Hotel in the best location and access to the sights of the city. Small musty room mostly without daylight. Much too small breakfast room. Good breakfast, if not just little congestion in the hotel are.
Who real 4 stars is in the wrong place here - who nearby the town is in the right place here. In the area there are clearly better Hotelalternativen. read more

This hotel lies great to explore Brüssel. One is in 5 minutes to the grand place, the centre of Brüssel. The sights of interest are accordingly also all nearby, and the shopping area is also more than reachable on foot.
The rooms are although a bit small, but for a city journey is enough it anyway. read more

An excellent hotel around Brüssel to discover. Scandic grand place is located in the middle of the city in the immediate vicinity of metro and to the grand place market are it maximally 5 minutes on foot.
The breakfast was not sumptuously however more than enough. There were several sorts of rolls, croissants and bread, as well as cold cuts, jams, cereals and scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and other things. The beverages from a juice dispenser.
We had a normal double room booked, but were, when we the cleanliness of the room unhappy and this after checking in at the ... front desk reported immediately and without murren on a different room transferred. This was actually a great ioir double room with a small balcony.
The hotel has a small gym with a few cardio machines and a small weight lifting bench. Also there are two small saunas the tidy well maintained.
All in all, is this hotel, even if the rooms smaller faults had, by a renovation easy to eliminate would be, a nice city hotel, which was also not too expensive is. We can recommend it. read more

Scandic Brussels city is very centrally located, a few minutes walk to the Grand Place, 'and' Brussels central train station. The rooms are in several floors (2 elevators available) around an open interior location. My room had a window to the court yard, however therefore very quiet. Size: only 20 square meter including the bathroom, described as a double, as a double room it seemed a bit small. As for business trip as single use, it was big enough. I really liked the wood parquet floor (or tiles in the bathroom), as it made a clean and homely impression. The ... bathroom was very modern with bath tub and glass shower partition. Bathroom and rooms were clean. The room had a small TV device (with ARD and ZDF, otherwise other languages), a hairdryer, a mini bar with the usual hotel prices, plenty of towels, telephone available. I did not use the sauna, there wasn't a pool. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant (included in the price) was very varied and tasted very good to me. Internet access (Wi-Fi) is included in the price, but officially only in the restaurant area available. With a suitable computer, but after some attempts, I got a connection in the room. As a Scandinavian Hotel Scandic stressed the environmental performance, for instance, there were shared bins for separation of different waste, soap/shampoo in spenders, part of the breakfast were organic products, '' fair-traded coffee and orange juice. About my company travel agent the room costed 130 euro per night, according to notice in the room it would be more than 250 euro. Therefore for a family holiday only for a special offer. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were competent and friendly. I felt welcome. If I will have to make another business trip to Brussels, I will book this hotel again. read more
