Hello,
I (38) was together with my parents (62) already for the 3. time in this hotel wattenkieker
And we are thrilled time after time. The hotel is simple chic, comfortable, familial.
The view from our room - a dream - direct lake view to wake up and go to sleep,
Simply a dream. The breakfast room is very nicely decorated, the breakfast itself
Is very extensive. The staff are always very attentive. The room is spacious, is cleaned daily. The bathroom bright and friendly. A free car park is available,
So which also offers not every hotel/every pension. This ... hotel we could really warmly recommend.
Until it is only a few meters to the beach, the town also offers a very small shopping street. read more

A recommendable hotel with good cuisine in quiet beach area
Directly next to the campsite in saalburg
Caution on arrival with the bicycle, saalburg is a whole end of Cuxhaven away. Address of the hotel promises Cuxhaven - it is however Cuxhaven-saalburg circa 12 kilometer south of the coast before the actual city Cuxhaven. read more

We enjoyed it ( family with 1 child) very good in the hotel Wattenkieker much. Although we knew from previous vacations already the restaurant or cafe, but in the hotel we had used until now still not. This was not planned, but from a other hotel in the neighborhood we are before we left, since we were not at all liked. In the wattenkieker one has taken us. And, although only a only room was available (Easter!), you made our son free in the double room with accommodated. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and delicious. The dinner ( belonged ... to room price) was very good quality and taste, and it however locally also cheaper food possibilities returns. The view of the tideland ( both from the restaurant, as well as from the room) is uniquely beautiful. The complete staff has durchängig a very friendly and always helpful impression on us. Our brought bicycles we could in a lockable garage accommodate. Only point of criticism: the Wi-Fi-use should 4 euros per day additional costs. This we found neither timely nor proportionate and declined. Apart from that but we have really nothing to moan about!-) we are definitely coming again! read more

Very good location, directly at the sahlenburger beach. Competent and friendly staff. All around a really nice hotel. Only the breakfast can be a little earlier start... It is not from 08:00 A. M. Los. The hotel is more on tourist aligned. Everything else good!

The hotel I can in any case recommend. We have the offer 'North sea exclusive' use. We got the superior double room with jacuzzi tub. The dinner is in the half board of course included. The guest get a map and then the main course a choice. The dishes all have tasted very good. Unfortunately we have no cocktail on the day of arrival receive. I the hotel can only recommend! We will definitely come back again! read more

The hotel wattenkieker is the absolute best on the square in sahlenburg, if not throughout Cuxhaven. It has a magnificent view on the Watt and the island neuwerk, to the endless Nordsee and the massive ships in Elbe drive good view. The largest schiffahrtsstraße Europe's!
The rooms offer sufficient space, toilet and bath are separate, which is very nice and the balcony is also a nice size. The rooms are very tastefully decorated. Since the dike in sahlenburg is very low, the view is simply wonderful. The sandy beach is right in front of the house. The food is very ... good, there is an extensive menu, on the something for everyone is, the fish dishes are very recommendable ( because of the Nordsee you should already fish food, where it was fresh). The staff are very friendly ( and concerned also arrange tickets for wattfahrten to the island of neuwerk for the guests), the breakfast extensive and there are plenty of parking spaces behind the house. The building is very on, it has a special building style and is located at the sahlenburger beach promenade, so you enough possibilities has a souvenir ( newspapers and everything possible) to buy or to eat somewhere else (you don't have to, but if you want to pizza has.).
You can actually not better imagine, it is just perfect. read more

The hotel features a restaurant, from which you have a direct, fantastic view of the sea. In the evening you can enjoy beautiful sunsets.
Our double room with partial view of the sea was unfortunately over the delivery entrance, where you get from 5.30 o'clock heranfahrendem car was woken up. It was an okay size. The heating in the bathroom, unfortunately, was not explained upon arrival. Only after asking at the cleaning staff. Underfloor heating in the room, the from outside is regulated. Despite tilted window at night it was the next morning very warm in the room.
Sauna ... and steam room is available at short notice (1 hour in advance) free use. Temperature of the Finnish sauna was extremely hot, Turkish restraining, but otherwise okay.
You could borrow bicycles reasonably priced.
At the check out we experienced, there was also a basket to relax there. read more

Somewhat older hotel, but well maintained and clean and nicely decorated, nice at check-in, great huge room to the sea with balcony with everything you need, great delicious restaurant with very nice and unaufdrignlichem service, we are no fish, but you have to eat it, delicious and plentiful! Breakfast buffet is very plentiful and large selection, everything the heart could desire. We will definitely go back.
Tip: 50 meters behind the hotel super delicious ice cream at the Italian restaurant! read more

This hotel has a very nice location. We have been as a couple for a long weekend of Thursday-Sunday in the hotel. We liked it immediately and all other hotels, in the area, from the outer appearance with the hotel wattenkieker not be compared.
The beach is really fascinating, a 'stones throw'. The leisure possibilities are given for young and old.
The price/performance ratio is very good and the breakfast really sufficient.
Definitely recommend this hotel to others. read more

There were three of us and only for one night. The size and cleanliness of the room and was pleasantly surprised, as it was only three star. We had a very nice view of the ocean and the price/performance ratio (compared to other hotels) and bars near the hotel are very good. But in Cuxhaven, there were except the North Sea no special possibilities for excursions. For nature lovers, children and nature lovers in a great area. read more
