Hotel Taj Malabar^{(5 stars)}

The hotel we have taj malabar by vivanta after a cruise as relaxation hotel booked. The transfer to the hotel from the harbor was very short, but good. In the hotel arrived we had a very warm welcome, we got refreshment towels, a begrüßungssnack and all relevant information from our personal tutor. Then we were even to the room accompanied, the door was opened (and as expected, we could first enter) and our luggage also came shortly thereafter to the room. The deluxe room is very spacious %blank%. Although we to 3. were, were the two beds large enough, in ... a 2. to sleep. The room had a seating area, a work desk, two beds, a large closet, tv with international tv channels, safe, minibar and a large bathroom. Although the room the main gate was, it was very quiet and you don't have the noise. The cleanliness was really good -nothing was to complain about! The cleaning staff always very friendly, always greeted and made, if it was necessary, also always space to pass. The guests in the hotel was very mixed (many nationalities) and nobody noticed negatively! The pool is the eye-catcher of the hotel! Nicely situated, right at the shore has a good view of the sea and it is very quiet there! We even had the luck of the pool from dolphins to be able to see, the in the sea from time to time from the water high and look left. The only a bit annoying were the many birds (ravens), the again and again times came. Was or is however not to stop! Directly at the pool there is a bar, at which one beverages and small snack get. Also by the pool attached is the spa, the very nice is. We had a massage and were also all contently-the 'wellness-craft' will controlled! The hotel complex, although small, but fine, was very clean and the plants plus lawn were the whole time fostered and maintained. At other end of the pool there were two restaurant (including main restaurant). The dishes were really very good and also once, when we the room service as' dinner ' use, came quickly and was really delicious (i have seldom seen such a good risotto eaten (actually atypical for India, therefore still impressive!). Perhaps the hotel has for some the impression from a 'ageing hotels ', which i can't confirm. The furnishing is tastefully, with attention to detail and it is just the charm of the hotel from! We also have the limousine service to the airport used - very nice, new car, a decent chauffeur with good, modest manners! All in all and i would like to this hotel happy to recommend! If you're looking for party, is in the wrong place! For relaxing in a quiet location, very good food and luxury ( yachtschiff to the collection or excursions is also available!) This small, but very fine hotel just perfect! read more
