The Hotel Aqua blu Sharm el Sheik (only aqua blu syndromal) is quite large and not very well maintained. One may definitely not in the corner! In addition one needs a strong stomach, since the hygiene is lacking. The hotel is owned by a russian, why 98% of the guests russians was. I have nothing against russians, but the prejudices have once again shown. read more

    We had a family room booked, which was a room is, with a double bed for parents and a bunk bed for children. Unfortunately, there was no other family room, as we with 2 bedrooms would have preferred. The bathroom was dirty and from the shower came only little water, indicated it was impossible long hair to wash. The water from the tap shouldn't drink, but there were the water bottles! Balcony was also reasonable long but to a busy street, the louder than the air conditioning was.

    There is several restaurants in which it in our opinion terrible food. It is very adapted for the russians. So you could every evening vegetables, pumpkin, fried food. There was also rice and meat, which sometimes took some getting used to looked. The glasses looked like plates dirty and sticky from. That put a the food. With desserts and drink it stinks. It is also very loud. If you at the buffet is it already times before, that a russian the spoon't use something on his plate to make, but time to try. Afterwards the spoon back down, so that the next then its food so that it can do-delicious! Often also for example 5 hähnchenkeulen, and put 3 back. The waiters were all very friendly and also times german to serve us. Sometimes they bring a also the beverages on the table. Strong stomach was needed. We all had stomach/intestine problems.

    The staff is in general quite friendly. The cleaning lady (man) was made properly clean and every day. The towels were also regularly directly in the room changed. In case of any problems were immediately said, that everything be remedied, but in the end nothing was done. It was called the you 4 bottles of water in the fridge has. With us however not. We arrived in the evening and had huge thirst. No one came with water when we 3 times at the front desk we called. The safe, the actually should be open to and after repeated request but not open.

    Pool was a curtained glass panels that face into broth sometimes warmer than the air was. But there was a great slide area, the recommendable is. At the slide in each case a watcher, so nobody got hurt. You should never just on the backside, but with mat or tyre. Loungers by the pool were mostly worn out or broken. Because the hotel also directly as aquapark and everyone can get and slides you should in the morning already reserve chairs.

    The hotel is located quite close at the airport (25 minutes). On the complex directly there are several shops. Otherwise there are still old market, where you with the taxi go anywhere. Is however not recommendable, as you also not the right Egypt looks. You could as everywhere fake things and is constantly crowded and with russian addressed. As blond you will particularly bad traces. Not recommendable.

The hotel is located amid the aquq parks is very spacious and the food options and bars are generous that one never the feeling has, the hotel fully would be. But you feel good. It is for all what, whether action or rest of jazz bar and café in the style of the 60. years simply imaginative. read more

    The rooms are typical of the country and functional decorated, with a tv the 3 german transmitters has, we looked at but the live entertainment from the balcony from. Every day there was mineral water in the fridge, it regularly towels and bettwäsache changed.

    There are for the size this hotel adequate restaurant for the all-inclusive area in which you always get a seat. The same applies to the bars. It is always clean, we had also the luck the kitchen to visit since i cook and i think it would be some kitchen in Germany so technically equipped, t so clean and hygienic. Also the hotel has a lebensmittelchemielabor instructs the hygiene, the cleanliness and the food always test. The food is varied and tasty as looked very good, but you always the value for money must see.

    The staff met the guests always friendly and accommodating. Although with some guests not at all that easy and in my opinion a completely special service. With english one comes in this hotel really good and you get what you want, there is also next to the reception a desk with mrs kamilla, who speaks very well german. The kidsclup is very good. Complaints are also very taken serious.

    The way to the beach is approximately 10 minutes away if you on foot goes, which mostly also faster than with a shuttle bus. The beach is clean and offers bathing opportunities for the family with a shallow sandy beach, as well as for snorkelers at the nearby reef, located in the nature reserve ras um sied is. You could also the old market around 15 minutes away on foot, el mercato and wa Leila than shops are easy on foot from the hotel to reach.

Been here 7 times now gets better every year location is excellent nearby shops bars beach ect we were made to feel very welcome again and we all had a great time ignore any negative reviews go see for yourselves mr elsayed who is the gm is a top man really looked after us and all the staff are fantastic they really can't do enough for you we will be goin back in the near future. read more

A very nice vacation, only the weather played not so! Beware spa rip-off! We can all only recommend the hotel. Very big and beautiful! On the whole we were very satisfied! Only alone the situation, that we were in a spa town a bit cheated felt! We only paid for 20 minutes massage, but we got 1-2 minutes! Otherwise only mask as a replacement for massage? Very weak and not recommendable! read more

Facilities not the, what it once probably the reopening was. The hotel guests were to 95% russian fellow citizens and their serious principle behavior for the food, by the pool or with the staff! On the final day came only dirty water from the lines. The food was for a central europeans satisfactory-good. Little exotic eat. Will be returning on my next stay not in this hotel spend. read more

Without seeing the complex (hotel and park) you cannot imagine the enormity of it. However, throughout the complex the decor, lighting and overall ambience is overwhelming and completed in a way which combines both modern and traditional in an extremely tasteful manner. The number of industrious staff employed as cleaners whether it be in the aqua park or hotel is unbelievable and they ensure that the highest of standards are maintained at all times - equivalent to a 5 star hotel - in two weeks we never had one occasion to complain. On an all inclusie basis we always ask ... for value for money and in reality we were not disappointed in any way with so many outlets avaiable during the whole day. There was a large percentage of Russians that at times some were rude and intrusive BUT some were very friendly and entertaining and overall did not have any effect on our experience. The age range was diverse due to the nature of the complex but it seemed that everyone was catered for with regards to food, drink and entertainment and everyone from aged 2 to 92 were meticulously looked after. read more

    Clean well equippped and with a fridge regularly filled with water we had two rooms adjacent too each other outside the main block which in the main was quiet relaxing and very comfortable. On a holiday like this if you spend a huge amount of time in your room there is something wrong anyway. The free safe was a bonus and easy to use and the staff could never be doubted with any accusations of dishonesty - we often left things out including money and never once found anything to go astray.

    Due to our room location we eat mainly in the Asian, Meditteranean, Italian restauraunts but occassionally the Cave du Roi. In each we found the service of an exceptional standard - it is refreshing when staff remember your drinks (and most importantly your names) when you go to eat. The variety of food was diverse and how anybody can say repetitive I find absurd. If you try different restaurants there is always something different and all the staff will go out of their way to make your dining experience special - morning or night. The Birthday celebrations are out of this world! Although you are in an all inclusive environemnt it was refreshing to see the staff noticing your drink was near the end and the next minute you had a fresh one without even asking - there was no queing at the bar in a flustered state wondering when you or if (which we have had in some other all inclusive stays!) are going to be served. The beer is equivalent to a good quality Heinekin and although the local spirits may not be totally like our home imported are in plentiful supply and more than adequate. If you wish later night entertainment you have to pay at the Jazz Bar but the expense should not be that much with the opportuinties you have had during the night and day! As for tipping - yes we did but only because we wanted too and not because we felt we were compelled too - was our level of service improved? Maybe! But a tip of £2.00 is in proportion to the cost of a pint of beer in the UK a token thank you.

    Despite the fabulous facilities etc within this hotel there is one thing that stands out that makes it so outstanding and memorable that money cannot buy - THE STAFF! From the General Manager Mr Awad Elsayed to all the hotel staff whether they be managers, waiters, cleaners, bar staff (Mahmood and Abo were stars!) there psychology is the same - they will do their very best to make your stay the best they possibly can with no exception which they should be highly commended for particularly in a potentially difficult multi-national environment. If you have a problem let somoene know they will totally endeavour to resolve it - whatever language you speak! Our room(s) were kept immaculately cleaned on a daily basis with a surprise "sculpture" presented every night which was a nice touch and we felt went above and beyond what you could normally expect. On one occasion I did require the assistance of the on site doctor and found him to be totally professional, compassionate and a true gentleman and wish he was my GP here in the UK!!

    In short the Aqua Park itself is worth cost of the stay over a period of time! The rides, pools etc were incredible (Tsunami my favourite and I am nearly 50!) and I forbid anybody to get bored here! Whether you just wish to sunbathe by the pool (the quantity and array of sunbeds available is amazing) or play all day it us up to you. The variety of rides accommodates every age and size and levels of adrenalin! Again the biggest selling point believe it or not is the STAFF in the Aqua Park who constantly make you laugh, feel welcome and SAFE! Under the leadership of Mr Ahmed Ibrahim they have a finely tuned team with the assistance of Mr Justin Moustaffa that are a credit keeping all the adults and children alike amused in a happy environment. Whether it be a lifeguard - Brother Roma - or pool cleaner - little Ahmed - their respect, friendliness and joviality cannot be faulted and you will not find anyone to be rude or unaccompanying despite the long hours they work. The animation team work relentlessy to keep everyone happy and in particular with DJ Chicco try their upmost to keep you entertained from morning to night! Karaoke nights in particular were a blast!

    The beach was only a free shuttle bus drive away from outside the reception (5 minutes away) and although may not be what we may expect from a beach (ie golden sands etc) is a great day out in itself (and FREE!.) The potential disappoinment of the sands is more than made up for with fantastic snorkelling if you like it? Be slightly adventurous and have a look around - you don't have to go too far and you will find amazing coral reefs out of nowhere accompanied with mind boggling fish. I had a close encounter with a massive ray which was unbelievable! .Just outside the complex are reasnoably priced supermarkets but we found just a short taxi ride to the Old Market where the best bargains were found. HOWEVER AND BE WARNED, avoid having a drink in the Old Market where there is "like" steps to a mountain above the stage as we were totally ripped off for a couple of beers and bottles of water and the staff were that rude it nearly came to calling the police. The Manager (always wears a brown leather jacket with glasses) is the most aggressive, rude and arrogant man that I have ever met and when we refused to pay ridiculous prices (£35 for 5 drinks including 2 bottles of water and two beers which were undrinkable) - he made threats that were unbelievable - STAY AWAY. In all the time we were in Egypt this was the only time anybody was inpolite, offensive and total con artists who do not advertise thier prices (their service charge is actually twice the price of the drinks!!!) and will try to intimidate you into paying their made up prices!!! The rest of the market is friendly, unintimidating and great value for money!! We were occupied that much throughout the day with the children in the water park/beach etc we did not do any trips so cannot comment on the trips/excursions available but they were readily available to be booked either through the hotel (who maybe in your face slightly) but listening to other guests comments organised fantastic trips.

Huge hotel with mainly russian guests, You didn't have a place where you get 5 minutes a little peace finds, The beach and the reef in a bad state, nothing for passionate snorkelers, since the reef already quite is destroyed and the motorboats directly to the locked beach area go Also quite noisy through the business from the glass bottom boats and speed boats in the small bay: therefore also not for friends of the environment plastic cup, foam plates, plastic cutlery at the beach bar: they are of course afterwards also in the water and at the beach. Service ... not really the egyptian friendliness accordingly (staff seemed quite annoyed and is little attentive). One comes early in the morning, one had to walk long to be room wait - check in actually only at 14 o'clock, had luck and were 2.5 hour wait at 12 o'clock on our room come - gave time, you already have for other could use. We were not from the hotel nor in the area so thrilled, that we come back we would. read more

My room lay directly over a pumpenanlage, the at night on full blast. Also the Loading ramp of the hotel should in the immediate area layout. Truck came nearly every Night and made a noise, because the driver the engines not sought. They tried Not, in its abladetätigkeit to be quiet. The summit but was, i 12 hours before my departure from the room warf, although I immediately after my arrival with an employee the front desk a late check out agreed upon And prepared, the price pay. On the day of departure knew happy Of this agreement, and it ... was suddenly the double amount of money requested, which i refused. read more

Clean hotel, with a large and very well maintained pool area. Wide selection of restaurants, in each there is however nearly the same food (chicken, rice). Partly very unfriendly staff. 90% russian, 5% english and dutch, 5% germans. We booked at the last minute (therefore relatively cheap), it was the value for money ok. My main holiday, i perhaps several months saving needs, i would not spend there! read more

    The distance to the beach was good 10 minutes on foot, they found a bus available every 30 minutes the us to the sea drive could. The city namabey was very open and interesting the taxis bring immediately where you want to go and without the you having to worry about.

A very nice well-kept complex! Wonderful staff (in all areas) Annoying anwerber (beauty salon, massage, tauchshop) but actually only on the first day annoying. A snorkel trip to tiran (hotel booked) is really recommendable you must be made, all great organized and a great crew. The mosque with its' chant ' is very annoying and loud, but which is it. The shuttle to the beach is very good, you can but also the garbage to the beach go, is not really far, but garbage! read more

Beautiful large area, for children perfectly suited. There were 40% russians 40% english and 20% other nations in the hotel. Facilitities are recommendable. We really enjoyed it. read more

The hotel has more than 500 rooms and was relatively large, but spread over the huge grounds everything very well. The two-story construction of the various building contributes, that one feels very well. In spite of the size one gets on the grounds very fast with good reason. It is a pure all inclusive hotel. All in all the hotel a very clean impression, some older rooms are but already a bit shabby. In addition more under the relevant point. Wireless internet in the hotel very expensive (7€ per half hour). At the front desk there are 3 computers, but ... also here one must for the internet pay. While we were there, there were about 70% russians and 20% english. The remaining 10% are germans, swiss, etc. Because of the water parks of course many families with children. But also lots of young and older couples. Major problems with the other guests not, even if you when the behavior of other guests sometimes already times the head vibrate could. read more

    We had a good old (slightly run-down) rooms in the main building. The size was more than enough, even if a beach chair as drittbett it stood, but didn't need them. Under the other two beds were roles, so they weren't very well could put together. A closet with enough room was available. Also the bathroom was large enough. You had to showering but be careful, not the whole bathroom underwater to sit. There was a free safe (number code ) available. Also an older crt televisions (ZDF, RTL II, sf) and a nice big balcony (including laundry stand). The room was probably not been used, so we on the first day directly 25 mosquitoes kill had. The reduced more and more and from the 4. day were then all taken care of. There was but also clearly newer and nicer rooms in buildings and bungalows. Here we had a little trouble.

    There are 4 restaurants on the grounds. At the entrance the aquapark is the main restaurant (cave du roi). Between 6000. And 7000. Area are co-existence of italian (il caminetto), the asian (l'asiatique) and the mediterranean restaurant (mediterranean). In addition there is above the main restaurant, the jazz bar (in the evening) and the au moka café. There is also the beach bar, three pool bars, a bar and a cafe at the front desk, as well as a café (la verandah) opposite the asians. We liked the most the asian much, here was well seasoned and the dishes were partly a bit spicy. Otherwise often a bit bland. You have to find something and several restaurants go, but always tasty dishes. In the main restaurant there are evening theme nights, when the italians of course always' fresh ' prepared pasta and pizza. Also spaghetti with 6 different sauces. Overall lunch and dinner very good and above all also very warm/hot. Breakfast is served in 3 restaurants offered, whereas it actually everywhere the same (for breakfast yes also completely ok). There is a an egg station (fried eggs, omelet with added according to desire), fresh small pancakes unddonuts, a little sausage and cheese, wide selection of cereal, yogurt, and fruit. To that lots of different bread/rolls/baguettes/desserts and croissants. Every lunch is available at 1-2 restaurants hot dogs or burgers to put together yourself and also french fries. The hygiene is good everywhere. Tips are gladly taken, the service is but also without very good. In the main restaurant evenings tables, so it does not get too crowded. So you have to wait time. Generally the atmosphere is there in the evening not very pleasant. Just too loud/hectic. Here once again a complete about: early breakfast (01:00 until 06:30): l'asiatique breakfast (07:00 until 11:00): cave du roi, liter 'asiatique, mediterranean lunch (12:00-14:30): cave du roi, liter' asiatique, mediterranean, beach bar (12:30 to 15:00) Snacks (14:30 to 17:30): il caminetto Dinner: 18:00-21:30 : all 4 restaurants There is also from 10 to 22 o'clock au moka café and cakes. From 12 to 18 o'clock additionally to ice and from 15 to 18 o'clock the crepes station (delicious) open. Here you can crepes with cheese, tuna, chicken, jam, chocolate-or custard make let. The various coffees (especially iced coffee with vanilla syrup) in the various cafes are recommendable. One is thus around the hour well looked after.

    The service is excellent. In the restaurants one must the beverages yourself, is however not a problem. The plates were quickly cleared away. We tipped at the end in the boxes in the particular restaurants given. Some of the staff could speak german, since here but the russian language predominates, have often use in english. At the room cleaning it gave nothing at all complaints, clean and thorough, it is not. The 'beach' could even really good german. You get from this new beach/beach towels and per day and person a 0.6 litre bottle of water in the minibar. This is, of course not at all, you can see the bottles but at the getränkespendern at the bars/restaurants, free replenish. We know that from other pickalbatros hotels, where one new bottles of water for free in the bars could take. I would 6 stars, would not the unfriendly and incompetent reception. On the day of our arrival (were already at half 12 in the hotel) we were at the check-in constantly put off, to us then someone said that our room with luck at 14 o'clock be completed, as the check in normally only from 15 o'clock is possible. This should have been us, with a possibility already times swimsuits able to attract, immediately needs. Generally it came us like that before with concerns not taken serious to be. We wanted to 3 days before departure late check-out at 18 o'clock (steep 50 €) book. They told us but, that we 24 hours before departure to and this not a problem is. When we then again to the front desk came, was once only the late check-out until 15 o'clock (35€) possible. We were explained, that the hotel was fully booked. That is unacceptable so what.

    Here, i cannot give because of the great pool and slides 6 stars. If you want a beach holiday should be look for another hotel. It is definitely not a real sandy beach. There are 2 large pools (one heated), two smaller pools where you can relax (unheated), a wave pool (heated), and 2 children's swimming pools (probably heated?). In addition there is 4 tower with various slides (see pictures ) for adults and big kids. The slides (only with ring or mat usable) have (25 & 28 years) after some days of fun. Particularly i could recommend the two freefall slides with mat, and halfpipe with ring. There was while we were there absolutely no waiting time, and all slides were continuous in use (from 10 o'clock in the morning to sunset). Also the water in the slides or the related pool is warmed up. In the spa area there is a fitnessraum with 3 cardio equipment (one broken), a lat train, multi pulley station and a device for legs rather lean equipped. The entertainment and evening shows we couldn't rate. At least was the entertainment not intrusive. Quite on the contrary the entertainment and the sellers at the beach. Simply only annoying. Generally is the beach not very nice. The loungers are very old, partially without cushions and are very close together and it is noisy. There are all 30 meters access to the sea. You can a few very nice fish right on the beach view, an intact reef if you but to no avail. Nevertheless completely clear, warm water (at the end of november/beginning december). The beach is certainly the one or other visit, but if you are to a large extent at the beach to stop would like myself, are looking for another hotel. At the larger pools and at the beach there were enough showers. You have the possibility Midget Golf (18 trains) to play. The but it costs 8 $the hour and more than a rackets and a ball you not.

    The hotel is located by taxi approximately 20 minutes out running time from the airport. Now and then one gets aircraft noise, but we found not disturbing. Furthermore, the hotel from 2 sides by mosques played, but also so, you should in Egypt be prepared and manage. The beach from the Beach Albatros is located about 10 minutes' walk away, and is a long flight of stairs or elevator to reach. From the aqua blu is a shuttle bus back and forth. Fixed hours there is contrary to the information in the hotel not. You are with the lift doesnt one comes first at the beach bar of the Albatros past. Quite right (at the end of the prevent) is then the beach bar the aqua blu. On the premises is a pharmacy with reasonable prices. A souvenir shop, as well as chargeable pub are located on the premises at the entrance to the aquapark. One goes the main entrance out and then left there is still more shops and a snack. Recommendable is to approximately 200 meters the 24/7 supermarket with fixed prices. Free wi-fi there is the café directly next to the hotel (the main entrance is, to the right) Otherwise is in the immediate vicinity not much going on.

A really great holiday. Unfortunately we have to say it for the food no variation and well you need a strong stomach. Staff no german and only rarely english but speak fluent russian \u263a. The beach there is actually not it is the sea breathtaking for every diver a must. You have to say that 90% of the guests russians are so that actually no one thinks the there other nationalities and you everywhere, whether in namaaby or Old Sharm spoken to in russian and, because you didn't understand it and not reacted to russian swearing But if you above ... is we luieben the aqua park is unique and the highlight. read more

    We had two rooms ever 3 beds. A room was ok, the other was a corner room, a mini balcony had and accordingly hardly any light in the whole room. It was very dark. Reasonable size, state of the rooms and furniture were quite bad and dated \u263a. An additional bed was not to need, we have 3 in a double bed to sleep.

    There were 4 restaurant to choose, for us the best were italian and asian. Service staff (only for clearing up) was friendly and worked very fast. Tables were quickly freshly and clean. Tips were not selbsverständlichkeit. Annoying was the 'to pick up drinks', with 4 kids and 2 adults were little. The cleanliness was ok coffee was not enjoyable ; warm water with a little brown color.

    Reception : at check in no information get, nothing. We were back to our suitcases and sent the bellman went to the room brought. We knew not where shall we eat, where we can get the beach towels and so on reception gets therefore no suns... Room cleaning: our rooms were in block 5000.     So much offer but so boring! I have never experienced anything like that! Why? So first the slides. It hung from mood of the life guard at, whether the children slides should be or not. In the morning, you suddenly in the afternoon they were too small. Every time new try, whether it is or not was quite annoying. There were life guards, where the children not under supervision to the active pool, (so with your feet first in depth 150 centimeter). You have the feeling had, the children should not do anything... Animation gave it also, little... Many thanks for Momo and chico, the unserne kids always aufmektsamkeit to and always friendly and in a good mood were! On the other hand was the mini disco-supervisor really embarrassing. She was only annoying and if one child it was, she immediately totally annoyed and hässig response. You can really than a wrong choice call! We had kids from age 10 years, the evaluation would substantially higher.

    Shuttle bus 2 minutes to the beach ok. The is however not to plan risks, but simply back and forth... So don't stress the bus, it's gone \u263a. Are you looking for at the beach a beach chair to the right, there is the beach bar for aquapark-guests. Few shopping possibilities in the immediate near the hotel.

The fun with the slides for each age group is really high. Two pools with various slides very generously designed. Everywhere possibilities for beverages and ice for children. The food repeated, which did not disturb us however, the bathing and pleasure with the children stand with us in the first place. read more

Great family hotel the baden. Unfortunately the beach is from sister hotel a disgrace. Snorkeling was for only snorkelers ( our kids) ok. Apart from that is the beach as well as the sea in a bad condition. Much waste, plastic cups bottles and ( Aldi & Lidl) sacks in the sea the unfortunately the beautiful nature destroy. For experienced snorkelers not recommendable. Hotel staff ( besides at the front desk) friendly and nice. Unfortunately bit lots of russians the locals nerves. read more

Every day it was cleaned. We were lucky and the hotel was everything but fully booked. So you had enough sunbeds in the hotel and at the buffet there was no need to fight.     The room was in size ok, the shower even very big. It was not new, but not dingy and it was clean. Every day per person a bottle of water in the mini bar put. Several times someone came questions, whether we the pool/beach towels replaced therto. Safe and air conditioner worked well.

    The aqua park was good. With the slides was either: from 110 or 120 centimeter and always from 10 years. Our 9-year old son could but on all the slides. Otherwise it was very important, who lifeguard was. With our daughter (6) said the a, it is not a problem and if you have the upstairs, said another, it is too small. For the very small there were two beautiful water parks with small slides, syringes, etc. The pools are not concreted, but it is a slide laid out. Very clean they were not.

    With the shuttle bus, the every 30 minutes drove one to the beach from the sister hotel Beach Albatros, the way you could but also easy on foot manage. The beach we are not convinced, the loungers were old, broken and very quickly occupied. For snorkelling it was great, we had lots of fish seen.
