We have been about 10 years ( after the club med in the neighboring pontresina had to close) to the roi soleil and always made to feel in all areas very comfortable there. I can the hooey on the 'like a canteen' in the dining room or the nagging over the (actually always great buffet) and the long-pending renovation of the building ( yes-it was really a hospital) not more hear and all those it gladly renovated would only advise get ownership of the building to inform ( fremdmieter during the summer season and so on). We go in any ... case always there to great and sophisticated winter sports region from St. Moritz and that is nowhere otherwise in and around St. Moritz cheaper! What club med does about ourselves during the day in the chalets on the two mountains corviglia & corvatsch with 'all inclusive' catering is absolutely unique! We can only hope, and we hope, that the managers manage the fantastic club med in St. Moritz still long to maintain and we not sometime on the much higher price of the other hotels in the environment are dependent on. read more

The hotel consists of concrete & plastic with the charm of a warteraumes in a zahnambulatorium or hospital. To the absolutely reasonable price of the offer, which we had, really a bargain. Altogether recommendable, but some things were unfortunately not so great. For example the separate parking incidental expenses (parking 10 sfr/day and garage 34 sfr/day). This is already extremely exaggerated. St. Moritz is in the ' german -Switzerland' which one unfortunately not notice if one in the club dining. You will in english welcomes. read more

    The quality of the dishes is not bad. Unfortunately all meals more or less cold. The wärmeschleusen are not really in use. Even the cheese fondue, which directly from of the kitchen is cold. We have our fondue 3 times back before it really hot and was enjoyable. For a swiss tend to be unacceptable.

    So far we have always the ski school taken into account and were with the instructors (Paolo, Daniel, other ) always very satisfied. Nevertheless we quite good skier, we always enjoyed at the start the season prudential on the ski to be made and also always additionaly learned. This year's ski instructors (jasper) had either personal problems or had absolutely no desire at all close to the group to adjust. He drove his own pace without consideration for the group. Some were hereby absolutely overstrained. A reason why we in future the club avoid.

    In principle is the location not bad. With ski and ski boots is the signalbahn approximately 5 minutes out. Other ski areas (corvatsch, diavolezza and lagalb ski area) to by bus directly from hotel driven to. In the afternoon there is a minibus, which the ermüdeten guests back to the hotel brings. We were very pampered felt. Had us to do anything. Ski pass, room, and so on everything was already prepared. Only in the dining room it was so loud, that you have your own word not understand could. We have a few days needed, for us to this noise backdrop to accustom. read more

Only for guests, the club atmosphere like. Check in and allocation of seats in the ski lessons and so on strictly organized-queue and waiting times belongs to. Bathroom completely moldy, room very simple and small. Equipment not relevant any more, all very old. In the morning you could to the pool in the breakfast room hardly his own words understand, noise level enormous. You contacted at tables with used dishes and leftovers of the predecessors, nothing is removed or cleaned. Breakfast very simple kept, evenings is the food a bit better. Club Med is end of November until middle April open. It is a pure winter club. In the summer is in the building the hotel Chalybeate bath unit. the condition the club is still okay, it should however time renovated will. Club Med offers all inclusive. In addition belong all meal times, drinks and snacks. Lunch in the Höhenrestaurants be taken. during our stay (6. kW) was the average age at about 50 years. There were a lot of German, French and Canadians in the club. Children there were hardly any. read more

    this year we had a very small room with a dreadful carpet. The furniture is Spartan. We had two safes, a modern flat screen TV, as well as sufficient storage space and hangers in the closets.     Club Med has all in all 5 restaurants: the main restaurant, a Italian restaurant, a Swiss restaurant and two Höhenrestaurants. the main restaurant is the largest restaurant. The tables are almost all octagonal and there is a considerable noise. Straight at the start you sit always with other people and nationalities at the table and comes into conversation. Later form cliques. Whom it main restaurant too loud is, in Italian or Swiss restaurant reserve. This is at the front desk from 4:30 P. M. for the next day. Personally I prefer the main restaurant, because it is the largest food is. quality and quantity the food and drinks is very good. Each day stands under a other Motto: Asian, French, Italian, exotic and so on it regularly replenished. Cleanliness and hygiene were OK. Sometimes is the staff not met. the atmosphere in the restaurants is legère. You need not special aufzustylen; jeans is OK. the Höhenrestaurants are located in the winter sports regions Corvatsch and corviglia. Individual skiers receive the Essenstickets from 9:00 P. M. on EVE at the front desk. The groups of skiers visit the Höhenrestaurants at specified times and in layers eaten. In Höhenrestaurant corviglia it is already sometimes closely.     the staff are always friendly and helpful. Everyone speaks at least two languages, mostly even three. You have to watch out, which flags on the name plate are attached. Everyone speaks French, because it is a French club. English I mean, everyone has spoken. Many can Italian and some German. At the front desk this time were at least three persons with good German language skills, one of them was German. The staff at the bar and in the restaurants spoke no German. The locals skiing instructor all spoke German. I mention this here so exactly, because the club in Canton Grisons and there is German spoken. The club is a small french oasis. One should thus spoke English or French. the cleaning of the rooms was moderate. In particular the bathroom was at our arrival in the corners wasn't really clean. Also the shower gel not refilled. Very beautiful skiing vacation to good price performance ratio. I can negative reviews some other here at all understand! Even if the foreign languages skills of the staff limited are, one got along with English very well. The staff put in the effort and the rooms are clean. Because of the size of the area was just a bit hectic. A downside is the wellness area, really small ended is. Apart from that I have nothing to complain about. The food is plentiful and good. Also the selection of the drinks is the best. Skiing instructor are very friendly and ... the prices good organized. in short: A club for a bit younger people, the skiing in club and SPA not so much value. read more

We can not recommend the trial offer four friends, since it was an absolute mass processing. Great All Inclusive Offer. I understand people, which during the day and then complain about 15 cocktails, because the milk for the cappuccino out! Strangely you book the same people this is already the ninth time! Oh Well. typically German! We were with the food and drinks variety was very satisfied! Tasted great! The service may not everything runs approximately, one must be overlooked. Therefor the price is great! The only drawback: we were from the ski resort, the elevators were very disappointed! If the regular ski pass around 55, -€ cost, then I do not wish to drag lifts ... opened or old! Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely come back! read more

For every request to winter sports (in any class) in this hotel there is a great deal. We are with the price/performance ratio! The lessons (included in the price) was great, very varied and well adapted to their own potential! They either by bus in the more distant resorts or you could directly to the signal line (about six minutes) walk! In the skiing area was not busy at all, so that one often the whole runway for herself! Many offers for children, also for the very little ones! If you like to vacation makes Club this hotel is always ... recommendable, there was always something going on (sensitive in this regard are misplaced) and didn't have to worry about nothing really, everything is organized, lunch at the top of the ski area and included! One should however always watch your belongings and do nothing to leave! (We had left a jacket in the lobby and unfortunately not get back) read more
