The hotel preserves its high standard. In particular the cuisine is extraordinary good. The SPA is still great relaxation suitable. Since we traveled in the off season, in order to have some peace, we in ... the wellness area. The noise in the float bath are enormous, since everything is open. I would like to hear not every private conversation. I could not avoid, in the smaller room if I go, the bathrooms has water. There are no possibilities for relaxing. The leisure activities offered are high-quality. The steam room was positioned in an awkward place. Next to the front door. The Archtitekt was probably never have a sauna? We were allowed to enjoy after four years the hotel had ideal Hagen once again. The food was great, the selection of cakes in the afternoon to the coffee sensational. This hotel has the Wow factor. We believe it is an old-fashioned in the positive sense, conservative-run Hotel. The decor is a bit older, but everything is very well maintained and clean. In some areas (for example, lobby) the hotel was a bit over decorated and plush, but with a very personal Charme, it is not a chain hotel! Everywhere there were fresh roses.
The hotel is located right on the Dike a bit out of the way in Cuxhaven Dunen. Good strolling possibilities on the Dike and the Wadden Sea. Dunen as the place is not very nice; however, there are some restaurants and cafes. ...
Our room on the fourth floor of the bathrooms tract was spacious and bright. Over the whole width of the room-balcony had a very good view of the ocean and Cuxhaven. The restaurants and bars near the hotel left nothing to be desired, but it was very cramped. The quality of the hotel Wellness several sea water pools, saunas, Jacuzzi, waterfall area and everything was very well-kept and quiet for relaxation.
The staff of the hotel was always very friendly and helpful and provided us with good tips for the walks.
The highlight of the hotel (and for us the most important reason to the hotel) however the kitchen: the restaurant Schaarhörn is excellent, the restaurant besternte Sterneck terrific: the visit was worth it alone. It is, in both restaurants excellent and uniform Presidente rich vegetarian menus are available. Everything is just right here and that is why we will be back sometime. read more

I was on a quiet stress free weekend after the last business meeting looking forward to it. Unfortunately I could not sleep in the first night, because this hotel and our room faced a busy street and the traffic all night. Not that this is the cheapest room was. blackout drapes there is not by default - only on request. The room had a mini bar, the empty and only fully stocked upon request. The bathroom has a "Terrapool", which is an jacuzzi is with the charm of the 70 's. In this bath you have a body of 1. ...65 meters only sit (far too small). If you want the jets in no way this Terrapool you use. The bathroom sealant bröseln. The fixtures are partly worn. A massage or the like we did not more. We wanted to have a cozy evening in the bar with advisor always asked us where the. - A room locked up - closed. The bar person said: " you can drink your wine yet cozy in the hallway" - we therefore thankfully declined. I have never in my life seen such a rip-off! The room rate per person 145, -€ incl. breakfast is absolutely over-priced. generous My rating: poor 4 star. The friendly staff at the front desk and breakfast can do anything about it. read more

End July we stayed for a short break in the badhotel star Hagen. We enjoyed the relaxing time as after one and a half weeks vacation, this has certainly use of the Spa area (free!) helped. The buffet breakfast, which leaves nothing to be desired, you can enjoy with view of the North Sea. The hotel is located directly behind the dyke. Conclusion: anytime again and we can only recommend it! read more

According to the second time there for a few days and loved it: and nicely equipped rooms excellently managed, suites and public areas.
If you are in the restaurants for lunch and dinner the meals enjoyed, you can go anywhere else more food. Of course, the great sterne neck; the chef has its merit awards, the head waiter and the service department.
Such a well-managed hotel is rare; thanks also to the presence of the 'heads'. We will be back soon, in order to be spoiled in the US. read more

The location of the hotel is perfect, on the Dike is one at the beach. We had a suite with a fantastic view of the sea.
The suite was great but the decor wasn't to our taste. It seemed to late sixties everything from. But that is probably a matter of taste.
Wellness area is okay, but between 12:00 and why the 2:00 P.M. is closed? The gourmet restaurant is highly recommended, the other two are from our point of view, in relation to expensive. Breakfast was good, at these prices for 8 €Krabbenrührei? Price/performance ratio generally ... 10-20% too high.
To the staff I can't say anything negative, very nice.
Nevertheless, we would book this hotel. read more

Furnishings, careless and insensitive we enjoyed the hotel and the staff. Petty we found, with 320 Euro for one night for crabs for scrambled eggs at an extra charge of eight euro to be on the safe side. The rooms are partly carelessly and with a view on an ugly backyard equipped. The gourmet restaurant goes to convince by levels of quality and service. read more
