Before room number 260 be warned. Connecting door goes directly into the bathroom of the neighbors. Door is a joke with at least 1 centimeters gap under door. The light from the bathroom simmered directly in our room. One can imagine, what this meant. We were acoustically directly with our neighbors in the bathroom, which then unfortunately until midnight the shower at least 5 times used. As many Japanese people go in a double room?-). Apart from that the hotel was with high price for 3 * good. Unfortunately was the beautiful art nouveau house in IKEA-style rather unstructured ... renovated. Service was nice, but we should have on the vexed connecting door attentive welcome! read more

We had two nights in this hotel-for Jungfrau marathon September 2011. At our arrival the room we could unfortunately only in the early afternoon. Check-in worked great, forms were completed, had to check and sign. Staff at the front desk were very nice and friendly. Room: large enough for two people, nicely furnished and clean, tv, kettle, tea, coffee are all available in the room. Bathroom: In my opinion a bit small and little storage space. Hair dryer and soap were available, the towels were changed daily. We had booked breakfast, for the marathon participant available from six o'clock breakfast ... with plenty of carbohydrates, which we really loved the breakfast buffet everything else except rolls (which for me personally is something missing) available. Why however differences among the guests to be made is not entirely clear to me. Some guests were with coffee, tea etc. served by the staff-we had both days self-service, although the staff is not gestresst. The hotel is located very close to the centre, right on the main road. It is easy to find. Everything is very clean and it is constantly being renovated and brightened up. In my bathroom there was a connecting door to another room. The door was closed, but it looked through sealed the light from the other room 'through' and in the night the 'snoring' of the neighbors:-(For me, that is also the reason, why I booked this hotel would book a second time. fourth of the car park (behind the building) costs CHF ten, 00 per day. fifth due to Interlaken, was also here again a very large Japanese group at the breakfast. The noise level was enormously.SIX. No mini bar in the room and overall rating 'four'. Conclusion: Normal Price/Performance Ratio. The hotel business I would not stay again. For those private stay probably okay. We must not forget, that it was a three stars. A rustic rooms, where you can hear the neighbor. The excursion knackst. You feel like you are on an Alpine. Unfortunately a bit everything was very small.HCLFHLWireless Internet was available and also very especially not really a good alternative to UMTS. I was at the hotel with a group of about 20 people. The hotel staff was excellent, very helpful and accomodating. They made a special effort to accomodate an early departure by opening the dining room almost an hour early so we could have a full breakfast. The hotel is located near the Interlaken Banhof East which made it very easy to get to the Jungfrau and other locations for sightseeing. I would highly recommend this establishment. read more
