We had 3 days half board than package.
In short:
Service: some reviews criticised here the unfriendliness of the staff. This we can not confirm, everybody was uncommonly friendly and helpful.
I would like to but nevertheless criticize: we had at all 3 days a table with another us unknown couple parts. The very friendly restaurant manager explained to us, that this, that the tables all booked are. We understood. Really the hall then but only half full. At the next days the same: the hall partly only a third filled, many tables free, nevertheless we had to with other ... a table parts.
This irritated not only us, but also most of the others guests. Perhaps you can a better solution find, because i believe it could be lots of them keep, to come.
Quality of the dishes: we travel a lot and have a row of 4 and 5 stars hotels visited. The breakfast need in quality and variety before any other hotel to hide. Excellent, we enjoyed it very much.
The dinner was tasty and varied, but no tip for gourmet lovers, which however also very hard to realize is, if dinner in buffet form be enough. The salads were super fresh, fish and meat soft and not dry. Of course there were the pasta a bit soft, the vegetables. However this is understandable, if the products longer time time to be.
Room: we had often read about it, the rooms are outdated, without fridge. We lived in the house dietz. The room had a great size, new carpet, redecorated, fridge, basic and functional, bedroom, bathroom with shower, extra living room, flatscreen tv. The size in our experience especially loved it, as well as the cleanliness. The atmosphere in the room could still improve, without costly approach to, a few accessories on the walls or even a table in the open corners would all still much more wohnlicher.
Only the cushions were standard 0815, as you often in hotels finds. To the safety i had but my own bring along.
Accessibility of the side building: some write, these are only after long on foot to reach. This is nonsense. If you dare, not the alleys to use, but the outside area used, one is in less than 1 minute in its accommodation.
Main building: a dream! Guests, the modern may, will perhaps less comfortable. This hotel is a piece lively story with breathtaking architecture, partly classical, partly art nouveau. Fantastic receive! I would voluntarily entry pay, this beauty, particularly the stairwells, the winter garden and the dining room to enjoy. A must for people with a sense for aesthetics. You could perhaps consider, the carpets once exchange, they are very used. But the floor was a sensation!
Location: couldn't be better!
Price: a double room with breakfast costs 129 €, adequate. We an arrangement had booked, with 3 nights included breakfast and dinner, in addition 2 kakaobuttermassagen รâ 30 minutes included. The massage was fanstastisch, very competent carried out and very pleasant. We were allowed swimming pool and saunas use, were welcome free have a glass sparkling wine and also included a piece of coffee and cake on one of the days. The kisalistherme we could also for 2 hours visit, without entry pay to have.
For everything together we had only 398 Euro are charged. The felt value was rather with minimum 600 Euro.
Like offered drinks are varied and not overpriced.
In short: a wonderful house with absolute recognition value. And the normal way only the best houses claim. We will definitely again return. Because it is worthwhile. Next time we will probably on half board and instead the hotel's own frankenstube visit, because this was for your good food already excellent and our curiosity piqued. Here are the prices however salted. If you like it's cheaper, a half board-arrangement not regret it.

In the short term as an avowed environmentalist ' kurschatten' for the dad we enjoyed the absolute low season in the hotel logged in. With every course the chad building for us and the paths were not more so long before. The room was very spacious and big and functional. The baby crib was already for our mite is required. Deductions for the food there were for the a relatively hard rice, both the pilzrisotto as the fruity rice pudding. Otherwise was our stay very relaxing and we definitely go in 2013 again. We can only recommend this hotel. Thumbs up! read more

We were too fourth for 3 nights. Size of the room reasonable and clean, in the bathroom unfortunately some hair to find. Because of the age of the hotel work the rooms general a bit shabby. Wellness area good, sauna pool and jacuzzi available. Cleanliness could be better. Better separation between the areas would be useful, from the jacuzzi direct view in the saunas! Dinner buffet delicious and varied and the atmosphere really very nice! Breakfast buffet also varied and very good, the sausages but could fresh his. The only real downside: we had our booked package spa coupons included. ... These could but unfortunately not be redeemed, because it would be no free dates. This is very annoying. All together we had a beautiful extended weekend with much relaxation and good food. We can recommend the hotel. read more

By my late arrival I could the location and exterior in the evening no longer perform. On the next day I was very positively surprised on the top -location am kurpark and the public perception of the hotel, comparable a Grand hotel in the classic style.

Very nice hotel, with much charm. The staff in the service, front desk and room area friendly and helpful.
Breakfast and dinner buffet were great and tasty.
The spa, Bath -, sauna and massage area is designed, that you, if they enter, immediately feel comfortable and unwind.
Room and bathroom are clean and spacious. Sleeping area is unfortunately sparse and cold and the
Bedside lamps with very light, bright light bulbs.
We would in any case spend another vacation there and recommend it! read more

The breakfast is very good and leaves nothing to the imagination.
The dinner is partly very good. The dessert always very tasty.
The appetizer is unfortunately sometimes not diverse, however salad you always get.
Unfortunately the main course always with frozen... Gemüselasagne tiefkühlsuppengemüse. Penne with tiefkühlsuppengemüse.
But the fish is always very tasty and tasteful.

We were in a side building 'house dietz' building. Size of the room corresponds to a suite. However we liked the raumeinteilung less. Large closets are directly opposite entrance and not in the sleeping area. Bathroom from the bedroom from seen on other end of the rooms. Bathroom with establishment of the bathroom seemed from the end of the 80's to be. Bath tub with klappduschkabine at the however a disk with tape was ( four star hotel!?). Washbasin were not more to clean. Routes through corridors and hallways to the main building are very long and bad signs, one ... must nearly in the bathrobe at the front desk past. Age of the guests the beginning was at an average of over 75 years, for midweek were some younger guests in addition.
Peaceful location, directly opposite kurhauskomplex in pedestrian precinct. During the complete decor and decoration missing unfortunately the certain 'something'. read more

The hotel is very large ( approximately 160 rooms). We had a very large room ( corner room with bay window) in the dependance (haus dietz). The room with passage to bedroom we found more than enough, the bathroom invited to dancing. Everything very clean. Of course, the way to the main building with restaurant and wellness area a bit more complicated and longer, but one dryshod reach everything. We had a package ( half board) booked, the whole benefits lots of extras were very attractive. The average age is upscale age, had in Bad Kissingen also nothing other expected. ... Close proximity to kurpark we found very attractive.

Positive:
The hotel is centrally located at the beautiful Kurpark with Kurkonzerten (daily 2a 3 times) and not far from the pedestrian precinct with shops. We had single room in the garden room. This rooms are modernly furnished and big enough. Is excellent also the spa area with a large swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Already for breakfast there was a folder with the dishes ( appetizer, soup of the day, main courses, desserts) from evening buffet. The furnishing of the hotel and the single room the classification of a four star hotel.
Negative:
In the mini bar lacked fridge. ... The beverages and snacks lay merely on the desk.
The buffet in the evening without drinks was the price (25 €when booking in the hotel or 23 €for reservation with a tour operator as Thomas Cook), absolutely not worth it. Every day there was only a hot fish- and meat dish, whereas the fish always steamed, not fried or grilled was.
We have but fortunately with a spa Spezialveranstalter booked, in which the Einzelzimmerpreis with half board under the price of the single room without half board when booking at the hotel was.
In short: Bad Kissingen and the Hotel Kaiserhof Victoria are recommendable. read more

Long distances from the reception and the restaurant to the rooms, for disabled inconvenient.
In the hotel one was not able, us a room nearby my severely disabled, almost blind mother-in-law to give. Altogether was the staff at reception very unfriendly and arrogant.
The service at the breakfast buffet against was very friendly and accommodating. The room was OK, however also nothing more. Room with a balcony meant in the single room: 2 rows tiles, where not even a chair it fit.
Ideal the location: directly at the kurpark.
In short: if you four star hotels from the asiartischen room ... is used, this 4 star hotel be disappointed. read more

The hotel is very central, but nevertheless quiet, the location is simply optimal. It is located opposite the foyer and to the train station it are approximately 500 meters. The guests belong too many the older generation. For strong disabled it is definitely not suitable, since there were small stairways to be overcome. The hotel impressed by its historic atmosphere, the dining room with winter garden and the old stairs are worth seeing. The opposite the rooms are modern and comfortable. My room in the main building had a beautiful renovated bathroom and was also otherwise attractively furnished. Worth mentioning ... is the beautiful, large flatscreen tv, with many digital channels is equipped. The room was but quite heated with about 26 degrees, although it outside cooler was. At high temperatures it could in the room unpleasant. A balcony was not available, but very high window. The hotel has a large wellness area, the appliances are recommendable. The swimming pool is really nice and even has an area with outdoor loungers, where you can get nice relaxation can. A year ago I was already times in the hotel and was from the hotel loved it, but the service in the restaurant annoyed. I was now positively surprised. In the restaurant you were served immediately, the service was very friendly and competent, no comparison to before. The selection at the buffet is good, the quality of the dishes also. For a weekend we were allowed the historic ambiance of this tradition hotel directly at the kurpark can enjoy. Already when checking in we were from the friendly staff receive. This hotel features a very nice restaurant, big room and a pool with sauna and berths. Otherwise is the staff very nice. Nearby there is a very nice thermal bath and a great park.
