Many sights easy to reach on foot. Room decor very good. Unfortunately somewhat problem at check in (1 hour wait), because the room not finished yet was. Apart from that we must not forget, that this no hotel in the traditional sense is, but very lots of restaurants in the immediate environment, so this not a problem at all represents. We can the building recommend for a short city break. read more

We had a room on 2 floors. The living room downstairs, the bedroom above. The furnishings has a high standard. The great view in the hamburger Michel the whole rounded off. A pay garage is located under the house. Directly in front of the hotel parking, could without underground parking quite difficult. The S-Bahn and subway is within walking distance (5 minutes jetties ) reachable. You happens a street with many restaurants and cafes. read more

Next to friendly and competent staff impressed the building by spacious suites and comply with each of its promised.
The bathroom could be a little bit bigger, but the mirror, across the whole area, make it already again almost unique. read more

Staff didn't greet if client/guest by the lobby goes. Rude and not customer service oriented.
Small bed.
Due to the large windows, heats the room very nice on.
Rooms can only little be darkened. Therefore very bright-also for sleeping
Modern coffee machine with 2 capsules. More capsule can at the front desk can be bought. read more

The Hanse clipper Haus has huge rooms including large kitchenette, cookware, and what else do you need. You can cook for yourself, there is unfortunately in the hotel itself no possibility to eat. A few meters away there is a bistro, where you can have breakfast Inside/outside. The prices are affordable. Lunch/dinner also wasn't't a problem, since the Hanse clipper house at the end of the Portuguese quarter is. Here I'm sure everyone found something to eat. The location is good. A few meters to the Michel, public transport or raised down. read more

Beautiful Boardinghouse directly with the Michel in perfect location. The center is also easily accessible on foot, if you have a small walk not afraid of. Apart from that an underground station in about 5 minutes. The rooms are nicely furnished and large, the furnishings good. The front desk is only until 22 o'clock manned, also cleaning of the rooms and change of towels must extra be booked, is for me but for a weekend break even not necessary. The staff at reception was Hanseatic cool but not unfriendly. I stay overnight rather in a hotel with beautiful, large rooms ... and do so on a 24 hours occupied front desk. read more

From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly. Our room was 2 hours before check-in time ready and we found out that we upgraded to a Grand maisonette suite. The suite was very spacious. The kitchen had everything you need, even a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine were available. In the upper section is the bathroom and a large bedroom. The room was in a very good unworthy state of them. Due to the location in the Portugiesenviertel of Spanish and Portuguese restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The Landungsbruecken you could reach in five minutes walk. Downtown 2 S-Bahn ... stops away. read more

The hotel and the suite were really great! The price was the cheapest, we found. The staff was pleasant and helped with questions we were we buy and eat. The short walk to the harbor-perhaps 300 meters-was for our musical of the king of the lions. It couldn't have been better! The only fault I little sound gedämmten windows. It was the first night very noisy at night on the street in front of the hotel and we had to close the Windows unfortunately. Nevertheless, the individual voices. I would therefore reserve at the time of booking a room at ... the rear of the hotel. Otherwise everything was okay, the kitchen had the basics and for the preparation of a small dinner served ☺ If you don't want to cook: throughout the ditmarschen-rosenköhlchen-street are at least 20 restaurants, where to eat and relax. Breakfast was in a small bistro in the hotel down in it. It was big enough. If we go to Tarzan, we definitely go back to this hotel. read more

This hotel has enjoyed my husband and me first of all the location directly in the Portuguese quarter and the proximity (2 minutes walk) to restaurants.
Check-in: relatively quickly, and unfortunately a bit cool, but personenbedingt. It would have been better in a city map with attractions information's. the lady at the check-out was clearly friendlier.
The size and decor of the room or the suite was impressive. With kitchenette, coffee machine, microwave, glasses, dishes, etc. everything was available. Separate sitting area, desk and a separate area the double bed. We just went out from home have never had such ... a relaxing night's sleep in the bed.
In the evening you can directly before the hotel door in the Portuguese quarter food & drink. We can recommend the Mesón Galicia. Delicious tapas and wine tastes corner exhaust systems.
In this area you feel like you are staying in the sunny holiday.
Directly along the harbor was an easy walk to St. Pauli and other attractions.
A launches drive-you can but you didn't have to.
Recommendation for lunch: block pants (carpaccio, sirloin steak, etc.) read more

Although the hotel was a very rich impression they are known as' average holiday-makers' very comfortable. Friendliness and fulfilment is most certainly not. Service at the top!
Even though we had already checked out early in order to run the marathon, you have the possibility to request, then the shower in the sauna to use.
The rooms are comfortable and nothing was missing. Even a bath tub is available!
Simply great and recommendable!
From the hotel you have the opportunity to reach all the sights and attractions on foot. A possibility for shopping for food is just around the corner. ... Varied food if you would like is here exactly correct, because all of the restaurants are represented here! The pool is not far even with BBQ facilities! read more

But often hotels for a family trip too little space, peace, comfort and home feeling offer are the suites in Hotel Excelsior Ernst-clipper Hotel a very nice contrast. Maize sonnets-suite has two Etaen. Mini-kitchenette with refrigerator, dishes, glasses, NESPRESSO coffee machine, kettle... Just convenient. Furthermore, charming decor, great tv and comfortable seating area. 'young come back soon' win as a Hamburger songs a new definition. read more

The apartment hotel is just ideal. At the reception to give a free city map! Jetties about five minutes Michel right in front of our nose, speicherstadt, fish market, jungfernstieg and so on within walking distance to everything. The rooms are nice, bathroom and a small kitchen is also available in the hotel that breakfast is not provided, the kitchen is the first coffee worth gold! Breakfast can be directly in one of the numerous restaurants in front of the door, it is not worth it to go shopping and to become self-sufficient. In the immediate vicinity there is also ... a REWE 22 hours until (also Saturday) opened. If you like to sleep early you should ask for the reservation for a quiet room. As the hotel is located in the Portuguese quarter with many restaurants and tapabars is, it is on the main road. Already times somewhat louder. For those who go to sleep early, is a lot of selection of several nice restaurants available. If you now have in the vicinity of the hotel something to drink, we recommend the tavern 'no-name' left from the hotel toward the jetties, after about ten meters on the left hand side. For those who prefer to drink cocktails should go to the 'narrow towel' on Großneumarkt, from the hotel to the Michel and then only the main street. And you're almost there. The way back takes about 7-8 minutes could take a bit longer ☺. The Großneumarkt there are nice restaurants. We will visit next year Hamburg in the summer and then will certainly return to the hotel Hanse clipper. read more

Once again I am enthused, the great room (suite on two floors!), the view of the Michel, the central location on the harbor (restaurants) .just great. In this hotel you a real feel-good experience, so I am always. Hotel is no restaurant, but there are enough around, as is sure which. The hotel is the small 'Oh it's fesh' for breakfast okay. I'm definitely coming again... read more
