We have the hotel for one night before a cruise. The hotel is centrally located in of the center from San Juan. This means but also, the life is right nearby the hotel from. That's why for sure no hotel for relaxation. But nevertheless: out of the hotel and the mood in San Juan enjoy. Rooms are alright, but not outstanding. Major advantage : on foot directly to the ship (but be careful: the ship must be in the 'port' beach chairs) read more

Good location in the old town, no parking options for taxis, friendly service, ' dusty' ambience, poor value for money, access to the wharf for cruises is good, when the boat from the quay in the town leaves. read more

I was with my sister one night in a double room.
We arrived in the middle of the night in the hotel and were warmly welcomed.
Our room was okay in terms of size, however it was very hot and stuffy in the room and the air conditioning was very noisy, but worked they are unfortunately not.
We could enjoy the breakfast on the roof terrace with a beautiful view, you should not expect size exclusive buffet. They had toast, cereal, fruit, three sorts of juice, milk, coffee. So standard breakfast without big extras, but everything was fresh and tasted ... good.
We highly recommend this hotel, because it is conveniently located near Schiffsreisende, in a few steps, you're already at the port, because there was no taxi's worth.
If you have some time, should also visit Senor frog opposite the port. The restaurant/Bar is a fun and funky. read more

After our 1-wöchigen Südkaribik cruise we are still longer in Puerto Rico remained and to have us in this small but beautiful hotel Milano old San Juan in the old town from San Juan for one night quartered. So we knew what to expect and we knew us in the area already something.
We had this time a different room receive, which was a bit bigger ( about 20 square meters) and comfortable. As the first, was. Not stranger simply to the hotel and then to our room there, there is to each, hallway still additionally a a glass division ... (see photo) with a glass door. But there was also a separate key.
Also this room, as well as the breakfast room and the complete hotel were very clean.
We were not disappointed and the service and the staff were still very nice, friendly and helpful. Our next visit Puerto Rico in San Juan is in this hotel his. We can the hotel without restrictions also all other guests recommend-O
1. Tip
Au the rooms there is no safe, but at the front desk. Just ask and valuables jail. The safe is free!
2. Tip for all, those gladly much & book shop:
Out of the hotel and the road turn right up, until you reach the junction with the town square, with a subway, and supermarket is, is directly at the junction of a large (3 floors) outlet business. ( about 3 minutes hike) there you can buy very cheap, for example Herrenhemden by Tommy Hilfiger, only you $20, or shoes Nike or Timberland, only US 25, -to 40, -and of course a lot of summer and beachwear of many renowned manufacturers. read more

For the night prior to a cruise of san juan, I was looking for a quiet and convenient accommodation in the old city. After attentive study other guest reviews I had a room to the inner courtyard. The number is on request already in advance by e-mail communicated = 302.
The 62 °F = 17 °C preset temperature on the air conditioner I 75 °F = about increased to 24 °C and slept excellent. For two people the bed would be too narrow former. There is a tv, no safe. Everywhere carpets come after us american model, the roles of ... the fith tremendously.
The tasty breakfast to tight six us dollars consisted of tea/coffee/fruit juices, hot and cold milk for cereal, toast, butter and scheiblettenkäse, as well as plenty of plums, bananas, apples, in self service. Inside or outside, on the roof terrace-sit and enjoy a nice view over the roofs of old city, to the sea. Also pigeons, on puerto rico are very popular, come to visit.
Unfortunately, the service was poor. The taxi driver could not my luggage two stages high, that would be my job former. The man behind the counter does not flinch from the spot. I had to come back down, as the glass door between the corridor closed was, and the nice man down at the keys had forgotten, I have to say, that the second key on the bund opened the door. I was too tired, in order to get from it.
After the check out at 12:00 o'clock you may deliver the luggage down. It is against receipt in the lobby, chained and can be triggered when the same again.
From the airport, san juan will be taxi rates. The hotel milano taxi costs $19.50 the american + 1 american dollar per piece of luggage. The hotel milano taxi costs 15 cruise terminal, -american dollar and luggage, as before. read more

In the middle of the old city san juan location, short walk wherever you want.
We stayed for two nights before our cruise in the hotel milano and absolutely recommend. Breakfast was adequate but a little sparse, but never bothered us. The breakfast terrace and the very friendly staff we therefor compensated.
We spent the whole day walking distance to the old city and the atmosphere had more than enjoyed. On our next stay we will definitely choose this hotel again.

We have only one looking for a cheap hotel night and thanks to holidaycheck this hotel on trip advisor. We were not disappointed, rather we were surprised at the results from good price performance ratio.
the rooms are not so large and not very new, but it was clean everywhere.
Breakfast is served on the roof, from where you can get a good view of the city and the port. The buffet itself was rather small and there is no culinary highlights.
In immediate Nearby is the old fort and lots of nice bars and shops for shopping.
We arrived ... late and were welcomed very friendly and the check-in was very fast manner.
Would have liked to stay longer, not just about puerto rico closer to explore, but also because the Hotel. ☺ read more

We stayed at the hotel a milano night before our cruise overnight. The hotel has about 25-30 rooms and is located in the middle of the old city sant juan very close to the port. You should ask but, at which the cruise ship pier is located, as the port is quite large. So it can be different, if you the pier to walk or cab ride away. The hotel is very nicely equipped. The rooms are small, but clean. For a short stay so a very good price performance ratio. The staff is very attentive and friendly. On the ... roof terrace you can have breakfast for a bit of money ($5) and bridge the gap to the embarkation. The selection at the buffet was not huge, but the coffee tasted good. So all in all, an ideal base for those The beginning of a Kreufahrt. read more

My wife and I just spent 4 days in Old San Juan at the hotel Milano and really enjoyed the area and the hotel Milano. The location is extraordinary being in the heart of a variety of excellent restaurants, bars and clubs, and within a few blocks of one of the old forts and the harbor.
However what I was really impressed with was the helpful and friendly service. One example was Miguel. He was the receptionist at the hotel when we arrived. When checking in I noticed that I must have lost my wallet in the taxi, which by ... then was long gone. My life flashed before my eyes in contemplating the complications. A tourists worst nightmare. However, Miguel got right on it and after considerable effort and numerous phone calls, identified the cab, got in touch with the driver and got my wallet back with everything still in it.
To top it off, Miguel just sent me some info that I requested when I was leaving. Talk about service after the sale!!
Thanks Miguel and the hotel Milano. A great place to stay. read more

This is a charming, unusual small hotel in the heart of the old city. It's owned and run by one of the most interesting men you'll ever meet. Juan San Emeterio is not only a hotelier, but a visionary, a sage, a mystic, and a very kind man, who loves nothing better than to stop everything to talk philosophy with a hotel guest. read more
