We had a corner suite booked. At the check-in we need a deposit for one night hinterlgen, since the rooms supposedly not paid would be. When this misunderstanding clarified. The night allegedly without breakfast and we should for breakfast pay. As we also this were able to demonstrate. Wanted the hoitelimmer the credit bit 50,00 Euro belasdten. Of al we this ablehneten we had only the possibility the money in bar to hinterlgen. The corner suite is more a small room as a suite. The bathroom is mega small. The light was in the bathroom not. The it was ... not cleaned. Bellboys was not available. As the free shuttle service to take wanted, there was a lengthy discussion that it is better to walk. read more

On first viewing, the hotel is a bit off-site but after a short time we realized that we were in the middle of the bustling city life. A disadvantage for the most part is that it is just a "passing through" hotel, therefore there is movement by the staircase at around 8 o'clock. Otherwise it is very good and above all there are no Russians. read more

the hotel is for transit for one or two nights. as a single, I have received a room on the fourth floor, where they apparently always in buses arriving Chinese sleep. unfortunately in the early at 6.15 the Chinese peace and restraint. you would think the whole country in the war and peace is in the hallway didn't notice.
the cleanliness of the room was fine, the bathroom is somewhat for a long-term, there are certainly more comfortable hotels in pattaya.
the shuttle to the second road and back is free of charge and worked perfectly. read more

Fly even for years with my family there and find it always nice there. All the rooms are well equipped ( tv, safe, kettle ( tea& coffee free ), fridge hair dryer, Pflegeutensilien and so on) staff is especially friendly and very welcoming. Also at the large pool are always enough chairs available. In addition the hotel lies in a quiet street ( no noise!) and yet in the middle of in the center. With the hotel's own small train one is within a few minutes in the middle in the getümmel (at least 3 shopping center in nearby environment ... )
Was now already the fourth time and would stay again go there. Definitely recommendable! read more

Last year the quality has deteriorated noticeably.
Deluxe room with two narrow the previous single beds.
Superior room with a king size bed this time but without bathrobes, bath slippers, hair dryer and kettle, tea and coffee meter.
In the room on the floor was hair from the previous guests,
Sheets torn. Breakfast without any variation, for Western visitors
not enough. Eggs are cooked to order in the outdoor area. With boiled eggs is asked for the minutes, and this perfect cooked in a 'bowl'. Boiling hot eggs as you can without egg food I do not know. After a ... complaint about verzalzene Patango (yeast pastry) the chef said he has always been the Sunday salt and pepper shakers must search for themselves and were partly very dirty. It seems that nobody is responsible for the replenishment. Also if you both hands full has, is none of the present staff ready, the door open to the outside. By bird droppings dirty chairs were not cleaned after asking, but only with chairs in evidence and were changed the next day still always dirty.
On complaints of numerous defects found awesome to the manager was not responding.
Conclusion: the quality goes down noticeably and the prices for mini bar and restaurant, for example, are unrealistic high! read more

I had this hotel from a stay of two years ago in a good memory. This time was noticeable to me, that there was hardly any normal tourists are in the hotel, but mostly Chinese tour groups, the evening with buses (every night buses 12-15) arrive, like a swarm of locusts in the morning on the mob against 9:00 in the morning and then again to the next hotel. read more

I have stayed in January 2010 the third time in a row at the Mercure. This small hotel is located in the heart of pattaya and offers on its location various shopping and entertainment opportunities.
For peace being fond people and therefore not suitable for families is it. So far, I had felt in me as quite comfortable guest Mercure, since my last stay but not more. The vast majority of the guests were tourists from Japan, China, etc. in the evening the buses came with many arrived, very loud! The room went up to two hours at night and ... absolutely no peace gave. Half to seven hours of the 'Asian' noise woke up again, be a breakfast and again from, the day was again the very few guests on holiday. Of course, no use complaining.
Remedy could create but the management at the the few long term in the upper floors and the connecting guests the lower floors have been moved. A shame to this small charming hotel. read more

For many years I have live in the Mercure if I ever go to pattaya and always come again. The hotel is located in a quiet side street in the otherwise very busy South pattaya-a small oasis of tranquillity. In the meantime, however, be built more hotels in this road, but there are (thankfully) No clubs, bars.
Diagonally opposite the hotel is now a modern, smaller shopping center ready, the offers (next to the shops), snack bar, restaurants and cafes. Also you can reach by the mall The second road very comfortable. Alternatively, the hotel operates a free shuttle service ..., which drives when required, you must be directed not fixed times.
The rooms were either to the quiet pool side (which I prefer) or road/Sea. The road is not busy (so far).
If I had to be asked for negatives:
the hallways have a stone floors and thus not sound muted
the bathroom is quite small, but the shower big
the hotel is also popular Asian guests, (unfortunately) the noise. However, the hotel staff tried European and Asian guests being largely inseparable-it is in the reservation request for a quiet location and reveal themselves as Europeans read more

Despite the construction noise-warning of the organizer quiet atmosphere, hardly any noise. If you prefer the beach, is in the wrong place here: dirty, dangerous 'water '. International guests (focus on Asia and northern Europe). Outside of the hotel was very good to reasonable menu prices speciality restaurants. If you are nocturnal is, will find here the perfect, who has rather differently, the 'find' operation rather disgusting. It was a matter of taste. Worth seeing is the not precisely cheap 'Tiffany show' (about 25 CHF for something more than a hour). read more
