Hotel Berlin Golden Beach^{(4 stars)}

Our room was reasonable. Very small tv. Carpet needs to urgently be renewed. It was well cleaned.

The food looked good. That was already everything. It was without salt or spices cooked. What the food was guide as a its -hotel was good. In the second week there were fruit salad, here was the angestossene fruit use. It fehte on glasses, teaspoon (have times counted, 20 piece for all the guests) For coffee or other warm drinks there was only plastic sticks. The tables are very close. The good it was clean.

You often had to wait very long to a drink to get. It was simply too little staff there. Our room on the 4th floor room number 43? Was a very nice cleaning lady thoroughly cleaned.

This was our second time in this hotel. State of the hotel satisfactory. The carpet in the hallways was everywhere fully stains. Besides that the hotel was and the toilets clean.

The hotel is directly at the beach.

Nice large and clean. We had a double room with shower and balcony.

2 bars, food and drinks lousy and tasteless. Cleanliness ok. Atmosphere rather mediocre.

No smile, no good morning, etc. , little language skills. Cleaning of the rooms perfect.

Everything ok. Animation good, pool everything was clean, enough chairs and screens at the beach available.

It was our first time in Bulgaria and had us on a nice holiday looking forward to it. But we were also the last time there. The hotel and also the rooms are very clean and from our very nice cleaning staff always cleaned. This lady the rooms 514 and 516 cleaned was but also the only the were friendly met. Apart from that were the waiters very bored and a 'good morning or good day' know the apparent not at all. The food is little varied and not seasoned, apparently spices in Bulgaria too expensive. Except mince and chicken hardly something special, everything was not to our liking. We almost only of soup fed, it was the money. Value. We had all-inclusive. We will never come again.

Very proximity to the beach, shops good. The best with a taxi to varna, it is cheaper than at the beach.

There the room very big and the balcony the whole windows- we could we didn't complain. The furniture was not new anymore, the tv very small and old, but we had every day at least 1 German channels, we always had to find. The air conditioning was ok. The mini bar was for us as all inclusive guests not to use. Coffee machine there was not. The mattresses the beds were old and worn out. The staff has the room and bathroom kept very clean and daily fresh laundry flaws balanced. Safe was available, telephone and hair dryer also.

There were two restaurants. In the main restaurant there were the buffets. In the first week the food was yet acceptable. The coffee in the morning came from a machine, you presented his cup below, got the blend coffee from, pressed the button and got if one luck had 1/2 cup coffee. The line was always long, the mugs always scarce. Lunch and dinner buffet was usually warmed up, lau -warm food, sometimes not definable. It was usually chicken or minced meat in different preparation. Reheated with fresh mixed. . The salad was fresh and appetizing, much cheese, but where was the schafsfleisch? The soup was always hot and also tasted good and the dessert was very delicious small cakes, also freshly. The ice was always very soft and in the container for the ice cream spoon was the water not changed. Where were the seeds of the many intestinal diseases in it?

The service in the hotel was nothing to complain about, the staff were friendly, the room was cleaned thoroughly, mostly was also speak German, but you can also with English. Our complaint because of the drinking water was understanding incorporated, but what can the simple employee against the order from top make?

There was a beach bar, opposite a stage for the entertainers, a few young people the hard-working the people with gymnastics and games to keep you occupied. Evenings some sketches listed and so on Much was also not possible. Shops there were in the hotel not, as you had to already further to run. Beach and pool were clean, sun loungers, as well as umbrella and cushions were available, bath-towels could one at the front desk borrow The beach was clean.

Easy worn overall impression the hotel, room quite large, with a spacious balcony, view over the black sea. Room is very clean, every day linen. In all-inclusive was the mini bar not included. One had even the water in glasses from the bar into the room go as the water from the water tap not drinkable was. So day for day several glasses water on the rooms brought. Because water in bottles were in the hotel not inclusive, but the alcohol generously poured out. Sparkling wine, beer, wine and liquor in quantities but water you should buy bottled and the all inclusive, as is true but not in a great -hotel! The guests were international, whereby German were in the majority.

As the hotel by the beach and a large pool and swimming pool it was for a beach vacation great. Purchase-and entertainment possibilities are in the immediate proximity and the hotel tried with animateuren at the beach to do something. Excursions are offered, is however somewhat weather permitting. If one booked and unable to attend, because you possibly through bad food diarrhea contracted in, you get the money back! It is happened to us, the guide not more!

The maid service was always attentive (without tip) and the rooms were clean.

We were already often in Bulgaria, a bad kitchen we do not have yet experienced... There was little variety, the kitchen has more done the one in other restorations did not have to change, there is actually a cook/chef? For example kaffeehohlen you had to always long line up ( only 4 coffee machines). Well cleanliness? You couldn't behind the counter look in the dining room

Distance to the beach... Couldn't be better.

We had a room in the 5. hall, directly over the indoor pool, with beautiful view of the sea. The room was relatively large and too many in good condition. Next to the normal bed there was also still a bunk bed. Our balcony was also relatively large, as in the bathroom were however already a few signs of wear recognizable. In the big enough closet was also a safe, you for 55 leva for 2 weeks rent. The air conditioning consisted of a 3 -stepped air ventilation. The tv was quite small, but sufficient. As German program we have ARD, ZDF, RTL, satellite. 1 and ProSieben found. However the rooms are in the hotel partially structured in a different way. So had the room of known in the höherstöckigen building for example a smaller balcony with lateral view of the sea, a kitchenette, a flatscreen tv and no safe.

There was a buffet-restaurant included outside area, a à la carte restaurant, a pool bar, a beach bar, a lobby bar and a snack bar. The offer for breakfast was well arranged. Somewhat annoying was however the line up at the coffee-machines, since these always only half a cup of ausspuckten and one thus sometimes a review eternity had to wait, until you at the row was. Otherwise were mugs relatively often rarity, small spoons were as good as not any. Lunch in the restaurant we only very rarely used, it was in principle like the dinner. Instead we sometimes at the beach a few fries in/out privileges, but they were at the edge of the information about palatability, as cold and not crispy. For dinner there was always 2 side dishes like fried potatoes, rice,, in addition still 2 further side dishes as mischgemüse, cauliflower, and then 5 containers with fish- and meat dishes (mostly minced meat and chicken). Otherwise every evening there was spaghetti with red sauce. Sometimes there was also a chef in the restaurant and layout rib or chicken from. In addition there was each evening amongst others still 2 different soups, a small bar with salad, sausage, as well as desserts and fruit. You have always found something, to get you started, however this time we also not increased ;-) so were for example mince and chicken often not through-roasted correctly and only lukewarm, the vegetables too hard... In the à la carte restaurant the food was better, the portions however well arranged. Drinks in the restaurant you had to at the restaurant bar yourself. At the beach bar and even at the lobby bar were the beverages too many in plastic cups are also served. The Cola was at the end of our stay always thin.

The competence and the staff's hospitality was very varying degrees. Sometimes a sovereign impression gives ( for example at the beach bar or the clearing of the plates ), other again seemed almost exclusively annoyed ( for example at the lobby bar), were unprofessional ( for example with the cell phone in the restaurant play) or overburdened ( for example several orders once and then everything muddle). With being understood we had hardly problem. The room was cleaned well, the cleaning ladies also always very nice and friendly. Check in and-out at the front desk went without a problem.

The pool we as good as not at all use it, we had the sea directly in front of our door. At the beach were the loungers, umbrella and cushions included. This was on the one hand great, since you plenty of money saved, however were again the typical people who reserve sun loungers on the way. On the first day we could because of the information -event of the tour operator only in the late morning at the beach and have only by the support the beach-boys get something. On the following days we are early gone, there one has then a good place. Critical it was only again, as on the penultimate day the weather suddenly beautiful was, as you because of the worse weather already a part of the things relieved had. The beach was too many clean, he could however yet be cleaner, if really each with their trash ( included cigarette butts) in the sufficently available müllbehältern disposed of could have been. At the entrance into the water were mussels and small rock, we had however no problems into the sea to arrive. On some days arrived relatively high waves, so the red flag was hoisted. On one of those days were almost fist size mussels respectively snail shells were washed ashore, which one then relatively good collection could. The hotel was in principle reasonable. The general area was relatively clean, it was often wiped. To our time of travel beginning/ middle September were mainly tourist from various regions germany in the hotel. In principle were all ages represented, whereby older people the largest group represented.

The hotel lay on northern end of the gold beach, in the direct vicinity of the slightly bedraggled 'marina'. For people, the peace and quiet search, is the location almost optimal. First shops were on foot about minutes reachable, to to the center one ran approximately 20 to 30 minutes. There was also regularly a small railroad, this but we never used it. The beach was directly in front of the hotel, you just had to cross the beach promenade.

The rooms are spacious, the beds ok. And the cleanliness was without complaint.

The choice of usually only lukewarm dishes was very limited. The taste was for my palate in 80% of cases not enjoyable. The variety in the menu very limited. If you then nevertheless to eat decided, had often in patience practice. Time missing plates, then it was mugs or cutlery. Small spoons for the dessert I not at all seen. Who as half board-prisoner to eat a drink wanted, had this at the bar get, but only then, if by chance a head waiter with permission to collect reachable was.

The staff were in general tried hard, but it was opposite 2010 around 50% reduced. You have in the hotel only booked half board, there are at the pool bar nothing. Waiter service in the dining room is also not available.

The hotel is in a reasonable condition. The it is clean. The service is very bad. ( not enough staff, who already all inclusive has, can also wait). The kitchen has opposite my stay of 2010 so neglected, that another holiday in this hotel for sure not more into question comes.

Due to the location of the hotel at the end of the gold beach is very quiet and for a beach vacation perfectly suited. The beach is right next to hotel. If you like party and excitement, just a bit of a walk or with the small railroad go. Diagonally opposite is located Ivan' s beach bar. Here you will served in a friendly manner and the food is magnificent. ( therefore I had to not starve.)

The apartment was great. Large, clean and peaceful. You really couldn't complain about them. However on the first night we were on the 1. floor. It was not as nice, because the next buses one heard quite loud. On the 9. floor was the but no more disturbing.

See the comments in the area of service. The belong together. The waiters at the lobby bar were rude and not willing to do something. You had no bock more and left the guests feel. Barely rinsed glasses cups. Disgusting! Oh, pastry forks, teaspoon and egg cup gave it not more in the hotel. Supposedly could have been the guests these things stolen.

in the dining room there was absolutely no hospitality. The food is bad. Everything overcooked and long in the bain -Marie kept warm. Nothing freshly fried. No steak, no turkey, nothing shortly, no veal, no pork chops or Schnitzel, always only cooked chicken and the same side dishes. Nothing was freshly prepared. Not even the fries you could pinpoint and crusty get. We have lots of guests spoken, the extremely at failure gets sick were and 3-4 days nothing could eat. There was everything again. Personally we were unfortunately also affected.

Pool, way too small. Entertainment, unprofessional from the beach. No entertainment from outside. That was the entertainment there on the legs places is level the 1st and 2. students.

The rooms were big and very clean. 6 points for the cleaning ladies. The front desk was polite and helpful. 5 points. The strändnähe is optimal. 6 points. The sea hardly salty, but a little colder than the mediterranean sea. 5 points. The sandy beach is gritty. Go for a stroll, you can not. For children little suitably. It quickly got deep at the water edge. 3 points. The food was bad. 0 points. The friendliness the restaurant was horrible. 0 points. Lobby too small. You know not at all, where one should. 2 points.

Proximity to the beach. Proximity to marina. At night it was rather quiet. But only, if you on the upper floors lives or rooms, the not in the rear of the hotel to the street or side to the street has. There are lots of buses.

The size and the state of the rooms was all right. Were regularly and well cleaned, if you the vacation in the room would have spent, would be the vacation reasonable been.

The quality of the dishes left much to be desired. The juices, the for breakfast from the machines were offered, tasted only after water. For dinner got only the guests, the first the table used napkins. Set was not new, we then itself and us cutlery from the terrace in/out privileges. If you bad luck was even for dinner in the restaurant the glasses and you got the beverages in the plastic cup.

Very unfriendly staff. The German language hardly anyone. Cleaning of the rooms was good. Complaints were contrary to-taken, but it made no difference. In the worst case heard, we understand nothing or we did not see anyplace. So for example as us by the pool a hotel's own towel stolen, which we on deposit acquired. As the lifeguard nothing saw, we had to pay, although we only about 6 meters away of the chair at the pool bar were.

The entertainers strove, on the day the guests with sports and games to converse. This is partly successful. Evenings were the shows mediocre and since the stage of sand surrounded was, you don't want evenings the dirt walk around. The umbrella stands stayed in the pool area nearly all broken, so that one very enterprising be had, a umbrella to use. The cleanliness by the pool was all right.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The service in the restaurant was inadequate. Very unfriendly staff, not enough dishes and cutlery, also missing often glasses. The warm food was partly not enjoyable, it lacked variety and already the sight of the buffet could the hunger forget. The majority of the guests came from the cis states and Romania. These were the men in the hotel while the German rather tolerated were. Not too understand is the review from Holidaycheck as to hotel 2012, especially the year not even to end.

The directly at the beach is to be pointed out, entertainment possibilities are at the end the beach promenade (quite far from the hotel, where one also with the light rail can drive, but very expensive is). Excursion opportunities in the area does not exist, with long bus- or drives connected. The pure beach vacation want, is in the right place here, learn but of the country and people little know.

More or less fine, but we would prefer without carpeting material -also in certain places rather worn out-. You had a disgust and preferred not go barefoot.

Kitchen style needs getting used to, since very little spice. ( so were the pepper & salt forever gone respectively empty. It looked the food always very good... But -as mentioned- little peppered.

Cleaning of the rooms is good; friendliness of the staff leaves much to be desired... Feel rather annoyed

Hotel has very nice near the beach location. It is clean, but by the staff -starting at the front desk- it is definitely not recommendable. You have the feeling, the ladies and men feel troubled, if one had a question. This hospitality we in no other country.

Plus is the proximity to the beach and adjoining mall.

The size was good. The furnishings like for instance bed, sofa and carpeting material should be replaced. Positively mentioned should be was the view with a view of the sea, a balcony and an airco. The condition was good, but run-down.

As the heading already disclosed, were the main components of food minced meat and poultry in any variations. Furthermore the food was lukewarm to cold and not nicely arranged. Under somewhat many guests ( unfortunately we also), it came to stomach and darminfekten, whether these from reasons of possibly not garen food was created or hygienic drawbacks is due, I can't say.

Compared to the last year, was the kindness and courtesy of the staff rather poor. With demand of the staff ( front desk, kitchen staff) was every question a question too much. The cleaners were friendly and accommodating.

The entertainment tenders were always bad at the end. The beach and the pool were clean, but one early riser must, at his beach chair and cushion to secure.

Already in 2011 we were in the hotel and very satisfied. For this reason we decided this year again for this. The room was big and always clean like the rest of the hotel.

The distance to the beach was excellent. The next town was easy by taxi or bus to reach. With the shopping arcade at the gold beach also see.

Everything ok. I had extra a small kettle with us. In other reviews it says, that the coffee not tasted. True not at all the coffee was great.

Everything was good. Of course, if you have a give a tip, you will also treated differently. Not only, if you leave, but directly on the first day.

Staff are very friendly. All have understood German and spoken. Room were cleaned daily, included towel exchange.

Beach and pool ok. Entertainment was not so rosy, it was end of the season. The people anyway not more involved, otherwise it was very hot, we had the 7 days, 6 days pure sun 30° and more.

The complex was well arranged. Room great included beds, in any case on the 6th floor. TV was too small, but for the messages to be heard, it was adequate. Also the cleanliness was okay. We had all-inclusive. So if you leave the table hungry is, has your own fault. It was for any taste enough there. There were quite many young people to 30 since. Apart from that rather in our age middle 50 and end 60. Probably we were lucky with other nationalities. What I or quite bitter comment I have is, were the vacationers from the ossiland. Unfortunately have everything to complain about had, whether young or old.

To the beach 50 meters. Airport transfer 45 minutes shopping on every corner.
