Really impressed! The animation team were lovley, always wanting to talk to you and just be nice in general! I really don't get all the bad complaints, although only 3 stars in my opinion deserved more! It was amazing, the animation was funny and they all speak english too;with one animation team speaking 4 languages! The food was good, there was typical english food too! (chips) The cleaner was lovley spoke good english and all the staff always said hello, Being an adult with 2 children, entertainment is important and it was brilliant, they always want you to get ... involved and on the last day my daughter did get up and danced with the club! Even though the acting and things are done in french they are still funny! They also have someone who talks german, french, english etc so you will always know whats going on! My daughter made a brilliant friendship with all the animation team and they put a smile on her face everyday, they were so lovely! There are two big pools and two childrens pools, one of the pools was empty normally so you could just go in that one! I have not a bad word to say about this hotel! Again I honestly don't unstand the bad reviews! If you are looking for a great holiday you found it) read more

We were pleasantly surprised by our first vacation in Tunisia. Even at the airport we were greeted with a smile, as well as also-I had not yet seen in the country! With the meal I was very pleased-I like Hausmann-board and 'hungere' usually in the vacation-I have not taken even seconds. Unfortunately, the traders were annoying or intrusive-just, therefor the hotel is not responsible or is just the mentality of the people. I have never with Islam and I believe a certain amount of concern, however: in general the people are not better or worse than we Europeans and especially ... on the disco just as easily (the women!). Conclusion: we come back to visit Tunisia, since we are dealing with peace, relaxation and recreation found. With regard to peace/entertainment: was just right: no noise, crowds-just lovely and relaxing. read more

I read the past reviews and I wonder, what the people actually expect /?
Admittedly, the plant came into the years, but this will not be possession of it. Admittedly, the one or the other tile missing in the bathroom and the joints are not white anymore. Also has a screw recognized rust, but the rooms were very clean, towels changed every day and the beds were comfortable.
The food was varied and light and non-alcoholic drinks as well as there was good, Tunisian wine and a cool, local beer. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (perhaps that has ... something to do with a sometimes mentioned 'Schu crane' = Thank together). We found everything important (all inclusive for a low price) with a beautiful beach and we were not disappointed!
Shopping possibilities in the immediate vicinity and attractions within easy reach. A tip: go with the cab drivers mind fixed (to Hammamet the six dinars, after nabeul Five dinars). With taxameter-trips increased the most curious ☺
I can only speak for the off-season: it was quiet and relaxing.
And broken handle cups, we have no idea. read more

We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday. The hotel is something in the years come, is renovated eager. The room are very beautiful, each day cleaned, towels changed each day (if required) and the beds often with flowers. We were always amazed again. Our bathroom was completely newly furnished and newly tiled. The view from the balcony to the sea was a real treat and had many selections for photos.
The food was very tasty and varied, it could each day, at noon and in the evening, for a variety of meat and fish dishes, very delicious vegetables and casseroles ... be selected dishes, salad buffet was mandatory and the desserts. Great. Sometimes missing unfortunately parts of the silverware, were brought immediately but, if one has asked. We experienced all the staff to be very friendly and helpful, the is also a compliment and a small tip has pleased. Drinks were plenty of it at the different bars. The pool was cleaned each day and was very clean, wasn't used by us but not so often, because the beach was simply a dream. The animation offered many opportunities throughout the day and was very varied, if you wanted, you could but also in peace enjoy your holiday.
We felt the hotel les Colombes us very comfortable and will certainly come again. read more

Old Hotel, thank God it was clean. Because of 'all inclusive' , everything is extra. Food was less than lukewarm and hardly any choice. The good: very nice staff, almost all speak German/English and naturally French. Nice animation team, just don't believe everything you read, what is said. Unfortunately no entertainment for kids. read more

The hotel is located about 1/2 hour from the airport Monastir two directly on the beautiful sandy beach. The rooms have balconies and most of them also a view of the sea. The rooms are a good size, nice beds and a nice balcony with possibility to sit. The worst part of the hotel is the food and the cleanliness. We had booked all inclusive, the food was always cold. There is a good selection but unfortunately it was all cold. The tables were never equipped with new table cloths, were always dirty and stained. Drinks yourself at 20.50 ... emptied at a table, there was coke, Fanta, sprite and water (Tunisia). Furthermore, liquor (wine and beer).
The quality and taste of the food were always friendly, sometimes a bit annoying (animation) but we knew that beforehand. Almost all spoke German or English. The cleaning staff only made the beds (not changed) and the towels were changed only after a request. It was not cleaned. The best thing about the hotel is really close to the beach.2 minutes on foot and you're right on a great sandy beach. The guests in hotel is mostly Eastern European and many locals. Little German we had. Definitely recommend a tour with a catamaran and a trip to nabeul to the market. All excursions at the local travel line book and not on the beach. read more

In our opinion, this hotel deserves more than two stars. Old, rusted, renovation needed, Kakar sheets isolated in the lobby (29 July 2010) seen. The pool was dirty, mushrooms, simply poured water bucket (twice seen). Cleanliness left a lot to be desired! The food and the tables were dirty (mostly). On the third day the stomach. dirty plates, no cutlery for the most part. Fruit was scarce as well as spices (salt, pepper.) allowed anybody in the bottle of water in your room, except itself. Entertainers disinterested. Water aerobics, mini golf, or perhaps to much effort!? Bingo and karaoke ... show entertaining but unfortunately long into the night. So it (with small children) towards is.
The beach is beautiful and very clean. Has many attractions, for a fee. Tons of pushy beach vendors. read more

Awful hotel - very disappointing archived

This was the worst hotel that i have stayed in. I went with my elderly mother and two sisters. We were unhappy from the start. Every other morning alternated betwen a boiled egg and a very sloppy disgusting scrambled egg. If you got into the dining room at the latter end of the morning then usually eggs were gone, they did not replenish until close of restaurant, Food at other meals was very unvaried, and again hit and miss regarding how appetizing it was. Snacks were supposed to be served between 3.30 and 5pm, this happened at 4pm and ... you were lucky if it lasted till 4.30 once the unappetizing cold, hard minute pieces of pizza and small soggy leftover salad sandwiches were gone, you missed it. Hotel was very dirty, as was our room. Windows were smeared, could hardly see out of them. Walls and doors were dirty. Toilet broken, bathroom door could not even be shut. Pool area was dirty, restaurant was dirty - remains of dinner the night before could be found on the dirty tables and the floor. Needless to say everyone we spoke to all felt and said the same.English was not spoken by many of the staff including reception in the hotel, so trying to get things across was difficult.
Luckily our Rep. was able to find us another hotel just over the road (Hotel Albatros) the day after we arrived as we refused to stay at this hotel.
Overall, it was very very depressing to arrive at a 3-star, all-inclusive hotel expecting some sort of basic class, only to find a very, very dirty and run-down place. And we lost a day out of our one-week stay there. Interestingly, when we complained to our travel agent (Neckerman/Thomas Cook) we were told that "an African 3-star hotel is not quite the same as a European 3-star". Of course no-one warned us about this when I booked the holiday. No Comment! Despite this Tunisia is Still a lovely place to visit, but please if you want it to be enjoyable DO NOT STOP IN THIS HOTEL. read more
