Even without a large and high expectations to have, you can get from this' hotel' only disappointed his. In particular, as a negative point to say: the cleanliness is amazing to desire, the air conditioning blowing directly on the bed, amazing of bugs( for example in the washing machine were not less than 30 dead cockroaches to find) and, and, and... We will definitely not stay there again! read more

from the outside see the complex yes really nice from. But the rooms shabby until the last in the fan had one eighth the non-the head at the third stage the beds worn out. The cleaning room begarrs all description. On the saucers were the coffee edges of the last tenant. The cold water was never cold. You could shower. The fridge so iced over, that they are no longer cool. read more

    staff at the front desk partly nice and sometimes musty. complaints were not taken. cleaning of the rooms a foreign word. Floor dirty. Armcharis and table in the front garden saw the last time probably before 1 month water.

    during our travels it was too hot. Internet not with nitrogen possible. City of drunk Aborigines populated.

Hotel in bungalow style, under new management and so not everything was being renovated. The pool was optically beautiful, however, was not cleaned. Closed area, very good-not quite cheap restaurant, internal shopping, price-performance ratio is acceptable. read more

Friendly welcome at the front desk. Competent declarations and reservation for excursions. Room and bathroom was spacious. Kitchen very well equipped with dishes, etc. would have been desirable liquid at a temperature of 40 degrees the a/c before our arrival already in use would be. 35 degrees warm a room is not even minus pleasant. Pool nice clean despite the many trees the pleasant shade. Plenty of pool towels as well as daily clean linen in the bathroom. Despite the heavy rain 3 tag we could breakfast on the terrace. The choice of food in the 'shopping center' can be ... a little bit bigger. Car rental or taxi needed to get into the city., but it wasn't't a problem because the staff was very helpful. read more

The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the "center" of Alice Springs. If you the next morning or evening makes a Outbacksafari came back, this place is fine. There is a Left Luggage / Storage Facilities for the duration of a tour. read more

    When I booked this hotel, I assume that that room service every day. Unfortunately, there was at the Desert Palms on weekends and holidays no room service, which means at Christmas and Easter, you just bad luck and no clean shower. The kitchen was very well equipped, the towels were adequate and in good condition. Unfortunately, the A/C not in the location, the room to a temperature control (under 25 degrees to answer the front desk: Now, it has 40 degrees outside! Finally she started dripping in the middle of the night, unfortunately on our faces, as the air conditioning sinnigerweise above the bed.

    The front desk is the Auskunftsfreudigkeit short and simple. The question of how calls, the outside reception opening hours must be provided by I was answered: "I don't know"

    At the end of the complex is a big covered BBQ facilities. I was so glad that they didn't use it as our bungalow only about 100 meters away. If you like quiet should be accommodated at time of booking: Far away from pool area and BBQ!

    Parking in front of the bungalow is convenient when the neighbor vorgekühltes a car, the engine runs just next door for minutes time. Other than that, it was very quiet, but the area was only about 50 % occupied.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Desert Palms Resort and felt quite good there. The rooms were in bungalows with covered terrace. At night it nice to sit outside. The rooms themselves were large and well appointed. Cleanliness and service gave no reason to complain. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive. A plus is, for sure, the lovely swimming pool. The hotel was located a bit outside. To the center on foot there were 20 - 25 minutes. Considering the usual hot temperatures it certainly would be better, the car. Parking in the city are plentiful. read more
