we had a standard room (all rooms without a balcony) with a view of the America cup- port the room was modernly decorated, mini bar and safety deposit box, a Sonyflat screen, CD/DVD Plaver and free internetAccess. German TV channels were ARD and Kika. The beds were soft, but not worn out. Storage space there were inclusive hangers enough. The bathroom room was bright and modern with a shower/tub with glass wall, additional were bathrobes and slippers available. The air conditioning was very effective and relatively silent.

The transportation situation to and from the mainly Young people all in all oK, but also not outstanding friendly, which front desk and bar areas concerned. With English one got ahead also just through. The cleaning of the rooms was all right, furthermore there was evenings still a down comforter. Very enjoyable was the free internet (in the Internet area with printer -timely check in for the return flight-and at the rooms on the television screen).

The modernly decorated 4-storey hotel has about 50 rooms on 3 floors with portor view of the sea. In the basement there is a gym/wellness area (which we didn't used have), on the ground floor the front desk, a small bar, a reading/internet and a restaurant with basement direction beach promenade lying off bar terrace. In the first to third floor are the hotel room (standard or suite) and on the fourth floor a narrow, around the corner extensive outdoor terrace with chairs inclusive mats on about 6-8 lacquered hardwood floors, a drinks machine and a jacuzzi for 2a 4 people. Because of the stone tiles wall of roof terrace has you had no view to outside, but it is protected from the wind. In the middle of the building there is an upward open narrow inner courtyard with two glass elevators. Breakfast can 16 euros per person/ day be booked, but we didn't done had. A private parking the hotel has not, the parking garage under the square in front of the hotel costs 19 euros per day or you on one of the many free parking in the square. In the high season this could because of but the visitors tight to be.

Arrival: lack of air flights Frankfurt/ main, Valencia, we are from initially to Alicante and then from there on the mote free scenic beautiful north-West highway by mountains with the rental car further( about 2 hours). In 200 meters away from the metro station NEPTUNO (line 5 with easy access to the airport or city center 20 minutes/all/in the station xxx you have however every change, although the line as always is). At the seafront one can a few Miles walk, jog or bicycle drive, directly next to it you will find more small 2 and three star hotels and about 10 restaurants/ bars (including the featured in guidebooks' Pepica' rather rustic; the paella was however average in comparison to other restaurants in the city. It is also a shame, that it evenings in all restaurants Paella only for at least two people, although this is very often ordered). A bit further away there is also the large hotel (Read Almeras). Solely the NEPTUNO and the Las Almeras you could without any problems book on the Internet. The modern port, Metro, forecourt and promenade are as follows, as, if everything extra for the cup built was. It is located on the port on a terrace also several bars and restaurants for too many young people, where evenings also regularly disco or salsamusic Open air music. While having the windows closed (Mosquitoes!) but that was only weak noticeable. A huge disco on a rooftop around the corner at our time torn down. Options for shopping nearby we didn't see, but the Metro for example 20 minutes to the station in Colon right in the middle of the city. In Valencia, there is in the meantime at lots of places LendingbicycleStations. Supermarkets or other shops in the hotel area./ / check out: back to Alicante we are the coastal road (N 332 about 3 hours) risks, often right next to the toll highway. A stopover in DENIA( small Castle and beautiful fish restaurants at the port) or Xabia is very recommendable. The coast is in the most other places with many high rise buildings concreted over. At least new modern beach promenade in Benidorm (= mainland-ballermann) has however really hard given. At the airport it is on the accommodating (West) a reservations gas station, but (aware?) is not signposted. So not directly to the airport drive, but on the highway just past towards Alicante and next opportunity to pack up and leave. The airport in Alicante is quite modern and offering a clear view. The rental car in a parking garage next to the passenger terminal.
