A very nice, well situated hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. We had a great room, cleaning was very good. The breakfast buffet simply magnificent... Delicious... Wellness area very nice, peaceful atmosphere. Were in the 14 -Gault-Millau restaurant and in the Italian restaurant food, in both rest. Service and food is great! In short: a beautiful, recommendable hotel to enjoy! read more

Very friendly front desk, there was a welcome drink, quick check in and accompaniment to room 54 in the main building. So you on the different building an overview gets there was a Situationsplan. The room was nice and big with a balcony and 2 sun loungers, large comfortable bed, big flatscreen tv, bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet, mini bar. Everything clean and tidy. Only the bathroom had a little sticky floor, I assume so that you do not slip. Entire hotel features Wi-Fi. By underground tunnels ( unfortunately always with the same music) one arrives in ... the delight spa with outdoor swimming pool warm, indoor pool was a bit cooler, various saunas and steam bath, as well as a naturpool cool. Everything very tidy and clean. There were various teas, Dörrfrüchte and fresh fruit as snack in the spa. The massage had perfect quality. We booked half board and once in the little China food and once in the pomodoro. Food, service, selection and ambiance in two restaurant very good. What especially happy is the I with all the staff speak in dialect could, what else in CH hotels is not the case. In the evening was a flyer 'holiday news' on the bed with information for the next day. As a hotel guest there was also free mountain railway tickets, the valley station is 15 minutes away on foot reachable. Also a nice walk is caumasee, about minutes reachable. read more

Under the Fürhung of Urs and Yasmin is the five star hotel still better became. The several building comprehensive very ample hotel area was in a dreamlike area. very nice generous plant, really quiet located in a private park. We stayed at the villa Silvana room 331. This is the four-star superior. Everywhere very clean. Longer Paths, and overhead between the individual buildings. Right many families with children, all age groups, many nations. read more

    beautiful not very large rooms in an old villa with balcony and views. As requested, I was given a larger TV ZV provided, the 4S category corresponds. Clean, but a curtain was ripped and the shower hose zerknickt but functional. Bathroom only with shower, no tub, no bidet. Was adjacent to the elevator, which one silent can hear.

    All of my requests in the book were taken into account. Very friendly helpful staff. With the Zeitungsbestellung it has not worked so well, as advertised, but it was fixed. Cleaning of the rooms and deployment spick-and-span.

The infrastructure a number of building distributed, located in a wonderful park in flims waldhaus (top of flims village). Excellent I think the resort dine around: instead of classic half board you can take the room price to paying overall the resort belonging restaurants food, for example the pomodoro (a pizza place with large games room, with children ideal), little China, the lounge bar, restaurant Curler (not very romantic, but classic Swiss kitchen special offers such as fondue and you can the Curlern watch, so with children also very convenient), and then the classic Grand restaurant. So you have lots ... of variety, even if you longer the waldhaus lodges. It was great many families with children, and in particular from Switzerland, but also from Germany. The hotel room was commodious, however yet all rooms are not on the newest conditions. Cleanliness top, also in the spa area during high-business. read more

    the roomsSize is compared with other hotel above average. Unfortunately, not all rooms freshly renovated ( for example window, doors, bathroom). The freshly renovated Bath rooms are very nice( beautiful Stone floors, beautiful tiles, bathtub and separate shower - only fly in the ointment was the cheap plasticchair). In the pavilion and spa area everything is renovated, in main building there are regarding that to hold needs, but is detected. Cleanliness excellent.

    The catering is extremely varied, both in relation to number of different restaurants, prices (of 17 Gault Millau points crowned restaurant to the basic Italian), as well as kitchen style. The concept of dine-around, I think, is a great idea. Quality of the food in the lounge, bar and Curler restaurant was very good. The pomodoro there were fluctuations, excellent the saffron-risotto, when I would have Saltimbocca better cut meat liked. I hope no edl -Italian, but a bit more attention to detail and quality, as a model could for example Bind Ella's Santa Lucia-chain serve. But the Pomodore is every evening until the last square full, places are twice per evening sold, the guests appears to be very satisfied.

    Since my last stay the service extremely improved. This is already in terms of the information recognisable: very friendly and helpful Assisting to front desk and concierge. Personal greeting by the very likeable direction-the couple. Breakfast the staff were capable, this time very attentive, a large increase compared to my last visit. Children, the food in the kids' Club, to a buffet free use-beats every children-' Hearts. When something went wrong again( kitchen from the rush overburdened) the service reacted-employee very well and thus the trouble more than alleviated. Mistake may everywhere -like on it will respond is vital and the girl in this case excellent resolved.

    The park is really one-time - in the summer for the children plenty of opportunities, but also in the winter, we for example a snow House built. Kids club was very nice. The spa area is very modern and Nice (it has an outdoor swimming pool with 33 °-yesterday for example I was outside in the water when it snowed, a very beautiful feeling. Still is the peaceand pool chair area the size the resort too small -when there was high season as it is now between Christmas and new year, there are no free beach chair.

    The resort is really the hotel complex. In a very large park with old trees are the mainbuilding, the'pavilion' with a lounge, bar and several restaurants, the spa area and two other building with rooms 4-and 5-in Starcategory. All building through tunnel underground developed, especially in the winter. For families with children and it is therefore incredibly nice dogs. Flims is tight 90 minutes from Zurich reachable. Flims is unfortunately missing a classic village center, the rather few shops are situated on the main street, which despite ring road traffic is very busy. The skiing area very large and nice. Perfect is the taxi service of the hotel: within Flims is free to all restaurants, shops, etc. and then picked up again. Of course there is also a ski bus.

As always, i am pleased, in the 5 stars hotel to be. Enjoy the excessive buffet with the friendly (including 3 trainees, which i especially nice felt ), the spa with a on the newest conditions is provided, rich offer. Here i praise particularly the competent staff. A highlight was the gastronomy. Particularly i would like to the restaurant epoca mention. For wine connoisseurs and gourmets a must. Moreover, sometimes but the sun was shining, rented a ebike (free!) And cycled in the magnificent alpine scenery. read more

Since my stay the weather was less inviting for walks, I have the wellness area used with its versatile people he establishes a valuable framework for peace and movement. I wonder, how this hotel on the list of leading hotels can be. The rooms are old and very loud. Vacuum on Sunday morning at 08,30! No apology, management was not seen. Very disappointing for the price. read more

We were greeted very friendly and accommodating and during the whole stay the staff was absolutely super service. The room in grand Hotel was very nice, especially the bed was extremely large and comfortable, just lovely. The dinner was outstanding and the little china stay at the hotel's Spa area was beautiful and relaxing. We can only recommend the hotel most warmly! read more

My wife and I spent an unforgettable weekend in the waldhaus flims. Everything was okay, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the management gave us personally and the food was excellent. Particularly impressed us the large wellness area with indoor and outdoor swimming pool, saunas, etc. many thanks and we'll be back! read more

We have stayed twice in winter in the waldhaus and loved it and we are staying for a weekend in the summer time, it was good. The breakfast was above average and the selection of the food was much lower. The service was not so good-it was much less staff. We paid for a room for one night and CHF 600 superior therefor you could expect more. The atmosphere and the furnishings in the dining and bar areas were experienced as always great. read more

Great view from the rooms, very nice spa, and wellness. Pools are very nice, but not huge (nice size). The heated outdoor pool is fun. Rooms are spacious. wonderful meeting facilities and functionality read more

An extensive beautiful area with a lot of green. The historical buildings are newly renovated to a high standard.HCLFHLMy room (in the grand Hotel) was rather below my expectation, after a long day of the seminar I would be grateful for a bathtub. former A box/tv on a stiff roll table no stylistisches highlight. The free Internet access in the room during our entire stay not satisfactory (serial Unterbrüche) work.HCLFHLBreakfast was good, but the highlight the 'Museum-dinner' in the basement of the Pavilons. Culinary great, in a fantastic setting, and a great idea, each course in another room. read more
