Carpet in the room, the margins for a long time not vacuumed. Daily change of towels. Very small shower. Mattresses were good. In the entire hotel/ room it smelled very strongly of old after Shave or mothballs. Wi-Fi, first hour free, any further rate 1.50 Euro or 10 €on the day. Save in the room, however by us was not used, therefore no idea because of the costs. Dinner is in the neighboring hotel as 3-course menu serves. You can for breakfast the menu for the evening assemble. Us it tasted very good and it was sufficient. Pool is ... large and well maintained. Locked and secure parking. The name is program. The Hotel Royal comes mediterranean british royal therefore. Dark Holzvertäffelungen, heavy carpets, britisher style of wallpaper etc. - all together harmonious. And if you like it, will love it.
The location is very good. Only a small street separates the hotel of beach and port. The hotel lies at a small place with some smaller food places. In the city center of bolsena is approximately 500 meters the road upstairs. Belongs to the hotel a dump parking.
The pool and the pool area are very clean and well cared for. Shade places are unfortunately somewhat rare. ... Same goes for the loungers - at least at the weekend, at the Italian guests ( we were the only German) already before breakfast your couch with a towel reserve: Therefore, this prejudice not alone on us German to.

The location of the hotel directly on the promenade we really liked. Short walk to the center bolsena with all the necessary shops. Strategically good starting point for many excursions in the area like for instance Orvieto. read more

Who once in a good hotel from the last century a couple of days wants to live, the is in the right place here: ready for shooting! We made a trip of our holiday house in the Chiantigebiet in the hotel Royal for one night station, there we into the south of the Toskana, to which lago di bolsena and after Umbrien made. The hotel is directly because of the lake only from a small park separately and has a pleasant size. Cleanliness and the total condition, so far we view had are outstanding. We had booked only with breakfast and were not not content, however one must consider that it with € 5. - was also not particularly highly set per person. The Café (espresso) was ... not the straight best, which we drank in Italy, and believes them to us we was from South Tyrol to Sicilies already nearly everywhere. (my man is Italian). The rolls were hard, the Cornetto (crescent) were drying and without filling, as alternative gave it only packaged Crostatine. The ham was cheapest form ham, which fell apart and which in a country, in which there is protruding ham in all variations. One can cook oneself the eggs normally, but were none more in the basket. On demand we got ice-cold hardcooked eggs, which were blue around the yellow, certainly from the refrigerator of the Vortag. All in all one became full, but we would have rather paid the double and would have enjoyed a good breakfast in the actually beautiful environment. The hotel is located directly on the harbor from the bolsenasee. It has a beautiful large pool with beach chairs and umbrellas. Before the hotel is a kiosk is visited mainly by young people, the concerns every night with their bikes for significant noise. The breakfast is adequate. It is cold meat, cheese, fruit and jam.
