotravel

Jungle Inn is located at the top end of Bukit Lawang, right next to the river and the jungle. Each room has a different look and feel, all rooms with attached bathroom, fan and cold water. In the restaurant they offer delicious and clean food. A relaxed and comfortable place next o the jungle, i really can recommend. Prices range between 250000 up to 500000 iR. Jungle Inn has no own website, booking is possible by email bukitlawangtour@yahoo.com or info@sumatra-ecotravel.com. I also did the booking with this local partner from Jungle Inn and organized also in advance a ... pickup from Medan airport and a 2-days-trek in the Gunung Leuser rainforest. It was fantastic! I felt all time safe and well informed by the Ecotravel-Team which offer with long years experience ecological tours in this region. While my stay in Bukit Lawang theyr website was still in prozess now they are online and i really like to recommend them for individual traveler around the Gunung Leuser Park. http://www. sumatra-ecotravel.com. read more
