    We had one night a room in the new building, very stylish, great beds, water dispenser in the room, balcony, quiet, although bar in the proximity. The vacation apartment, the the hotel offers, is in our opinion not acceptable, p. o.

    We wanted due to illness one night extend, the annoying the front desk very, we were given a 'apartment' circa 50 meters from the hotel, this consisted of two worn mini-rooms, was ice-cold and when't cleaned yet, on our complaint because of the temperature was the caretaker and stuffed the curtains in the rapid window! At the sister hotel was a room, but it was the front desk probably too much, there times to call, or the terrible apartment should definitely to be rented. In the service work foreigners without german knowledge.

A nice hotel to be comfortable. Had a rubin-suite. A great room, from the, size absolutely sufficient. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned. The friendliness with the staff was not always to see. The exterior appearance and presence of some service forces for a hotel this category was a no-go. It is a pity that in the rooms no bag for the spa was, we are other hotels stayed. The breakfast was absolutely great and very varied but unfortunately the location is a bit inappropriate, since it is very tight. A fondue meal in the restaurant was absolutely great. Had only ... breakfast and were so pleased. It is a pity that due to the many entrances the floors always very dirty. Therefore it almost all floors dirty. read more

    Food in the restaurant delicious and nicely arranged, always something slightly spiced and therefore slightly tasteless. Drinks and cocktails recommended. A Hugo but no mint money with the begründündung, there is no more...!?!

    As already written, overall very good. Some exterior appearance and demeanor from the staff and the junior manager for a hotel this category not alright. If for breakfast for the dinner set, the windows ripped and the vacuum-fetched is also a no-go. The rooms were cleaned very well.

By the expansion in the years 2012 created a very optically impressive hotel. Our room in the new building was really sensational. Unfortunately we found the contrast between old and new not outstanding. No beautiful breakfast room - breakfast same very varied. Coffee and cake snacks was rude and rather a joke. Staff currently still fully overburdened, we had the full price paid, we would sometimes over the staff very angry defendendo. Hardly any german speaking waiting staff, although it is very tried, but just bad or not at all begin school until. If the once brought in has, it ... is surely a top hotel and very recommendable. Currently, but still a lot of work, for a 4+ hotel to do it justice. read more

The restart was only partially successful: the newly built rooms are certainly nice, but could have done a more thorough cleaning before commissioning stood-plentiful wood dust, dirty windows, debris in the parking garage. The front desk on the 7. floor is a crazy idea, the guest must be with the bags only times from the parking garage across the house. Help with the luggage will not offered. Still outstanding cleanliness at 4 o'clock in the morning and leave no sleep more to, one could during the day and show the indifference to the paying guests read more

    Cooked ambitious, which was sometimes very good, sometimes not. It will be. The prices are by taking into consideration the quality rather low, which on the upside. Incomprehensible is the calculation the half board with 50 Euro per night. Who à la carte, and a course without is much cheaper and can instead a bottle of wine from the really inexpensive and expertly selected wines to enjoy. The service is friendly, in his behaviour but sometimes quite rustic and the four stars claim is not really appropriate. Exception is the restaurant chef, the really with a lot of heart quality in service fightet. A real disaster is the breakfast: As in such houses usual no fixed table for the duration of stay is offered (why not?) , there is a permanent running around and requests, the noise level is unbearable, as well as the smell of the open kitchen. The quality of the breakfast itself is average.

The hotel is beautiful and tastefully remodeled. The old entrance with the attached bar/restaurant area is cozy. The transition to the new area was good. Unfortunately the change work is not yet completed, so was the new part of the hotel still a bit dusty. In the all in all seemed the operation after the renovation not yet 100% started to be (for example the locks with the cabinets in the skiing/ski boot storage room is not working and were only after a couple of days completely open, so that jederzeitiger access was possible). read more

    We were in the old part accommodated. Room size sufficient and good equipped. About the cleaning can get done: we have an open bar of chocolate and earrings under the pull-out couch found. Hygienesackerl in the bathroom was missing and are only after repeated request refilled. Trash is in the bathroom three days not emptied (only after urgency at the front desk). Dirty dishes were only after asking cleared. As well as the mini bar only when we asked refilled. A lamp was missing the light bulb, the only after insisting was set up. The safe during our entire stay not functional made.

    The food was always excellent and diverse. On the first day our stay has it bottlenecks in the tables and it worked a bit chaotic, but the restaurant manager quickly in the handle got. Unpleasant was the smell in the restaurant felt (through the open kitchen), the clothes always smell, as if one would be even in the kitchen confessed.

    Service in the restaurant was partly excellent (for example restaurant manager), partly inadequate (works off and on, as they would not be trained staff). The relationship between the staff is mostly good, a few rough (not a 4 star level accordingly). Overall not enough staff in use. Service in the reception area a disaster: rude, complaints are apparently not taken serious. Initially we were in a different category, as the booked checked in (after a small commotion we got but our booked room). With the bags were help, but it took an hour, until the luggage in the room was. The child care was very welcoming and nice. However the kids club-if the child care was not present-totally dirty and messy (dirty table-ware stood around, table with food/drink dirty, trash was on the floor). Until new year's eve on the narrow hallway to the kids club planks stored. Overall the staff completely overburdened and seemed to be no support from the leadership to receive.

We chose a 36m2 Morgenröte double bed room in the old part of the hotel which was very airy and spacious, good value for the money (113€ p.p and day) The room had a spacious bathroom with double sinks and a bathtub, very nice and modern interior, tiled floors and walls and underfloor heating, cosy bathrobes, hairdryer, shaving mirror and a large wall mirror, a small balcony heading east with entrance from the living/sleep room which had modern flatscreen TV with mostly german speaking channels (almost every foreign program was dubbed.) a large double bed which was nice ... to sleep in, plenty of wardrobes, a digital room safe, a minibar (suitable for a couple of beers bought in town) 2 armchairs and a work desk. The newly built part of the hotel was extremely nice, superior and expensive materials all over the place. Cleanliness was excellent, room was cleaned properly every day. Only breakfast was included for the 113€, if you would like half-board you had to add another 40€ p.p and you could only choose between breakfast the whole stay, or half-board the whole stay. Not very flexible and too pricy for us so we chose only breakfast and went out to eat some evenings in other restaurants. Both cheaper and nicer beacuse you could explore the village of Hinterglemm more. The breakfast price also included a "cake buffet" in the afternoon with 7-8 different cake types, they tasted very well, but you had to pay extra to have a cup of tea or coffee.who have ever had a cake without something to drink?? Quite a dirty trick in my opinion. Most of the guests seemed to be well-paid Jetset people which was obvious if you looked at the upper price range cars parked at the hotel entrance.     The arrival at the hotel was a nightmare. A blonde receptionist welcomed us with a angry staring face as I told her we had a room reservation (speaking english) - she seemed uninterested of our arrival but at least found our reservation, showed us to our room and helped us with our baggage. I have been in several countries and would not consider my vocal english anything under mid-to-good-range but it was clear that some of the staff had difficulties both understanding and speaking english. Room cleaning however was excellent!! On the first day we had a evening meal at the hotel restaurant and the younger of the hotel owners, Alex, said hello and spoke a bit with us, he seemed to be a very friendly and easy-going person. His mother and co-owner Maria on the other hand, should either learn to smile and say hello to the hotel guests who say hello to her, or leave the hotel business. Not a very pleasant surprise to discover that a simple hello to her was not responded. The elevator in the old part of the hotel was not operational between 00:00 and 07:00 because every start and stop of it was quite noisy. On the morning the day before our check-out, we asked for a breakfast package to be delivered to our room at 21:00 beacuse we were to leave at 05:30 on the check-out day. No package was delivered at 22:00 so we had to call the reception and ask what had happened. They suddenly then told us we could collect it in the morning instead, probably beacuse they had forgot it. Since we were to leave so early we kindly asked if we could be awaken by them the next morning at 04:00. Lucky for us that we had set both our cell phones to alarm us at 04:00 because the reception didnt call us up until 05:00(!) Apparently, the communication between the reception staff needs to improve. Also, the understanding of the english language of some of the reception staff needs to improve. However, the 50+ man, originally from Spain, in the reception working the night shift as we left the hotel, was extremely helpful and service-minded, he excused that the information had not reached him about the awakeing call and other things. He should teach some of the others behind thereception that works daytime hours how to be friendly and serviceminded! This hotel calls themselves a 4-star Superior hotel...but I sincerely have to question that big time with our Alpin Juwel - experience!

    The Alpin Juwel contains a Spa Area which is open between 08:00 and 20:00. From 21:00 is it possible to privately reserve the complete Spa, for a surcharge of course. If you like to ski in the evening in the Hinterglemm flood light piste (which is open until 21:30), you have to use the spa area before 20:00. I think that they should have the spa are open at least until 22:00 so the evening skiers can make the best use of it, too. However the Spa area is very big and contains several different areas, saunas, relaxing warm water beds, indoor pool (quite cool water), newly built outside "over-the-edge" hot water pool which was great, light therapy room with very nice relaxing beds, possibility to reserve a time for massage therapy (surcharge of course) sunbed room, fitness room et.c. Internet access in the hotel via Wi-Fi, worked great in our hotel room.

    The hotel announces themselves as close to the floodlight slopes which is true, but they can not call themselves a "ski-in ski-out" hotel, you still have to walk about 250-300 meters from the newly built part of the hotel containing a ski/boot room to the Unterschwarzachbahn or Reiterkogelbahn in order to get to the closest ski lift / slope. Apart from that the location is excellent, close to the village centre.

As we have been several years regular guests in the winter are, we have 2012 also new year's eve in the Hotel Alpin jewel spent. The staff were as always extremely friendly and at all times helpful, as we à la carte dinner, my expectations were very high. Unfortunately, they were a bit disappointed, the desserts were unimaginative, the food not very varied. The weinkurs of Rudi was excellent, the new heated outdoor-pool a private experience. We have in the old part of the hotel lived directly above the bar-a worse mistake. Well, that it for new year's eve loud ... is no surprise, but also on the days before and after, we were surprised to 2:00 in the morning on the loud bassgeräusche, until we put the source of disturbances recognized. A nice and recently renovated hotel, the unfortunately many processes not true. No bathrobes, had 3 times reglamiert be Toilet paper and cleansing were not refilled, was every day complained, but nevertheless not refilled. Booked services as wellness coupon not received! Rooms were with dust from the neighboring eingedreckt. Ordered champagne bottle in the room after several complaints until the 4. evening brought. And so on. What bothered us the most, that the complaint on the day of departure the management totalled have been reported and as reacktion the following statement has been made 'thanks for the information, we will ... try to work on it, but the more we can not do' (as written, the hotel management, the colleagues at the front desk.) read more

Mostly German guests in all age groups. From babies to grandma & grandpa are all welcome and the team always tried everything to all a nice holiday to ready. The breakfast buffet offers plenty of choice and beside the ajuvedischen food there was also a wide selection of ... the various bio -types of tea. The -course menu was every evening absolutely delicious and you could taste, that here only with very good and fresh ingredients creative work.     Our room was newly renovated and consisted of two separate bedrooms, each with a tv equipped. There was a mini bar always restocked and a safe. The bathroom was with a bath tub with integrated shower equipped and the toilet was separate. It was always everything very clean. Otherwise we had a balcony with a view of Hinterglemm. Also in the room you had access to the Wi-Fi net.

    The food was really always very tasty and freshly prepared. Every evening there was 3 different menus from which you in the morning one to choose. For children there was a children's buffet with the things each child like to eat. The staff are very for cleanliness and a high service level carefully. There were both typical local kitchen as well as dishes from other countries, for example Italian evening & bar-B-queue.

They were always tried a matching solution to find, as far as we realized. Since we didn't have any reason to complain!

    The hotel's own hallend is completely sufficient. The wellness oasis is very nice and offers something for everyone. Otherwise there are really great massage & wellness offers. It is also very much for children offered. For example hikes for children, guided mountain bike tour, quad biking and even a kinderwellness morning with subsequent cookies baking in the hotel kitchen. In the outdoor area were enough loungers with very good quality available.

    The hotel is actually located somewhat higher, but the way to the village was very doable. In the winter it is very central to all ski lifts and at the floodlight slope. From Hinterglemm you can already in a few minutes by car the various excursion destinations, like for instance the high ropes course, the baumzipfelweg or the captain hook adventure pool. The hotel offers even without extra costs the various excursions and one is even indicated hotebus risks, so that you have car not at all need.

We stayed for the umpteenth time in the hotel and again, we were not disappointed. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is very pleasant and invited to the stay. No matter wether it the booked room, the restaurant, the fitness room, the pool or the lawn area concerns. The staff, from the front desk to the room service, was always friendly and willing to help. Eating and drinking are flawless and everything tasted good. The spa and leisure facilities are extensive. The Latter especially also in the surrounding area. Boredom is not.     Due to the higher location you have a wonderful view into the mountains and the valley. Disadvantage, one must first top come. However is on the side of a cultivation in and there is a direct connection with lift of the valley in the ground. The highest quality for us was the highlight.
