Beautiful, small, cozy, quiet resort for those seeking peace and quiet with beautiful massive doppelrundhütten. For a 3 star area very nice and clean.     The restaurant- and bar staff were very attentive and friendly. We really liked the food. If sometimes is not the case, as you like, one says the chef or the waiters answer (for example immaturity pineapple). Meat, fish and vegetables everything very tasty and diverse, exactly like the desserts. The breakfast is good, but it could have been with cheese be enriched, sausage must not be. Roasted small sausages or ham every day. The quality of the drinks at the bar and in the restaurant were excellent (very good cocktails and good wine). The atmosphere at the restaurant and the bar we really liked, everything clean and beautiful quiet.

    The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Complaints are immediately sorted out. The staff speaks english and also somewhat german. The room was cleaned thoroughly, daily fresh bedding with beautiful decoration. Daily half hour free massage per person for karolyne was great (friendly greetings to karolyne!)

    Almost every evening there was a nice entertainment programme. Entertainment on demand, we wanted to have our peace. Condition of the chairs was okay, good cushions, the hand towels were always somewhat damp and sometimes in the morning not yet available.

We were while searching for peace and that we have stayed at the baobab sea lodge kilifi found. Who halligalli searches is here wrongly at the place! One must prior to be aware, that you to Afrika travels and the clocks something different tick, as well as philosophy another is. We used great people meet, what us as spoiled europeans once again on the real problem this world made attentive. The often disreputable beachboys were in kilifi rather entertaining and in the course of the time was had already been rather such a thing like familiarity. Planned excursions, as safari ... or boat tours can completely problem-free with the providers at the beach be booked (max!). Cheap and reliable! Excursions in the immediate area can safely and cheaply with small trains be made. Scheduled should always a few kenia shilling tip be - the people are simply rely on. In the hotel there was a pleasant, informal atmosphere -no wonder with occasional 8 guests. Food and so on was absolutely sufficient and the entertainment was only on explicit request of the guests instead of - great! The baobab sea lodge is a small, cute hotel. We were twice the only guests. Over christmas were 12. the staff, all, is simple great, at friendliness and willingness to help. The kitchen is a catastrophe i had a conversation with the chef. In my opinion is the fault of all, with the purchase. From suppenrindfleisch you can not just steaks make. The soups were all good. But the bar does not. For breakfast, no sausage and cheese. We then in the supermarket bought. If nothing is done, are coming soon not any guests more. I hope the management from ... the hotel read the. The massages from Maria and carolyne were good, and warm greetings to joshoua our waiter. Further recommendation yes, but.! read more

A very pleasant small and beautiful in a great garden embedded lodge hotel. The rooms are all newly renovated have been, including the bathrooms and fixtures. The rooms are huge and always in a very clean state. The whole hotel and garden area was very neat and tidy. We had all-inclusive-food. Wifi is available, costs are negotiable! There were almost exclusively german tourists as couples, the age structure was mixed. read more

    The rooms are nice and after the complete renovation very bright and pleasant. The air conditioning it was very quiet. Every day there was water and tea, and coffee, you even may cause. A tv or telephone does not exist, which we on vacation also do not want and miss. The bathroom is now very clean, the shower, as well as toilets and sink new (there are nothing to complain about).

    There is a very nice pool bar, the but unfortunately not more after 18:00 o'clock was open, what a great shame is, as there is the main meeting place of the guests (hotel guests as well as african and indian). The other bar is nearby of the restaurant. The restaurant is open design, very tidy and clean. Often look a the meerkatzen with the breakfast. Also the kitchen is very clean and tidy. Also here the complete staff first class. The dishes were always-without exception-extremely varied and tasty. There were always multiple main dishes (fish and meat), really great vegetables and many desserts. Here no wishes remain unfulfilled, on the contrary, even if you a meal out wanted, one could not resist. There is a very nice atmosphere and relaxing. Naturally, tips were gladly taken, but never vorgründig for a supplement.

    The service in the lodge is by far the best, the we on vacations ever experienced. All the staff (from the manager and waiters, cooks to the gardener and housekeeping staff are exceptionally friendly, courteous and always tried, also foreign languages to learn. The massage with Maria greatly improved and recommendable. There were no complaints. If you a doctor needs, with quiet conscience to kilifi to local doctor go (treatment costs very cheap).

    There is entertainment as good as not at all, but that is why we are now here for the 3. time %blank%. Omar has a positive transformation of the previous years experiences. On request is he willing to aquagymnastik and kokusnussbowling is required. It has also to our request a bar-b-que by the pool organized, where the pool bar until 23:00 o'clock was open. It was a very nice evening, thank you Omar. There were always beach chairs enough, sun screens are superfluous due to the many palm trees around the pool.

    The lodge lies directly at the beach, via some stairs. The bungalows 1-6 have direct sea view (very nice view). After kilifi you need with the tuk-tuk about 5 minutes, the drive cost no more than 150 Schilling. We are also a few times on foot in the place (about 20 minutes). On the way is the orphanage, which Helmut and Petra Müller very sacrificingly run. Guests are always very welcome. Nightlife was not important to us. It were very nice guests in the hotel, with which one gladly its time has.

    Room was ok, as in the invitation to tender described. Good mattress, dense mosquito net, very good cleaning. Air conditioning worked perfectly and very quiet. Also in the bathroom everything you need is available.

    Kitchen style is very typical of the country and the beverages also. That means everything tastes the same, and i liked it 3 days this sameness not more delicious. Everything trieft before fat, even the vegetables. Potatoes it also every day: fettkartoffeln. The meat is mostly tough and swim in the same sauce. Even the rice trieft before fat... How does that work? Fish i can only recommend, if it fried and breaded is. Folienfisch was a disgrace: immediate würgereflex the swallow. However the hotelkater small Harald thought it was tasty. Breakfast was halfway edible, there was cereal and fresh milk. The dessert but were really good and fresh fruits there was also always.

    Except for a few were all employees very friendly and accommodating. Everyone speaks english and is pleased, if one with them, or a fun with them makes. Here again a special thanks to joshua, with my stomach problems very sacrificingly helped. Also at the front desk is very friendly on questions.

    There is no animation, but this is just perfect and we would have liked. Pool was always cleaned and was beautiful. Freshwater showers were available. Since we never more than 14 guests on the complex were, there were also never problems with beach chairs and cushions. As the but then when fully booked, i do not imagine, then would have Omar get pool chairs and must draw up, had never worked... Omar= lazy bag! Water in the pool is freshwater and cool, the pool pleasantly deep, so that one only the first two meters after the entrance there was.

    Very quiet location, the town with the tuk tuk 5 minutes 2 €. Transfer time from the airport at least 1.5 st. night life does not exist, but we liked it and booked. However You from 23 o'clock from the cash, and this is not always very friendly, even if of 12 guests or 11 in the bar sat and view talking, was at 23 o'clock mercilessly curfew. Excursions should at the beach when Jonathan and max book! Are really great and good value for money! Please do not when Omar, the entertainer book: totally overpriced and i was taken care of him for 20 €cheated!

quiet hotel, good food, very friendly staff, very nice beach at high tide, during low tide you could walk small in the remaining animals waterholes watch. The pool is needs improvement, is however still okay. Green Belt well maintained. No German speaking staff. read more

    a few one must make reductions: the shower drops, the Wasserbassin of the toilet custom forever to get back to fill, which at night very annoying is, as it is in the bed the typical noise heard. In our each room has it drizzled at night, almost on the photographic schweineteure... So please on it eighth. There was no unwelcome guests (Roaches under other). The cleaning lady was very shy and was pleased about every dollar very (I think, it was only for the tip!)

    The hotel offers at the buffet variety. We were thus not often eat. Turn left out of the hotel about 500-700 meters and walk. Then you can see a very good the restaurant, with a good view of the bay. When we were there, it was in the markets fresh Mangos, but in the hotel there was no. I only afterwards asked and I had a whole plate freshly cut mangos for me alone. The staff are always very helpful, dare you, to ask you.

    at the beach there are several nice people, the safari's, boat tours and similar offer. We can recommend Didi Ngua as safari-guide very. Your money (50% in advance) is absolutely sure! We have seen it all, as far as Kenya is so full of fauna and flora. But: it is nature, no one can give a guarantee that, you will see the animals! for a boat trip we can recommend Max. He speaks very good German. Don't forget your camera, plenty of bee-eater fly their trees to sleep. the hotel offers massages in, the lady says Marci and is very pretty and nice.

    airport transfer about hotel is one and a half direct at the beach, it doesn't get closer. With the local transport (Tuk-Tuk) in tight 7 minutes in the center in kilifi and can move freely. In kilifi there are several Kinderheime = definitely see, is an experience! Malindi is about 1 hour km drive, has a beautiful Core and a small wood Carvers market. The largest is located in Mombasa, if you would like to bring Schitz work as a souvenir, is the best place.

The small area was just after our taste. Everything was the best stay (from 10) in Kenya. The food, the bungalow, the restaurant and the staff were excellent. You should not place recommend, in order to maintain the peace, Preiswürdigkeit and the atmosphere. So again it was a great stay, we stayed for February 12 already again 3 weeks booked. read more

Complex manageable, rooms have an appropriate size, are clean and the bungalows are very nicely arranged. At our time of travel too many German vacation guests in the age between 30 and 60. For children and gebbehinderte guests is the complex not at all suitable. No pool for children or other entertainment programs. Gebbehinderte guests it would be difficult for the State to come or in restaurant, since everywhere times more times less stairs are available. read more

    Complex manageable, rooms have an appropriate size, are clean and the bungalows are very nicely arranged. At our time of travel too many German vacation guests in the age between 30 and 60. For children and gebbehinderte guests is the complex not at all suitable. No pool for children or other entertainment programs.     The hotel lies very good. Not far from caliph where you undisturbed can stroll as well outside of the complex. Also the beach, you could enjoy. Beachboys one can count at a hand. At the start it is a little annoying but as soon as you got into conversation and what Bay, it is almost like a friendship. Especially Max, the beach offers, is grown on. This route is really recommendable. The standard of cleanliness at Ali is not bad.

The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. We felt during our 2 week holiday just like in paradise. The guys on the beach safaris offer, were friendly, reliable and tours are offered with the other was comparable-only much cheaper. Ask for Ali undPeterson with the two you can make everything was great. In the first moment super cool but the two are excellent if a little longer mansie knows. So didn't have to worry because they need the money necessary for their families, nThe as diarreah and working for the company ... on site. So you can help the people. Not suitable, if you want to experience something, nearby nothing to undertake. The beach without bathing shoes not accessible and full seaweeds, also there are everywhere Beachboys of peace let. Several people had a little trouble with the stomach of the food. I myself have on soups, lean meat and fish and rice limited as I apparently the fat to roast did not stand. Bedlinen a bit stained (, even though fresh) water is not always fluent-often also dropping. Let us say that the two weeks still very nice were the people there are very friendly! After complaining I was also the mattress as besispiel changed. You should not forget that one was in Africa and the people around nothing! Tip: Old clothes washing clothes etc for the beach Boys ... or take the point! Safari on beach boys totally unproblematic! read more

Quiet hotel with traditional rotondes, an older property, but the staff top maintained. The staff is always friendly and helpful; only at the front desk, you will always have the feeling, that you pulled over the table-> organise excursions preferred having private; the locals are very helpful. The entertainment was a bit lifelessly and unorganized; our trip with the dhow ended, the boat due to risks; but it was at least an adventure. The Holzschitzer ' Farbrik in Malindi is highly recommended and the Haller park nearby of Mombasa. The beach Boys 'try again and again annoying and safaris and ... other trips to sell; but their trips also favorable than the official trips from the Tour operator, and they were just as good. For children is the complex not recommended, as there is no entertainment for children and non-swimmers-pool. Conclusion: just because of the nice and attentive the staff was worth the visit, if you want a quiet holiday on the beach and at the pool would like to make. Very relaxing! read more

We were some years ago already times in Kenya-South Coast diani beach and the difference even wanted to explore. The staff was quiet and the people opened (Beach boys not so pushy) you have invited us into their home, just super nice. The Hotel has gotten old, the staff tried to make the best out of it, the management of the hotel is for complaints thankful. The staff is throughout the day at the turn and (perhaps that is how much people just holiday and how much time the staff therefore). The rooms every day they cleaned, swept and we ... had no reason to complain about concerning the cleanliness-it is now times an older three star hotel. The proximity to the beach is awesome-just a few steps down and you are in the warm ocean (water temperature was about 29 degrees when we were there) was about 35 air degrees. We booked directly a safari at the tour operator -there were only three Euro difference to what the beach Boys and if you have a which is also the other and what (experience of other guests). The food was very tasty and plentiful-of course you can set up to twelve persons not a five-meter long buffet but don't expect it degrees every day meat, fish impressive. Seafood and chic with potatoes, rice and vegetables. 1/2 hour massage from the daily with Marcy was total relaxing. We will definitely be going back again. read more

We had the honeymoon room. The hotel was great, around everything was fine. However were not leisure activities given. Table tennis-too windy for the season. Table soccer-broken. TV-african ☺, the shows the animation were partly good, the artists just wanted to at the end a small reward the food variety limits. Pool boys, or entertainers entertain your cell phone, only on repeated torture make something for couples to the relaxation gigantic. For families not recommendable, as the kids no employment. Room really cool! With a T-shirt as a present one could have a lot of joy ready and get everything! ... Do not frighten before monkeys or similar animals in Africa, not in this hotel.
