Difficult start, but the hotel is worthwhile. Very individual large bungalows. Nice atmosphere. Nice operator. Everything was clean. Delicious food. Fantastic beach in about 10 minutes. Lots of possibilities the costa rica-usual pursuits. read more

The complex is located about 6 kilometers north of samara in a nature reserve, surrounded by mangroves, forest and pastures. Respect on the way there: you must be a approximately 15 meters wide mangrove pass, which depending on the water level, and season problem can. Therefore better a detour of about 8 kilometer on dirt roads in purchase and with dry tyre arrive.
I was in a easy going atmosphere received and spent a nice evening in the open lobby of the hotel with the renter, other guests and pilot of the flying crocodiles, surrounded by the different noises and ... noisy local wildlife.
Each individually and colourful bungalows are set in a tropical garden with a pool.
The breakfast is extensive and delicious. For in between snacks and daily specials offered. Evenings changing, but freshly prepared courses on the menu. Including typical german dishes (for example beef rolls), the i after 4 weeks costaricanischer kitchen very welcome were.
Directly at the area the ultra-light flying center flying crocodiles. From here i a nazca lines in an open gyrocopter, beyond the woods, along the coast with fantastic beaches and bays. An experience of a very special kind. I am looking forward to the next visit. read more

The flying crocodiles lodge was definitely one of the highlights of our Costa Rica holiday! On our way to the pacific coast down we wanted actually only 1-2 nights in the flying crocodiles lodge stay. From this then 4 wonderful days.
The area is very nicely designed and neat. The management the lodge very easy going and personable. For some time the lodge is under new management by Petra willems and Andrea warrior. The two the whole super, and we were from the very first moment on very welcome and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, too.
Petra and Andrea ... we lovingly cared for and even a beach picnic hampers the sunset allows, including tupperschüsseln, cooler and treats. Just so, just as one imagines it. We have also valuable tips to get lonely dream beaches and must-see's and night locations for our onward journey to Costa Rica.
Through an attached school it is possible, gyrocopter -to book flights and even the ticket make. Our nazca lines over samara was amazing! We could amongst others crocodiles in the river and in the sea giant turtles and rays watch. An experience, we will never forget! Animals you see directly on the hotel. In particular, several iguana, the us in its ranks pulled.
In our next Costa Rica stay we will definitely come back! read more

Define a vacation in flying crocodiles as' paradise, multiply it with the infinity, erweiteren to eternity and you have the breath of a idea what we are talking about!
We warenprimär in a private house of the hotel owner and therefore not directly guests in the flying crocodiles. But from the first minute, recognised as such and treated.
Since we as four ul-pilots traveling and the pleasant atmosphere in flying crocodiles really enjoyed, we booked us for a or other night in one of the bungalows of the flying crocodiles a, spent very much time there, ate from Andreas great ... cuisine and enjoyed the time with the exceptionally friendly staff, the hotelbetreiberinnen and accommodated guests.

We stayed on our Costa Rica round trip in october 2012 our three nights in the flying crocodiles really enjoyed. The hotel was us by friends, the in the spring with their two boys vacation made, most warmly recommended. The small complex the eye by different, in the style of Gaudí, built bungalows, the in a very well-kept tropical garden scattered couches. Also various species seems the tropical garden to may. The comfortable lümmelzone around the pool offers a good opportunity to monitor. You preferred in the sea swimming, is about 1 kilometer long, beautiful sandy beach in less than ... 10 minutes easily accessible on foot. The warm welcome by the very motivated german management and the easy going atmosphere wave the unfortunately bad weather more than on-it was still rainy season. Although there is nearby samara some good pub. However for dinner we preferred Andrea's cooking-better than her we in cr not eaten. For the flexibility is a rental car.
Lovingly designed and informally run hotel in quiet, natural environment. read more

During our Costa Rica vacation we arrived about this hotel verbei and one night spend - unfortunately only one. The bungalows were a dream: 2 massive beds left and right next to the massive bathroom. The food was great: freshly prepared to order (was not on the menu).
And the wonderful location...
But the best was the kindness and warmheartedness by owner Petra and its crew.

Flying Crocodile is not the run of mill beach resort escape hospitality place; there are bigger names and fancier accommodation. It is the People that associated with the place that make it special!
Then, with the added "flying" experience, you have to do it yourself to experience the euphoria aspect of "gyro" airplane adventure.
Our Writing group has over 2 people experience "Flying Crocodile"; with 20 different neurotic brains and different imagination. Our conclusion are uniformly "beyond the widest expectation".

The flying crocodiles is a bit off the beaten track ( rental car recommendable nonetheless) but in the middle of great nature and wildlife and is ideal for relaxing, volleyball - simply great to relax - all very nice and helpful - always make an effort. We have the stay enjoyed :-) also 1 times flies despite acrophobia simply brilliant:-)

Our three-week tour of 2300 kilometer long and each region led to the costa rica we croc odil flying.
We had booked all individually and we can recommend the charming and Natures hotels of costa rica. Everything small individual bed & breakfast mittl. Price. 80% of our nights spent we in this bb and felt very comfortable.
The journey to the hotel led by a river and it is a holding satisfying a car.
When we arrived we were friendly welcomed and they allowed us into our room (bungalow) choose. Each of the five bungalows has its own kind of ... funny built and equipped.
The cleanliness of our house was good and the one or the other ant is simply a part of it. The furnishings were a refrigerator, air conditioning and fan.
the complex pool was clean, and the space walk you can see is not enough.
The breakfast and dinner were plentiful, varied and very tasty.
For lonely beach a footpath, the one in 20 minutes walking distance. Along the beach, you got 45 minutes after a turtle breeding farm, you can see.
The hotel also has a small airfield, where you with so-called flight screwdriver circular flights can book. read more

This wonderful Hotel area is really to relax. The bungalows are magical laid out and equipped, small quaint laid out Oasis with hammocks around the pool very tastefully. The breakfast was very varied and, while in the evening only one menu was offered, this was always excellently prepared and didn't leave any wishes open. Therefor I would like once again to elisabeth and your kitchen fairy thank you. And especially enjoyed both my family, as well as I the indescribably amazing flights with guido and its flying dragons. read more
