Nice guesthouse with 10 rooms + 1 apartment directly at the beach. Rooms are spacious, with a ceiling fan. Cleaning the room and change of towels and bed sheets multiple times a week. Room with bed and breakfast. Restaurant with delicious cuisine, and nice beach bar. Wi-fi available. Lots of regular guests. Mostly german. Host nilanthe also spoke perfect german. Polite and friendly staff. Family business. Nilanthe is a with all helpful and also organises excursions. All around very good and very good relaxation. read more

    The guesthouse is directly at the beach. Distance to the airport about 120 kilometer. transfer is on request from nilanthe organized and took well 3 hours however by the newly built highway now much faster. Evening cozy drink at the beach bar with great music. Shops easy to reach on foot in the immediate area. Bus stop 2-minute walk away. By bus after galle (beautiful provincial town) about 15 minutes for a few cents.

For all the times correctly relax want is here the right place. Service was great, the sea on the doorstep, beach under palm trees, food phenomenal. The staff is very friendly, helpful and competent. One speaks german. We felt as in a large family home. Very recommendable. Explored from there Sri Lanka - or is simply under palm trees at the beach. Nearby good excursion possibilities. A genuine alternnative to 5 * all-inclusive. Pure nature. We fly again next year %blank%. read more

In the year 2010, I visited at dusk rooms and apartment quite sketchily. The size the facility-only the apartments -considered me, a friend to book. when we however in this apartment came, met us stroke: scant, very dirty decor, the living room or coziness no trace, totally rusty Kocher, rusty cutlery, useless kitchen, except mugs, plates, glasses Sink with many rust spots, surface of the kitchen cupboards dirty and sticky, Holes in the tablecloth and also in a bed sheet, there was no possibility to put things in the bathroom, water tap in the bathroom rusty and filthy, shower with ... hardly flowing, only cold water in short: we wanted to immediately this property leaving, and I went immediately to search for something better, which I for the same price several times found. only after hour, the host a, on our register and the full price stock, and otherwise the police wanted. he promised, lot to improve,-we stayed- today I say-unfortunately! After a week asked us Nilantha, if we all pay could, he needs the money, a loan for his newly won House in the evening due. We paid. A receipt we got not, this, I then on the next day even from and left me the receipt of the total sum of Nilantha sign. the Verzehrrechnung was in a book from the host written down, there was no evidence for the guest. (also at other guests) Now we had no trust more and went to the tourist police with the intention, that we our accommodation change immediately and the already paid money reimbursed. Nilantha was now ready, the half back to give, which we cannot agree. in short: we lived and ate the from, what we already paid for. since the cleaning of the apartments very bad, I asked Nilantha, he should even carry out checks, I got as an answer 'but I have my people'! in the 26 days 5 times swept, 5 x we got often even stained towels. the apartment the facade side, so amazing traffic noise during the day and night.     breakfast as already everywhere described, it was enough for us. since we only 1 egg ate, we ordered all 2 days a little cheese, us with 200, -RS. Extra will be charged. after our engagement with Nilantha we bought this in the store and purchase thus everything, which we had paid, including our 2 eggs of principle!

    Room service absolutely not satisfactory. Kitchen cupboards with the hand-brush swept, afterwards the Kehrricht zusammengefegt. Never was apartment mopped, swept. the 2 young, the US the breakfast served, were always friendly and gave a lot of effort. After 20 days understood it, the we daily the same ordered. They went to our needs.

Never again? Well, as some guests this year there have listed, you almost wish they are not more meeting. Almost every sentence drhte is' I only want to local prices pay, everything too expensive, everything was rip-off, in the reason was nothing a good hair left I should like to say, that in Sri Lanka the prices tightened, so for example for electricity +25% within a year. But also all other Goods and services. A weak euro at the exchange noticeable power. I have many guests in the Palm beach and almost all felt very comfortable. Service, food and accommodation ... were so, as a beach vacation wishes. The complete staff the biggest trouble, the guests the stay as pleasant as possible. Annoying was I however of 2 couples and sometimes for their behavior ashamed.' parties' of the owner in the time I have never experienced. There was a event, the somewhat entry taken (1200 Rupees = 8 euros). This happened but not the owner good, but the dancers and waitresses, musicians and Bühnenhelfern, this show on the stage brought. And if you wanted, looked into the show 'free' of its terrace at. The police gave it really, but the police are again share deducted, as no complaints noticed and other guests no complaints confirm could. In all the years in which I Palm beach vacation made, were my invoices always correct, I have, of course, additional orders for the food also extra paid, but probably everywhere on the world is common. Palm Beach never again? Well, as some guests this year there mentioned, you want it almost be not more to see. Almost every sentence began with ' i pay only local prices 2 everything too expensive, everything rip-off, in fact, nothing a good hair left. I would like to say, that also in Sri Lanka For example electricity within a year around 25% increase, of course the prices for others were. All the guests with whom i have spoken, felt ausgesprocen probably, none of us had something to complain about, the service, or about the food or at the property. ... The complete staff the biggest trouble the guests to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Gernevt of 2 couples were lots of guests, for some impudent behavior of these guests have been ashamed. Parties of the holder? As i at the same time there was, where this the place is? There was a special event, with a low fee fell due. This happened but not the owner, but the artists and their helpers to good. But also since continued this couple rather on their terrace, in order to save money and free to watch. And the police? Landlord prefers to invest in parties, as in his establishment. If one touches on it then he reacts very aggressively. We were personally there, when he had problems with other German guests, and he even called the tourist police to help. We have two beautiful weeks in this Gesthuse spent about south of centre, so a bit quieter, therefor with a great beach. Down the stairs, past the restaurant and you're in the sand.
