It is really also different. Is quiet in a pleasant ambience. A few loungers under palm trees, the next first 10 meters further. No crowd or chatting. Although all rooms were full. Comfortable quiet bar, wonderful places to sit in front of the bar by the pool. Hotel( club) hall with armchairs and books. The nice from plants framed ways to the rooms made immediately good mood. read more

    It was mainly outside eaten directly at the stranddühne. This is a unique. During the meals is falling then the sun in the sea and special not insects anlockende yellow lamps go to.     The clubeigene spa area is included in the price. There, there are beautiful showers and saunas. Everything new and well maintained. A very nice fitness room with profiausstattung. The spa manager an austrian very competent. riesenhallenbad. Nail care and so on off course for a fee. Of course always enough sunbeds. So we will go there to get some inselpunkte to visit.

    In the beautiful green part the island. Far enough by the ortsstraße way. No traffic noise. All interesting excursions beach chairs in the lobby from depending upon organizer. Car rental from the country club recommendable, drive the car directly in front of, nice lenders, 300 meters away.

The hotel st. George' s bay country club is a unique blend of style and hotel. The whole place is more like a big village in a 60' 000 meters ² large tropical garden! Whoever is looking for rest and relaxation, the time as a couple to enjoy, is right at home here! The guests are mainly from Germany, Austria and the Switzerland and in the age middle thirty upward. For parents with children the hotel isn't recommendable! read more

    We had room in the upper floor of a house. Entrance area, fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with shower, sleeping area and a large set terrace. Our room was reasonable and functional. It was probably a the room it was not renovated was. The cleanliness held itself within limits... The bathroom was only every 2.-third day reasonably cleaned. What not in my opinion is, since despite caution and shoes again and again sand from the beach mitschleppt. Looked like then the bathroom also always easily neglected. :-O At the end still: the bed was incredibly hard and for us with 1.60 meters wide rather a bit narrow. But that does not mean, it was bad!

    The restaurant ( where all meal times served ) is located directly by the sea and offers protected places in a winter garden, a set terrace or a inside area with fireplace. The kitchen is varied and offers beside many local or regional specialties also always a vegetarian menu at. We had the half board and got in the evening always a fine food in 5 courses (soup, appetizer, salad, main course, dessert) serves. The portions are adequate but not overly large. The large meals we recommend definitely at noon, in one of the small beach, a small treat to order. In the garden area is still the prince phillipe bar, we were there however only 1 times. And can therefore only the greek coffee rate. It was with 2.50 Euro much more expensive than in the village and unfortunately also much much worse (watery, no strong mocca... Unfortunately!).

    No animation, no noise, no the sound of children shrieking and yelling! So you can enjoy it! The beach section is 8 kilometer long and in the sea it can be good for swimming. Hotel guests should free of charge the pool in the hotel garden, as well as the set sea water pool (25 meters) and the wellness facilities (various saunas, steam room, salt water grotto, whirlpool) use. A special feature is: the children (-16 years old) accompanied by adults the pools use must. Therefore may be shouting and 'ass bombs' in the pool definitely way!

    The hotel complex with the massive garden borders directly at the wonderful beach section ( sand-gravel mixed). The beach section is through the hotel staff well maintained/cleaned. However you had to for the use of the beach chairs a small contribution (2.20 Euro per beach chair and 2.20 Euro per sun screen) the municipality collect is. What but also completely okay is. The center from Acharavi in a few minutes (5 to 10 minutes) comfortable on foot be achieved. The next supermarket is also in pleasant vicinity (about 5 minute walk). Cafes, restaurants and various shops, included pharmacies, doctors, hospital are also in town available.

Suitable for couple or singles without (small) children. Small but fine place for relaxing without disturbing animation. Very friendly staff. You know, what the informal character turned out. Lots of regular guests on the complex. read more

We wanted us from just a few relaxation and had on the basis of the information from the travel agency already high expectations. But they were still totally outreached. This hotel is a peaceful oasis and here you can really down. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very well-kept, but you are actually in the middle in a great gorgeous garden lined with all possible plants and flowers is. The rooms are clean and very generous. The in-house spa complex leaves nothing to the imagination. Who doesn't feel himself well over here, that is not to ... help. read more

The complex itself is nice with two-storey guest houses, green embedded. Only few houses have view of the see. We had a suite, unfortunately with a 140 to 160 cmbett. We would have liked two separate had, but it was at the time no other suite with two beds free. The suite has a living room with a tv, couch and kitchen counter. Commendable: pans, pots etc. Everything available, two hotplates and large fridge. The bathroom could once again on the door frames be deleted. Shower just. However there was even a bidet. badtechnisch definitely not 4-stars. The terrace was ... large, but almost overgown unfortunately from vines. Because of this the room was basically relatively dark the days. In the heat it is okay, but gives nevertheless a crippling character. It was clean in any case and the daily cleaning was also reasonable. We had booked accommodation with breakfast which in the restaurant, partly open and covered, with a view of the sea took place. The was very pleasant. The selection at the buffet more than adequate. We only German tourist ( mainly between and years) and it appears that the structure of the guests also too many German. All greeted already automatically with 'good morning', so that barely assumed that the person anderssprachig is. Children we have no sighting, but we assume, that the complex it is rather unsuitable.     The building and room themselves are not the latest state, but clean and with the gardening it seriously. In the park-like complex run chickens freely and we could even chick see. The suite was approximately 45 meters² large, divided into two rooms, bedroom and living area with integrated kitchenette. Furniture is average.     We missed a pool bar or a bar for evenings where one can sit and music playing. There is a bar-corner by the pool, but it was always empty and one had not the impression, as if evenings there times more than 2a 3 persons sit. As the direct beach nothing comparable to find and get back to run had, this was somewhat disappointing. The restaurant however what we only for breakfast went, was clean, the reasonable food and good. No rip-off price.

    The sporting activities ( horse riding etc.) who the hotel even offered was nothing for us. Leisure offers there are on the complex itself almost no. Internet Wi-Fi is available, animation nothing, disco nothing and a hotel's own small mini store is missing also. Highlight was the spa area, some of the missing points has made up. The indoor swimming pool with open roof and good warm temperature is fantastic, hot tub and steam bath complements the still. We also have twice massages booked, the also perfect. At the beach like by the pool there are loungers for the hotel guests, here you always get a from, no fight (very good). Also sun screens the offers are. Showers I immediately not directly seen, is however certainly available. One knows towels itself against kautiongebühr directly at the front desk borrow. Basically the hotel is for a relaxing -tourist great.

    The complex is right next to beach, short distances so, very positive. The way to the airport is a half adventure, at the back -transfer it was very slow and it took almost 2 hours until we in the hotel were. Supermarket is located in the town, on foot circa 10 minutes entertainment possibilities almost no available. For young people also dancing want to go not recommendable. The beach -bars in the immediate area of the hotel are spectacular. You would have to have a little hike in attack to take a beautiful beach lounge. The town itself is boring and offers no entertainment, stretched in length and it is a lot of walking announced as long as you don't rental car has. For those seeking tranquillity is the location, as well as the hotel optimally suitably. The possibilities for outings were reasonable, even though you like a bit more action offered to have would like. We have a 'pirate trip' made, the only one boat with food in a bay. The excursion with the boat to Corfu-city was ok for shopping go. Apart from that was from cleanliness rather not particularly good. Also in the neighboring rhoda the lethargy by. We stayed here on a trip with a speed-boat, but rather a chug was fast. Nevertheless was still the most spectacular experience in things trip. The same goes for the catamaran-trip the we in the neighboring hotel booked. Quiet and boring. The guides in general were nothing special motivated, perhaps it is also because of the current crisis in Greece.

St. George Bay Hotel and Spa - no extra cost - tennis - spa - sun furniture on the beach - fitness - great breakfast - nice chilled lounge and library with super fast wi-fi - amazing flower park and gardens - just paradise. I worked a bit while my wife and two children had the best of times - we rented a car at an incredible low price and took small trips around in the area - good scuba diving with dive-easy in Acharavi. read more

After years searches finally the perfect hotel for relaxing, relaxation and be comfortable found. Charming designed, local small house in a garden Paradise, staff, the visibly happiness has, the guests to spoil and a varied food in best beach area - ideal for everyone, the without animation, early reserve from loungers and close-to-close-tan '. Also in the 2. stay ( previously August/September) we had not a single Wasp. Mosquitos are there, but they're so small, that we at least bites usually not noticed. Furthermore is thanks to the screens the bedroom schnakenfrei stop. And autan there are also still. read more

In this complex is peace and relaxation capitalized, so no animation or other activities. For party goers absolutely unsuitable. For children unsuitable, since the pool at least 1.65 deep, no playground, the restaurant has no children's menu. Cleaned restaurant with amazing service. SPA and fitness area very good. Very large and well kept pool with always enough pool chairs, 'reservierungshandtücher' unwanted and unnecessary. Only a few unbelehrbare. read more

We had only a week in the agency and the altogether original and rural. So was Acharavi only once a shock ( Radaukneipen, souvenir shops; restaurants, the even in Mallorca or Rimini to find). In the esthetic country Club -complex you can Acharavi however forget ( on the other hand: without the country club, I would Acharavi stand). Luckily we had a car and taste beautiful objectives in the area we wanted to (small coves, mountain villages, sunset -tavern etc.). The breakfast at the country club was tidy, but could be a bit varied his. The cheese and the ... tomatoes is also olive oil on the table, but that was from the same modest quality as in the most pub the island. We had in Kerkyra a small bottle of premium oil bought and took the then for breakfast with. The park -complex the country club is very for relaxation and really a feast for the eyes. Nice, the couple Chickens and roosters, they run around and with their gekrähe somewhat rural atmosphere spread. The spa -complex and the massages are highly professional. Was pleasant, the club serious German Newspapers was displayed. I have a lot of time spent, under palm trees newspaper to read. The possibilities to go swimming in the pool and in the sea are great. The air conditioning and the screen kept the mosquitoes in chess. The staff are friendly and the management seems German hand to beach chairs. So everything worked, but the actual cordialness is missing. So we had our documents photocopied, but no one noticed, that one of us during the stay a round birthday. read more

Choice of sea water and fresh water. Quiet ambience with very nice guests, very well maintained blooming garden areas with enough sunbeds under great palm trees (not already early in the morning with towels 'occupied' are). All very clean and well-kept! Excellent spa hotel with competent staff from Austria and Thailand. How much lots of guests we come for many decades (!) here, and this complex always only got better. The spa with the massive pool you want to not at all leave. The staff are in this crisis the most amiable and you can all only the best wishes. We consider in September to return. Super nice and well-kept grounds, great Spa area, apartment could be reconditioned times. The biggest problem was the mosquitos and aggressive! Without long sleeve and with autan eing eenter the dinner is not handy to survive, the whole vacation is broken. Morning breakfast at the many wasps! The sea was a dream quality of the water was top. Conclusion: we wouldn't stay again main mosquitos and wasps! read more

For the third time we have visited the hotel, and we enjoyed it very much. Especially to be highlighted was the peace, on the very important-no animation, no music. A beautiful resort, a village similar, is located in a very well-kept, a botanical garden comparable, area. Recreation search for friends, which the hotel recommended, loved it. read more

This hotel is comparable with other versus bad. It has a very special flavor, this one, in order to understand the concept. Some things are well above the level of four stars, for example, the excellent designed spa area with sea water swimming pool and various saunas or the decor of the rooms with bathrobes and slippers. You have to accept faults in other areas, such as the very large and comfortably equipped bathrooms. Especially annoying was the poor water pressure and the tentative working batteries. 24 hour by the lack of service at the reception is something to get ... used to. You can adapt oneself however. The grounds are spacious and lovingly decorated. A nice pool area with great sun bathing area under palm trees can (almost) nothing to be desired. But life on the lawn, and, in particular, among the very many mosquitoes. We therefore have to use the less attractive areas around the pool. Mosquitoes were the only really disturbing in the restaurant. The breakfast is not very sumptuous, but very varied. Fruit and various fried eggs change daily. At dinner you should at least be 7:30 P.M. The menu consists of four courses and was always very tasty. Is finished at around 9:00 P.M. and the glorious sunset can enjoy. This is however only, if you are sufficiently protected against mosquitos. (Helped us only the very smelly autan-basic prefer to bring home, according to certain types of one must look for something) after sunset clouds of mosquitos on all the visitors sit in terms of restaurants. You can really only take flight. Especially a pity is that the theme nights. The concept of seating on selection of the food was excellent. In these evenings you can sit on any longer in the restaurant and then only and the mosquito nets employed. We found this very sad. The few spirals, be established are simply not enough. That there is another way we experienced in Harry's bar (we can only recommend, the neon sign after). There were hardly any mosquitos, but also substantially more of these spirals. With our room we were satisfied. However, our travel agent had asked before our arrival to a room on the upper floor. The decor is, as we at a hotel in colonial style had imagined. The carpet in the bedroom was a bit worn. The mattresses were so hard, that they may never worn. We liked the kitchenette. Thus we had to make the possibility on the day of departure we have breakfast, since the restaurant is open until 8:00 A.M. If you want a room on the ground floor must be very fond of. Here we have heard many mosquitos and spiders. Even a small lizard under the door we see slip through. If you book a trip in the evening for dinner and not be, (with half board) get a voucher at the reception for lunch, the works, although the Tour operator says. The beach was with stones. Because of the stones in the water we preferred bathing shoes. Explore the island with a rental car in any case. This is much cheaper, if you book from home. It is easier on the island, if you are trying to 10:00 A.M. to achieve his aims. The streets and especially the ortsdurchfahrten are very narrow, with oncoming traffic must always avoid. After our last bites are healed, we can say, that we had a relaxing and definitely not boring holiday. Because of the mosquitos, however, we will probably no regular customers in this hotel. read more

The property is spacious and very well maintained, the grounds are very impressive. Accommodation in our indeed clean, but very simply furnished and worn apartment did not at all the standard gängingen four star. The dinner was always good and varied, the breakfast buffet but rather monotonous and especially the selection of fresh fruit wasn't very appealing. The waiters were good service, but staff not in the location used table-ware during the breakfast clearing. read more
