As many other reviews described the hotel already a bit outdated. The rooms are okay, however needs again augemalt and the carpet should be out. The shower is in my opinion quite large ( room number 207). The cleanliness could be better, but it was acceptable. ( room, bathroom, dining room ) the breakfast was for Italian standards good. There were 3 different types of sausage, fried eggs, Bacon, cheese, jams, Spreads and everything else you need.
The dinner was always good and very plentiful. You could at the vortag choose between 3 pasta ( appetizers) and 2 main courses ... ( fish, meat) the often mentioned ' Schweinstelze ' there are, you have to but not. Apart from that was always something Italian for everyone (pasta, fish dishes) only point of criticism for the food the desserts, which were carelessly prepared, and tasted sometimes bland. The location is central in Garda, the beautiful town center with old streets are about 500 meters and to the lake are about 700 -800 meters. You have nevertheless the feeling that you in green surroundings and it was very quiet. Parking spaces in the hotel area are rarity, but you can outside on a large parking lot with gravel guest parking. Excursions there were plenty of. read more

Here we would never have another vacation want.
The rooms are functional, uncomfortable. The same goes for bar and lobby, somehow everything together cubed from inventory.
The worst however was the restaurant, respectively the lounge service: the times for the food were 6:30 P. M. or 8:00 P. M. There was a salad- and dessert area. Appetizer and main course on the day before by note is selected.
We had about 15 minutes to wait, until we drinks order, were served after again 10 minutes, who hunger had, had salad food (I don't like salad at this late ... hour ), afterwards the appetizer and it was all all this: this has been presented ( waiter with large bowls and put on the plate of the guest the food), then collective clearing and long wait, afterwards the main course ( was on plates). Tasted everything was great, but this kind of service requires extreme patience for the guest.
May be, that Italian behavior at the table was designed, only in a hotel as this you can not apply it.
We felt in 5 days this torture just 2 times pleased (on the 1st day, because we didn't know and on third day, because we other layer to try) was every time a catastrophe.
Pool was only superficially cleaned.
In short: never, never again. read more

The hotel is somewhat outdated, but it was charm. 2 pools are available with verandahs bar. Unfortunately a bit loud, as you directly on the street are. The food is great. Very extensive breakfast buffet ( fried eggs, various types of sausage, cheese, fruit, muesli etc.) the dinner is also very good. It starts with a salad- and antipasti buffet. Afterwards one selects from 2 sorts pasta the gang way because from, afterwards choose between fish or meat as a main entrance. Finally there is a dessert area available ( fruit, pudding, cakes and so on) delicious! The rooms ... are functionally furnished. The hygiene is exemplary. read more

The hotel is good reachable and isn't far from the town center away. The parking spaces at the hotel are very limited. You can however on a parking space in a neighboring hotel avoid. The rooms were unfortunately not too big but you got nevertheless well. A wardrobe or at least a few Hangers, we have missed. The daily change of towels in our experience pleasantly surprised, as well as the daily fresh Cloth Napkins during dinner. The staff were friendly and competent. The breakfast buffet and the dinner was sufficient and good. In view of the price-performance -proportion we ... could the building would be happy to recommend. read more

Very well run hotel. The dishes were excellent and the organization of the menus ( there are two meal times!) great. Room, staff, pool and complex completely reasonable. Will definitely go back there again! read more

Short break on Garada lake in the Hotel Palme. The hotel was completely overcrowded, food in 2 layers. Room extremely loud and stickig, since because of cigarette smoke and animation ( music) from the bar no window open. Table in the dining room from the worn, plate only half available. Food lower level. read more

It was once again great! The room and above all the balcony were large. The food was varied and very good and the very attentive waiters. The hotel lies in an optimal location the place in 3 to 5 minutes you are in the center.
The front desk could have been a little more attentive, especially whilst checking out, but that is Priomäßig not. read more

Value for money reasonable. Containers for table scrap would be attached. The first meal time (18 hours -7:30 P. M.) is tight. Collect a drink from 7:15 P. M.. It would be an advantage, if the beverages to the room be booked may. A mini bar ( room) missing. read more

Nevertheless I was more than a modern giant hotel, since one never the feeling had that lots of people in the hotel are, even though it was nearly full. The rooms are okay, however needs again augemalt and the carpet should be out. The shower is however extremely small, I still never saw, you drop one can have therein certainly not. The cleanliness could be better, but it was acceptable. ( room, bathroom, dining room ) the breakfast was for Italian standards good. The location is central in garda, the beautiful town center with ancient alleyways are approximately 500 meters and the lake around 700 to 800 meters. You have nevertheless the feeling that you in green surroundings and it was very quiet. Parking spaces in the hotel area are rarity, but you can outside on a large parking lot with gravel guest parking.
Excursions there were plenty of. ( about 13 kilometer to the aqua park canevaworld and the movie land, about 15 kilometer to the Gardaland)
When I took a visit to the Gardaland ( at least in the high season ) definitely discourage must. The complex is however great, but it is extremely crowded. 37,5 Euro per person is already happig, but you should then a whole day queue. ( waiting times approximately 30 to 90 minutes per travel company - no joke!) the largest insolence there is however I believe that the 'express lane' -as you can about 15€ a few tickets with which you buy in the queue 'insist' must. In my opinion is the entire park only on abzocke aligned.
Okay, now back to the hotel - I can for a one-week stay definitely recommendable! read more

Never again Hotel Palme. Because of the ageing hotels are the three stars for us not more justified. The staff respond to complaints arrogant and very rude, the willingness to help the procurement problem isn't available. The guests then usually just left and ignored. Problem and criticisms are in this hotel not allowed.

A house from the 70., probably was always only with color updated. Unfortunately, because the location and complex are really good. 5 minutes on foot to the center and a beautiful park under acacia and olive trees, 2 pools and large lobby/ bar. read more

Food was fine and also sufficiently available, only the fruit buffet could have been bigger. Facilities is already getting a bit old. For people who are not on a five star hotel is possible, is this hotel completely sufficient, since it is very convenient. ( were in the peak season and for a grown-up circa 370 Euro paid)
Shopping options there were many on the promenade.
I can recommend in any case the Italian ice cream place bullio in the direction promenade. read more

Centrally located hotel, ideal for short breaks. Pleasant staff, not the newest standard but quite livable. With the half-board in the evening menu with choice of the menus, fish or meat included appetizers- and desserts buffet. Unfortunately go to two pools the streets past, without the, would be the pool perfect to relax. For the cheap price the hotel is definitely recommendable. We will be back. read more

All together the hotel was ok. However nothing more. The check-in took very long. The room was uncomfortable and dirty, the windows we could not close as it was broken. The food was quite okay but not diverse. The staff in the restaurant was totally unfriendly. The pool was clean and nice. read more

Food: despite half board have we after the 1. Test not more eaten.

In spite of the partly here on this portal prior to read, very mixed reviews we had because of the good location and not least, of course because of the very good price decided, the hotel Palme a opportunity to give. The greetings and the visit the room were however a shock: the hotel has the charm a youth hostel from the early 80. Years, gives a dark atmosphere with endless courses, all somewhat abgeschmuddelt and dirty. The hotel has a shaded parking garage, unfortunately only with about 15 spaces, these are felt 300 too few. In case you are ... lucky enough, on the rest of the, everywhere chaotic parked hotel area a parking space to have found, it is advisable, the rest of his stay not more of there way to move, because the glückloseren parkplatzsuchern remains only the way to a unsupervised parkland behind the hotel. read more
