Little hotel, much London!

As affordable place to spend the night as a part of a city break to London the hotel is well suited, if you really are in any luxury declined.
Hyde Park, Paddington Station, as well as Lacaster gate are almost just round the corner. We could all the best to reach on foot and thus the unpleasantly full London subway avoid. Several bus lines run in the area.
The room was relatively large, although run-down. In shower and bathroom general you could turn around. Unfortunately we were in the changing once no towels and also otherwise is the service rather ... minimal.
The front desk for the hotel is in a apartment-hotel on the other side of the road.
The 'breakfast' is located in the basement and seemed unfortunately not particularly inviting; the breakfast itself is rather minimalist.
All together however is the value for money definitely reasonable - this however always background: luxury will not be posted. read more

For a budget hotel in Bayswater (right on the Hyde park) is the Paddington first choice. Unfortunately, there is no lift, especially for the price the upper floors. Everything is very clean, the shower works perfect. And the mattress was not soft.
the breakfast is for London proportions top.
toast, cheese, boiled eggs, croissants, muesli, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, yoghurt.
the people at the front desk and breakfast were very friendly and helpful. read more

This 'Hotel ' is can only be recommended, if you are only there to sleep at night. However, the rooms are very clairaudient, you hear the neighbors and the tv. The furniture is very, very old, hard to describe. The television had three channels. The curtains were from the Victoria niches, age, as well as the whole hotel. We had a room on the seventh floor, this means 81. Steps without elevator.
The check-in process was extremely smooth. The breakfast is served on the pasteboard Waschkeller 'served' in the former. There were two sorts of toast, croissants ausgepackte from slide ..., apple juice and orange juice got refilled, hot water for Pulver-coffee available, then jam and honey and sealed sample packet of Gouda. But there was a wide selection of sample packages of cereal.
Seating possibilities were very tight, chairs on the floor very loud when they were moved, so rather annoying as a cozy breakfast. You should rather have done without it. Only laugh. (cry is it actually rather)
Conclusion: London is definitely worth a visit.
If you just want a place to just sleep and two pieces of toast is satisfied, you can visit this 'Hotel ', otherwise I would investierén more money, to go to a normal Hotel. read more

One introdution: don't forget it only a 2 star choice. My opinion but fit very good value for money. We had a very spacious room on the fourth floor (please note - no elevator). The Federkernmatzatzen have past their best but justifiable. Bathroom was a bit tiny ( alone on use), but clean. The breakfast ( at the price included) was pleasantly surprised and was the standard adequate. For a short break to recommend wengen, also the subway ( two stops away from five respectively to ten minute walk) read more

For a long time we looked forward to our London trip. London was super, the hotel unfortunately not. On the “double bed” (approx. 1, 40 width) was a mattress totally through-lain. The room was so small that one with each way in the “bath” (tiny wobbly metal wash basin, which functioned to Klospühlung only after repeated attempts, paper cups to teeth deseams) the legs at the bed edges on tore oneself. On the window a totally dusty and broken shutter hung. The window could be pushed only about 5 cm highly. Was practically not possible for air. Without the breakfast ... in the cellar we did voluntarily, after we had noticed an extreme chemistry smell from the lower Gefilden. To the crowning conclusion we did not even have warm water in the bath, which acknowledged the reception only with a “Oh, sorry” on the departure day… read more

Super nice hotel near the Cirkle line. Rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast could be lush but ok. 250 Euro for 4 nights (2 persons) I would not hesitate to re-book. read more

Small hotel in direct proximity (northern) of the Hyde park. In this quarter happened in the evening much and does not have to fall back to a taxi. For this reason/I would want to descend the next time directly in Kensington. The hotel is not anything special. Everything is completely ok, in addition, no more. One makes surely nothing wrongly, if one all day long is in the city and then in this hotel for sleeping eincheckt, more however in no case. read more
