Hotel The James Chicago^{(4 stars)}

We had a studio room small kitchen in the enterance area of our room, a bathroom, living and sleeping area with a flat screen TV. Coffeemakers, minibar everything available. The room seemed not older than a year, and was top.

In the hotel there was next to a very good ( also busy ) bar also a good steakhouse. We only used the bar, the restaurant was too expensive. The Show and cleanliness were. But were really good. In this area, if you want you can have breakfast.

The staff at the front desk/bar and the room service was very nice and helpful. At the reception, there were also a German speaking Mr ..... The room cleaning was done very good fresh towels every day, some ice for drinks etc.

In the basement there was next to the spa as a really well-equipped, complimentary fitness center, which we used on a daily basis. This area has a very good thing ... As was the entire hotel. Next to the good equipment, there was also TVs, complimentary water and fresh free oranges. (Very recommendable). The spa area but we didn't use it, since the prices were too high for us, but it looked very nice.

The hotel has about 300 rooms and is in an older building. The facade reflects but not the inside of the hotel. Everything very stylish / modern and well maintained. We had booked a normal double room, as this wasnt ready, they gave us a free upgrade to a studio ..... Wonderful. Food not booked, which due to numerous restaurants nearby was also right. The guests were nicely mixed ... tourists, business people ... etc. Everything was available.

The hotel is located in a side street of the Magnificent Mile in troulbe, after about 100 meters to reach by walking distance. The location is ideal for a city break in Chicago, the Chicago River, Wrigley Building, Hancock Tower everything just a short walk away. Also the metro or bus stop close to everything, you need in this city definitely not a car.
