Great facilities, everywhere friendly staff, however we had for 5 star expected more. Very worn-out rooms. Food was sufficient very wide choice, unfortunately 12 days afternoons and evenings always the same offer. For breakfast great fresh fruit juice. Chairs on the beach 07:00 hours and pool at least 10:00 a. m. without towel not. ( in so a plant simply not acceptable) selection of drinks in all-inclusive is not bad, however, also here were our expectations not met. Booked excursions with the travel guide locally for my taste too expensive. For example 20 minutes swimming with dolphins 3 ... people 435 Euro + 140 Euro for pictures. Hotel photographer was the hit. We have on the complex and at the beach your picture taken. ( wanted a family portrait ) 50 Euro the entrance price. After we xeroxed had were 50 images for 700 (yes seven hundred ) Dollar offered. Price-performance ratio unfortunately not only with these examples. Trip Island of Saona definitely recommendable. Actually we were satisfied, but because a few small things it was the perfect experience. We were for the first time in the dom. Republic and had 10 days booked. We wanted only into another hotel, what because of the short time our reservation however no longer available. Our travel agency had us then the palladium bavaro recommended. We had because of the bad reviews from the start not a good feeling, which unfortunately has confirmed. The whole hotel area it is huge and very spacious. She consists of 3 associated hotels Grand Palladium Bavaro, palace and the royal suites ... tourquesa. The palladium hotels the spanish fiesta group on a huge property directly at the sandy Playa Bavaro about 25 kilometer north-west of Punta Cana. The palladium has a private power station and is shielded by high walls. From dominican life of everyday life, including in comparison to Europa the higher crime, you get little with. By the hotel complex to drive, there is a shuttle service from 10 o'clock morning until 2 o'clock early Free drives. The journey from the airport to the palladium is 20-30 minutes. We had 2 sinks, shower and jacuzzi. In the bathroom there were two large windows. The shower was a bit moldy, but you definitely not may avoid, but times could be renovated. We had with a view of the sea booked, got this but not. After which principle the rooms the guests to be allocated, is not comprehensible. So we have a german couples met, during their stay 5 tickets needed! The mini bar daily with beer, Cola, Fanta and water stocked. In-room amenities include iron and scales a safe, whose use in the price included is, and bathrobes. We had a few a few mosquitoes in our room, because we the air conditioning during the night not within walking distance and the door to the balcony open left. On malaria one needs here but not to worry. The state of the room alone was alright. However we had once a dirty towel And once a dirty towel with blood stains on them. The cleanliness at the beach was in comparison with the other hotels the best. Seaweed was removed and it ran many gardeners rum. The toilets at the beach were spotlessly clean. But hotel guests left articles at the beach were ignored. Our room was very centrally located, so we only a couple of minutes to the pool, where the towel service is, to the breakfast room or to the beach had. This hotel is recommended to us and we are also impressed. There are beautiful well kept units under palm trees, very well maintained gardens and a very friendly staff. Food and drinks only the best in the whole complex. Several hot water pools and everything right on the long beach. Super! read more

We usually prefer smaller hotels, but the size was not a problem for us, it was big enough for everybody everything. The hotel and it's facilities are very well maintained. Wi-fi in of the lobby in the evening very slow, under tags faster. We had booked all inclusive and there was absolute oversupply. The guests from the east were totally in the majority, then canadians, french, a few german, swiss and austrians. Whereas the quota for the east perhaps somewhat be reduced should, because also other guests could the guests from the east not understand, or their clothes, or handling ... during the meal or the art at the beach. Average age was mixed, from young to the young at heart. read more

We heard from other guests, that partly already at 5 o'clock in the morning this be occupied. We were in the 1. week our vacation around 6.45 at the beach and have umbrella with chairs can get, in the 2. week had the alarm clock on 6.10 to at least an umbrella with chairs to get. It is a bit steep. Us it is not happen, but german we learned, that simply the towels and personal way was, unfortunately of guests from the east.

    We were just in the main restaurant and the surplus really surprised us. If you didn't find anything here, sorry, the also at home in his fridge nothing.     We drove from the airport around 30 to 35 minutes went very smoothly. We had a room nearby the main pool and the beach was centrally located. At the start everything seemed far away to be, but after a few days was all fast attainable. We were not out.

The entire resort is huge and very spacious. It consists of 4 associated hotels (Grand Palladium Bavaro, palace, Punta Cana and the royal suites tourquesa ). By the hotel complex to drive, there is a shuttle service from 10 o'clock in the morning until 02 hours early always drives. Is very pleasant if you are tired. But it is worthwhile also the complex on foot to explore, since they really clean and a large variety of plants offers. The gardners worked around the hour in order to make everything perfect. There are very many buffet-style restaurant and 8 à la ... carte restaurant. Italian, brazilian, chinese, japanese, mexican, french, mediterranean, spanish. There is 4 pools, the really beautifully laid out. However, i must say, that the age the hotel in some places can see. Some places are quite worn. However, that doesn't matter, to dream vacation has it enough. Furthermore, the complex constantly renovated. And there always guests are there, you can not all at once renovate. read more

    We had room 1395 villa 39 we had booked a budget room. It was very clean, the air conditioning worked great, only sometimes you unfortunately somewhat squeaky. It was also a fan, an iron and ironing board and a röhrenbildfernsehr in the room. The mini bar was always filled up. Unfortunately i must here a few cons soutenant, since it was already very worn out. (made us but nothing, since we spar tip booked). The rooms all renovated. A part of it (the more expensive further in front at the beach) were already renovated. With time, this go on. We still felt very comfortable in the room felt, could sleep very well and felt 'home' The cleaning ladies were very efficient and from towels shaped sculptures and pretty colorful blooms all very nice decorated. The rooms were always piccobello clean.

    The food was varied and plentiful. It tasty excellent and my expectations succeeded. There is a huge choice of fruits, meat, side dishes, and especially desserts. In the büfettresterants there is every day a topic for example: dominican, spanish, italian, mexican, chinese, but since changes unfortunately not very much. Really recommendable are the à la carte restaurant: bamboo, the brazilians and the steakhouse, and the japanese (showcooking you have to on the same day at 6:00 p. m. reserve in advance). At the à la carte restaurant you have to unfortunately somewhat wait. But the wait is worthwhile, because the dishes are really good. During the waiting you could cocktails at the bar and get a pager, the flashes as soon as the table.

    The service is really very good, the people gave themselves much trouble and were always very pleasant and polite. Some of the restaurants are easily gestresst, were but nevertheless friendly. If you with 'hola' or ' buenos dias' welcomes, then they very pleased. So a two words spanish can never harm. In the restaurants i had the feeling, that they under-staffed. For incomprehensible reasons we had the beverages not ourselves, but had to order. Until one finally came one has already everything had gone by. If you then ordered they could wait forever and was already half die of thirst. But nevertheless all were very hard. It should be in the restaurants and bars only more staff.

    There are 4 large pools. These are really well equipped, with a pool bar and enough space. They were never completely crowded, so you could in peace, ball games, swimming, diving etc. The loungers one should however already before the breakfast show, as pool are scarce. From 09:00 a. m. everything was full. Sports facilities there is enough, there is a fitness center (the equipment are a bit worn out), spa, sauna, jacuzzi, football field, tennis courts, beach volleyball, Midget Golf, table tennis, basketball and much more, Wi-fi is available in of the lobby, however, this is very slow, as always lots of people on the internet are.

    The hotel is directly at the long sandy beach. Depending on the location of the room you have a few minutes walk to go. Outside the hotel there is actually not greatly much to see. As we advise a rather the 'tour operator' offered to book excursions, which are worth seeing. We were from the trip to Saona really amazed.

We just came from a vacation stay in the Grand Palladium Bavaro back. We were there in this hotel the 6. year in a row. A fairly detailed hotel review i have last year drafted and would like to therefore this here repeat. Initially we got a deal of attention to this, whether because of our and negative reviews other from the last year little has changed. This seems definitely not to be the case, but it definitely not a financial problem, but a purely organizational with any statement would be. It seems to me the comment of hotel access ... a mandatory to say, in any assessment repeatedly. A for years offered room-reservation (tentatively ) of the hotel management we were giving an e-mail -address recommended by instruction, a timely filing active. This we had in mind-but without success. Our revenues problem (what we in the previous years never knew) was: the room service. Unfortunately we were already in place from other guests faced, heard now from holiday friends, we 2 years on the complex got to know and now again on the complex were, that the same problem and if you reviews other guests persecuted, this is a very common issue. That the stay this year quite soured, were amongst others the following points: It was in the whole 14 days our stay no escutcheon (please do not disturb, room clean) The arrangement with our move was arranged lovelessly, which we otherwise not at all experienced. The bathtub after use not cleaned. The shower mat for the shower missing from time to time. Glass walls are forever had not been cleaned. Waste paper basket not ready. Absolutely not used towels were removed and not replaced, so that no were available. Bottles (shampoo, shower gel, etc.) Were partly not filled up and so on and so on This strikes me as something of a mess to be. It is me incongrous, why it is so difficult, after completed work with a view to control, if everything was settled and is available, before the door closed. It was a wonderful palm trees garden, in the lots of small villas stood. Great beach. The staff were mostly very friendly and accommodating. Since we needed neither spanish and only inadequate english, we had at the start of the trip because of the assessment of some travelers so our concerns, but were unfounded. At the front desk one was always endeavors us to understand and very helpful. Once we had both room in the room and shut the door. Have the at the front desk with our small language skills and you made a huge effort us to understand ... and us helped. I can the burteilung some of the guest not understand. The universe inklucive -offer was perfect. The minibar is refilled everyday and in the restaurants there was nothing to complain about. Was in the specialty restaurant times no free space, then one came on a waiting list and you'll very comfortable bar 'serve' can, because one was notified, if the table was free. All of the staff in all restaurants was always friendly and courteous. With the cleanliness, in the bathroom was lacking. We had a junior suite and were there the shower and the toilet again through a glass wall from the remaining room separately. This glass walls never had a cloth for cleaning seen i think. Also one should the blinds in the bathroom the windows rather keep down, the sight of the dirty window is also not so nice. The is however also the 'only, what it to complain about. That we bad luck with the weather had. That neither the hotel still jahn-reisen. A remark to the travel guide from jahn-reisen. The tour operator was every day on-site. He offered us, that we our post not in the mailbox are, but per map 2 Dollar to be, then sends the maps of dpd to Germany. The takes about 7 days. There are in the meantime 20 days past, the post office however not there yet? It was a rip-off? At the beach were always chairs available and if you are not a favorite place had, then you always vacant chairs found. All together it could have been so a lovely vacation can be, if not the weather so sad would have been. We had every day rain. read more

There was details which one complain about could like for instance a clogged toilet, missing taps! (memory?!) On the way home singing canadian/american (loud however therefor bad), What however that is, that also the other nations feel comfortable. To the staff one can only say, you have to get used to it.!. Because' they are so friendly, that one at home only once an training to make, in order to regain Knowing what friendliness is'. Since first forgave a you happy, that some neither english nor german. (but why did you hands and feet) For dining, so if ... you're at this selection't find which him tastes, is either with the existing offer absolutely overburdened, does something possibly for the first time and the question is: 'what is the'?!. Because the risk with excess luggage at the hips to go home is very likely. (one should before 2/3 kilos to decrease, helps with the choice immense!). The beach is just: nice but.! Since the sun (proximity to equator!) Their work very thorough power, you should now and then also in the shade withdraw. (can). Unfortunately it is also here usual, using towels sun loungers to reserve, whether they need over there or also not. Which means, that the people, who tend to get the brownness a hummers to own, with quick steps (of course the other outpacing) the a or other shady place to secure. (important, if you have kids). The promised partly german speaking monitoring was missing entirely (only spanish, english, french and russian.! ) The us to next costs were way too low recognized (pictures/ videos = 90, -$ instead of 30, -$) But by the kindness of the people these ' details 'soon forget. We can only say, we are on recommendation of friends and no second long regret it. This wasn't our last time there.! read more

We have a very nice vacation in this hotel had. Ideal for beach vacation. Really beautiful beach and beautiful pool. We had a beautiful junior suite with a sofa and large lcd tv. We ( 2 paare) were more than satisfied with our vacation. The bavaro has a dreamlike beach. Where we every day felt very comfortable have. We had only 2 minutes to the beach ( room 1235 and 1255). There is nothing to fault. The very big complex was very well-kept and simply beautiful. You can really feel 14 days detain without the you 'full' is. Staff are very friendly and always make an effort the guests satisfied. Many perform their work singing and dancing. ( what also good mood). Tip is not necessary in order to the staff nice. They ... are without. We have nevertheless gladly something. Currency $ Dollar. Tips: the best money at home already exchange. Cigarettes in the flier buy. There 7 $ Dollar. Enough suntan creams take ( very expensive there) Tip for the hotel: your facilitities are so beautiful and very big. It would be nice if on the path here and there times a bank would. So that one also times can sit around the nice hotel to enjoy. ( there are lots of people not so are light on their feet) read more

The complex is very green and very well maintained. We were this year the 5 time and had the first two times Punta Cana part booked, then twice the bavaro and this time with the whole family the bavaro part, because there the rooms clearly nicer. Unfortunately we were in the smallest rooms in the Punta Cana building, which was very annoying. We ... had already in may 2012 booked and we were told, the bavaro-part no rooms more freely would be.     This year the rooms rather bad. Although we bavaro booked, we have Punta Cana room and also the smallest corner room. It was more than annoying. This year also had of 4 double rooms two cockroaches in the room. In a room was the air conditioning broken, which 4 days to repair gvedauert has, in another our double room, the hair dryer not working properly, in another double room has it in the bath by the lamp hereingeregnet, happened 3 days before departure and to check out despite repeated message was not repaired. As we in the 4 previous aufenthalöten not known.

We got instead of the booked deluxe room a free upgrade for a junior suite. This was freshly renovated, large clean and had a wonderful large bathroom with round jacuzzi. The whole garden area, the design of the houses and pools was really wonderful. Off course the hotel is, through the association of 4 hotel facilities quite large but very well arranged. The paths from the room to the pools to the beach or restaurants are quite possible to go on foot. You have to definitely not by train or golf carts drove around are. Especially we would like to ... highlight the staff's hospitality even without constant 'grease '. Therefore, that the service always changed or we also in different restaurants were, we had rarely always the same service staff. We were but from all, no matter wether the day before of us tg received or not, right friendly and accommodating treated. Especially nice were the girls of the mini club, the patient and loving our 4-year-old daughter ones. Thanks to the kitchen! There was every morning almost 10 different freshly squeezed fruit juices and always fresh fruit and salad. The warm dishes in the buffet restaurant we have also very good tasty. The spanish and brazilian restaurant we can recommend, the other we didn't try them, ' s us at the buffet so tasted good. Luckily there was a very good equipped gym and excellent jogging paths. The only thing that bothered us was the entertainment from three o'clock in the afternoon. Not the entertainment itself, which was not bad. The usual games stop, only the volume! A few decibels less would have done it done. Besides there was at each bar, to aerobics and in the daily animation apparently only a cd! To three days you can never hear. It was annoying \u263a. Oh the beach i almost forgot. Dreamlike sand, soft without pieksige mussels, clear water and beautiful waves, lush palm trees. A real postkartenidyll. read more

Who mass tourism and constant by the pool loves is here quite in good hands. Relaxing holiday as to turn off and relax the hotel is however not recommendable. The classification with 5 stars is even in the internal comparison the hotel (4 hotels) more a joke. The rooms are badly in need of repair (after heavy rain the room was gefutetet ) and the kitchen is below average.
