Good wellness hotel in a very peaceful location with brilliant food. The wellness area is somewhat labyrinthartig and could a renovation stand. The aufgussangebot is very poor and drinks or cups for the good water may more within of the sauna area are offered. Apart from that everything is clean and the number of saunas adequate. We were for the first time in Birkenhof and were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is located in a very quiet area in location on the edge of the city and offers an ideal starting point for walks and excursions in the bavarian forest. We especially enjoyed the spacious wellness area - this can in any case with every therme compete. Towels and bathrobes are free of charge made available. The only thing which we didn't like were the lots of stairs. The food variety you can upper average place. There was nothing to fault but also no wow factor. We have been the 4. time in the Birkenhof between christmas and new year's eve and as always a dream! Really quiet ambience, a lot of sports activities (water aerobics, yoga and so on), and a very nice sauna area (thanks to Daniel and infusions)! Also very pleasant (at least for us, because we really are looking for rest and relaxation) is, that almost no children in the hotel are, may the please do so! Boss and boss is also agitating for the guests and are always represented. All in all a really successful vacation! read more

Spa absolutely top notch! Sauna area too much hallenbadcharakter and not only for the hotel guests! Therefore a bit crowded. Saunas not in the best condition and narrow spiral staircase n, which is only a one-way street to be used can. read more

We had us unfortunately for the wrong room type ( rosenquarz ) decided and were therefore a bit disappointed. This we had noisy photos bigger. Unfortunately, everything was fully booked, so ground no other rooms made available could be. Next time, which it will surely be the case, we would the rooms in the new part ( neptune's realm) decide. Otherwise, we were completely contented. Food, spa treatments, selection of cocktails in the bar simply all class. Also the staff - from the room cleaning maids, waiters, to the chef-all gave us the feeling to be really welcome. If you're looking for wellness and relaxation sets is in the right place here. A family-run hotel in which one feels simply only well. Family gram is often present: yoga course with boss Ingrid was great and the boss always knows fun things to tell, in the morning eggs fry upon request. The staff, no matter which is very friendly.
