Key West is wonderful. The hotel fits ideally located in this area. In the old conch-style built you see the every year much care as is, but the hotel is good in shot. The location is peacefully located and also the rooms are less noisy than usual on our trip. Top is Roman, the good soul of the hotel. He is german and helped with all questions. He gave us great weitergehiolfen all restaurant, doctor visits and excursions. Priceless. Is its serenity! All in all a gajz great stay. Tip: absolutely rent bicycles and the island explore. Prices: 1st day ... 18 American Dollar every day 10 American Dollar. Restaurants: azur, mangia mangia. read more

    We had a room in the main house. It was more like an apartment. With a large combined bedroom and living room and a wardrobe. The room was gmütlich furnished. In the sleeping area there was a 2. tv. The bathroom was large enough, but had very little counter space. Everything was clean. The majority of the windows do not open. The only downer here was the air conditioning, even in the totaly condition still noisy.

Heron house court is a small but fine hotel with 12 rooms. It has a jacuzzi and a pool, the pool has gotten a bit old, which did not disturb us however, because of the few number of guests always enough space in the and at the pool was - very pleasant. Breakfast is included-standard american /continental breakfast. The cleanliness was good everywhere. The types of people were predominantly german, a few american guests were also there. read more

    Also here : small but sweet. Had directly the first room on the ground floor, room number 4. a nice bed, a closet with a safe, a flat screen tv, chest of drawers and large bedside tables, and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and new facilities. The room was relatively new and very clean, we felt very good.

    It is only breakfast offered at the time from 8:30-10:00. right next to the front desk, a bar with bagels, toast, butter, jam, honey, peanut butter, cereal, cereal, coffee, tea, milk and juice set up. It was always sufficiently available and one could outside or jointly sit inside.

    Staff we only Roman met. He showed us everything and is great, friendly, you could always ask him and you immediately feel at home. Native german, so communication was exclusively in german. The cleaning of the rooms was daily and thoroughly. The breakfast service, the Roman alone had, was also good and for american standards normal. We had Roman felt very welcome!

    There is a jacuzzi and a pool. The pool has gotten a bit old, the bannisters are not quite firm, which the whole but no harm, because you are mostly alone and the sun and the pool enjoy, this is it for relaxing. Wifi is in the hotel free of charge. To the beach you can take the bike or by car drive, fantastic beaches in the immediate vicinity.

    Within walking distance are the ' attractions' as mallory square, southernmost point, etc. Rather not reachable, because the hotel in a residential area. On foot everything approximately 30 minutes out. In the immediate vicinity is an old bakery, a small grocery store. Best one rents a bike or a scooter, so you can everywhere well and also didn't have the huge + + +, whereby one at mallory square parking (however 4 $per hour). We had a trip with the glass bottom boat made (40 $per person ), that is very recommendable.

We have had this guest house ( it is no hotel!) because of the good reviews and can afterwards on the positive reviews only surprised. It is my knowledge after 12 room in around 1900 in the typical key west style built house. The 4 room, we have seen, are urgently in need of renovation. It is my knowledge after 12 room with very different sizes and location within of the hotel. The breakfast is continental and is only at the time from 8.30 until: o'clock offered. You are there early, you can sit outside, apart from that the ... communal table in the foyer. While we were there, there were exclusively guests from Germany there. read more

    Room number 11 ( on the 1st floor) was because of an extreme odor from the swimming area not available, far there were stains in the ceiling ( durchgeregnet ) and considerable stains on the carpet. With the room number 1 ( on the ground floor, right under room number 11) was the odor somewhat milder, but also strongly available. In the neighboring room number 2 was the ancient air conditioning only conditionally. The washbasin is in the room, there the bathroom too small is (built into a small storage space). In the room number 9 was the air conditioning was supposed to be according to the, that we issue had. The windows in these above rooms are nailed up, that means a alternative air ventilation possibility is not. We have to room according to the website (access to the garden etc.) asked, but they did not receive.

    There was times the ' top -location' described; this review I can't then. The guesthouse is located in a pure residential area, the on foot duval street is good 20 to 25 minutes. During the day not a problem, however evenings are the streets the heron house court not lit at night. The parking possibilities are strong limited, there lots of parking spaces for residents are reserved.

As repeat offender we are from this small and schukeligen hotel very pleased. The Heron house is great for us and fulfills all our wishes on a great and unforgettable stay at a very nice place. The whole atmosphere is simply indescribable. It is a professionally run house, but the impression for the time of the stay rather part of a whole is. vSo a feeling to mediate Faszinerte us this time also again. For breakfast in the lobby one comes very fast in contact with the other guests. The mood in this special hotel was once again great, because ... the majority of the guests appreciate in such a nearly informal atmosphere a part of its vacation to spend. But of course we also gladly Hamburg young from our hometown and tell the latest information. If we again to Key West we go back there again. The room and every area of the hotel were clean and tidy. read more

We were a week heron house-originally diving to go. But as i so was cold, that i a day flat and otherwise so peeved was, had unfortunately failed. Roman has at the time super cared for us and me with extra tea. Furthermore he gave us a lot of tips for alternative excursions or visits to given, so that the licences have been submitted diving well be replaced could. Also what the organize bikes concerned, it was always helpful. As he had always a good tip for going out to eat in stock. We would come back at any time. ... A little bit out of town convenient, but for us europär, the on foot go. Not a problem. read more

The guesthouse is typically Key West. A lot of flair and charm. The rooms are well equipped ( tv, safe, fridge, climate, bathrobes, beach towels) and clean. Unfortunately is the air conditioning and the fridge at night a bit noisy. We both have simply switched off and therefore had a pleasant sleep. The breakfast is sufficient ( coffee, orange juice, Bagels, cereals, fruit). Roman is a very helpful and open concierge. He gave us good advices and helped us with tips available. We have Key West with the bicycles explored. Really recommendable. The distances are not so far and you ... can charm of the city enjoy. We had only great, hot weather. Definitely the lobster Roll at the seafood market in the Eaton street try. Delicious! And in any case one of the many tours in the Gulf of Mexico book. There is everything from dolphin watching until the jet ski, kayak tour or snorkeling. read more

Comfortable, small hotel with German speaking front desk. Pool and whirlpool really available! Hotel in the colonial style, but there is unfortunately a Modernisierungsstau: our room was too much small and it smelled very musty. The hotel has no own parking, what really a problem is. read more

A house the one its age in some places look at, but renovation is in motion. Beautiful location in the old part of the city, on foot 10 minutes to the port. Great atmosphere, very good breakfast, but the best part is the host Roman. Plans, Bay, organized and prescribes everything what is possible by eerier patience and makes the stay special. We are definitely coming again! read more

We have two wonderful days in key West spent, have looked at a lot and lots of things to do. Novel, the good spirit of the house (by the way very competently, as regards the determination of various leisure opportunities, transactions, preparation of breakfast, and so on.) was always incredibly helpful. A big thank You therefor. The house is built in timber and-as we were told-in 1890 built by. It has survived so many storms. The rooms are sufficiently large and very clean. Each of the rooms in the hotel look different. The hotel has a nice, quiet pool. ... You can walk to Duval street. So everything nearby. There is a possibility, bicycles to borrow, so you can get to anywhere. In key West I would anytime again this hotel is a good choice. read more

    We had a comfortable, small room king bed, air conditioning, safe, fridge and tv. the bathroom with a shower, toilet and hair dryer. Also here was everything is great, daily cleaning.

    in the hotel only breakfast serves, but for American standards is very good. So we had it on our Florida round trip the first time sausage for breakfast, which certainly German Influences is. apart from that there are coffee, juices, Toast and yoghurt. There are nothing to fault!

    the building is well situated, all sights, as the Duvall Street, southernmost point, beaches and harbour walk are within easy to reach on foot. the hotel itself has no parking spaces, on the street before it was however always something free.

The heron pants court is a really great, small hotel nearby the duval street (5 minutes walk), the hotel has flair and style! From the moment we arrived we felt very comfortable. Novel (the good soul of the hotel, speaks German) good care of their guests and has very good advice on hand. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. A sunset is a must in the heart of key west. If we are again in key west, we will definitely stay at the heron pants court-thanks again to novel! read more

We have three nice and varied days in key west spent. The hotel is reasonably priced, so that we could walk to everything. It is a small, family Hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. Particularly helpful were the various recommendations. read more

A small but fine hotel with very friendly staff, partially even German. The whole atmosphere was very Familiar. Breakfast is served in the lobby in a big round table Eingenomen in a relaxed atmosphere. This the hotels an even more specific touch. The rooms and facilities great. Great seating directly outside the room. There was also a pool in the garden, we didn't have the can use. The attractions of Key West are within easy reach. Favorite appreciated this hotels, so we never had a charming Child policy -> we will be another stay in the Keys Book this hotel ... again. read more

(Unfortunately) as we only two days at this place was, we can't assess what everything according to wolfgang. One thing is clear, this house has unique style and flair. Great place to stay in Key West! Located just a short walk from the Duval Street, it has two swimming pools (a small front and a larger one at the rear), a sun terrace, a small lobby in the buffet breakfasts are also served. Parking on the street is very easy. The receptionist was German, very friendly. He has to give us maps, he even Chistchurch attractions and other important places. From him also tip the island can take a stroll along the ) bike (shop just around the corner) to explore - excellent, you can only recommend to everyone ... as within walking distances too far and by car parking in the center is a pain. I would visit again at the drop of a hat! read more
