A hotel, that americans and canadian visitors gladly booked. For german tourist habituation needy. Very loud by the pool. The food is on american visitors vote. In general everything was very noisy. The entertainer tried with much noise attention to produce. The rooms are poorly soundproofed, the love play the neighbors lovemaking. Also the staff in the morning, not very nervous with the doors to. Somewhere in the floor is always a door shut. The food is always lukewarm and partly frozen. However tried the staff the cold food fast remedy to create. However one has no appetite more, after ... you frozen bitten has. In general has this hotel no 5 stars. I think Riu assigns itself the stars. read more

Ideal badehotel with excellent service at pool and in the restaurants! Choice of food very good And quality reasonable. Room well, occasionally already again in need of renovation. Manager the reception (very good german-speaking!) Very helpful and friendly. Beach area Should be a little better taken care of and is not five stars worthy. Pool we were very well looked after And served (every 10 minutes after wishes asked!). Wi-fi in the whole hotel free! All together a very pleasant hotel. read more

The hotel is very recommendable for all, which attach importance on luxury and good dining and additionaly directly at the beach want to be. The hotel is huge, we have therefore never lots of people at once met. The all-inclusive offer is plenty and good. The condition the hotel is very good and everything is clean. German you but little (what in my opinion abroad not necessary is). To 80% you americans. The rest were tourists from south america, Canada, England, France. There were mainly couples in the hotel. For families i would not recommend, since little for children was ... offered. There would be for example the club hotel RIU Tequila better suitable. It would be couples of all age groups here. Here also everyone from young to old. read more

    The size of the rooms was completely sufficient. The rooms are not definitely modern-but elegantly furnished. Huge bed, small seating area with a flat screen tv, mini bar, iron, closet, luggage rack, enough big bath with a bath (and unfortunately with shower curtain), coffee maker, telephone, air conditioning, fan, balcony with chairs and tisschen. Even room service it could have been given.

    The gastronomy was more than excellent. In buffet there is a large choice. Absolutely great were the theme restaurants. Firstly excellent kitchen and also something else than in the buffet, secondly, more pleasant atmosphere, since no constant running around and there are not so many people, the third one was served. The theme can as often as you want to be visited. There are two essenssitzungen and you have to (in the lobby) reserve. We have the brazilian restaurant, fusion gourmet, steak house and the mexican tested. (our favorite were fusion gourmet and brazilian). Japanese it would still exist. There was also high quality dishes such as Hummer and beef filet. The theme restaurants didn't use, you are really missing is really something. There is also a rich the offer for cocktails, martinis, liquor, long drinks, warm beverages. All original and no to billigfusel! Everything was fresh and tasted good.

    The waiters was very friendly, attentive and courteous. The plates were immediately cleared away, the beverages constantly refilled and there was even drink service at the beach and at the pool. The languages in the hotel are english and spanish. There is someone german in the hotel, the us 3 times/week in the room called, if everything is okay. The staff pleased over 1-Dollar as a tip. But you get also without a great service. The cleaning of the rooms was cleaned every day and clean and change of towels every day. The mini bar was refilled daily (soft drinks, water, beer, and schnapsspender ). I would Mexico in general not for someone recommend, no english.

    Daily entertainment program with for instance air rifle shooting, Boccia, horseshoes, bingo, lessons, dance lessons, Volleyball, water polo, etc. The entertainment team is very friendly and not intrusive. You say no is it absolutely okay. There is also the possibility for water sports. A gym and spa is also available. In the RIU Tequila there is a disco. The beach is well-tended. The sun loungers are not in the best condition, but you anyway a towel on it. At the beach is not under umbrellas, but under palms-holiday feeling pur! Every evening there was live music. Daily shows for example dance shows with professional dancers, choice to miss/mister Riu, clowntown, etc. The shows were most recommendable.

    The hotel is directly at the white sand beach with beautiful clear türkisen water in the hotel zone of Playa del Carmen. Local you have not. You can the other Riu-hotel free of charge with (drinks, food, etc.). These are comfortable easy to reach on foot. Also a small 'mall' there is about 10 minutes' walk away. Here you find all the souvenirs and knick-knacks (but very expensive!). The transfer to the airport Cancun took approximately 35-40 minutes. In the city center of Playa del Carmen to arrive would probably be a taxi better.

A great hotel with everything the heart desires. For us it was already a luxury holiday, which we so until now has never had. On foot you are about minutes in the small town Playa del Carmen, where it is everything a man or a woman wishes, also lots of small restaurants and bars if you need in all-inclusive. Who still complains here didn't deserve this, is our opinion! read more

Because the hotel in the last time been extensively rated, I like it with a 'lot' leave. Although I had to honestly say, that it is difficult, because it simply a really beautiful hotel is. Hard to believe, that it only 88% recommendation has. We have in the last few years many five star hotels visited, however we have no hotel seen, which in all areas was very clean, as the Riu Palace Riviera Maya. Both the general cleanliness in the rooms and public areas, as well as in the restaurants were pristine. I can't remember, that I 14 days ... a slightly dirty plates or cutlery seen, everything was spotless. The quality of the meals and drinks are very good. It is completely normal, that in 14 days also sometimes repeatedly. The alternative then the 4 à la carte restaurant, also very recommendable are. The staff are very friendly and helpful and tried, to fulfill every wish. This is very like the a or other tip, even if there is no requirement for great service is. It was our desired, free the room with außenblick against a room with a view of the inside area and partly view of the sea to change. With the move help us of course. Many thanks to nemo from the reception. The audience was to our time a very wide-ranging. 40% americans and the rest of canadians, German, argentinian, English, spanish and so on To the american audience was already everything written. The us americans are mostly only a couple days or a week and partying. However artet not in pure saufveranstaltungen from, but there just sometimes often very funny pool parties. Which you can but also withdraw, by you at the time the beach visited. The advantage about the hotel is the immediate proximity to the beach, so that one constantly between pool and beach could change. Point of criticism for me was the slow wi-fi. You can on the day 90 minutes the ' freehotel wi-fi' benefit, but only in the lobby. To in the room wi-fi welcome, you have to 15 Dollar on the day, then 24 hours internal-front desk. Faster it was however also not. This is for such a hotel today not up-to-date anymore and should probably from December change. But that is already the only point, the I didn't like and no remaining impression left. Tips: If you have the TUI booked, can the tour operator free the internet phone. Thanks to Jan from the TUI, the almost every day 2 times a day in the hotel reachable and with all of our questions (and not only when booking from excursions) available. Excursions you can on the TUI book. ( are a bit more expensive, but also very well organized) However you can also without hesitation for service providers at the beach or the agencies before the hotels or at the shopping centre. As it is a little cheaper but also well organized. However can you not German speaking trip offers, since the largest part of americans are. Riu, we will be back, no question! read more

The best Riu-hotel in Pizzeria L'altra, wonderful staff in all areas and excellent food. Very varied and with very good quality designed evening events. Great staff in all areas, as well as really nice people what the entertainment concerneth. Would gladly again vacation in this excellent hotel spend, when it's not so expensive would be, but almost every cent in this great holiday in this hotel paid. read more

You can only recommend this hotel, everything beautiful. The beach with palms trees and white sand in Punta Cana, it is the most beautiful Strandabschhnitt from the Riviera Maya. I also have the Riu Palace Mexico looked at, that is older and the pool area not so nice. We had with a view of the inner courtyard booked, the you can only recommend, since evenings music plays and traders your things offer the all you can from the balcony follow. Fantastic! read more

Beach is however not enough from the garden seaweed cleaned. It is only buried and then from the surf again flushed, thus permanently also in the sea available. In particular the sun lounger, as well as the sun screens by the pool are in urgently a renovation. The hotel is especially north americans very popular (during our stay more than 90%). Absolutely some of the best we experienced. Every wish was from our eyes. Drinks and dish auswahhl is immense. For a all inclusive hotel really great. The free choice of specialities restaurants( crystal, japanese, mexican, italian ) as well as the large terraces restaurant with huge buffet, excellent. Just a pity that the USA guests jeering from morning 10:00 to 18:00 in the pool in the several pool bars sit and vollaufen leave. (and certainly also again out ) the water was after such days cloudy, and smelled of urine and alkohlol!     Distance to the airport three-quarters hours very good. Fantastic beach in eternal length. (we are beach hikers, and 2-3 hours daily the rule ) very well maintained beach and clean facilities. Except for the empty glasses and bottles which the americans simply at the beach, on the complex, on the stairs, in the ashtrays just leave. The beach is not cleaned, the blue beach chairs are in a disastrous state (dirty and through-)-this matched not a five star hotel. Lunch with the food no choice table cloths on the table, drinks partly in plastic cups at the pool. we are so often on the beach along into the RIU Palce Mexico walked-super, the same blue chairs -almost all new state is every ... day cleaned, the beach chairs again nice convival. The pool is nice for relaxing, if the lunch Glasgläser, tablecloths and so on -also the food is in the old RIU Palace better. In short: we were very disappointed from the new Palace and would not more recommend. read more

We have many long-haul journeys done, and always at 4.5 to five star hotels-this was for us a the best, we visited, in particular as regards atmosphere and really very good food. the hotel offers in its drive for its impressive architecture, a styles from neobarock, Belle Epoque and Classicism. You have this property with a small Winking entering, because everything is a bit 'too much': the huge chandeliers, the pinkgolden Rokkoko -seat trimmings and particularly the almost Royale large dome hall, the next to the lobby bar, the ... consequences reminiscent of castles.
