Rustic-style kept hotel, simply, clean and tidy. The big plus is the excellent location, with view of Maria-help church. The auer church jamboree, as well as the beautiful old-munich's au district are right on the doorstep, by bus in a few minutes, you are at marienplatz square.
The hotel is in good condition, larger parts seem in younger time to be renovated, the lift for example was 2010 on the current state of technology brought.
As the number of stars already expresses, surely no luxury hotel, but for those just looking for a reasonable room for a reasonable price searches ..., finds it here. read more

The whole hotel has a worn impression. The carpets were old and musty, the curtains were dirty and smelled of smoke, although it was a non-smoking room was. The corridor has extremely smelled of smoke. The bathroom was very dirty. The toilet we not cleaned! Especially was the toilet seat totally ruined and obviously more for several weeks not cleaned. Also a letter of complaint at the front desk helped only conditionally. The shower and fußbodenränder had dark spots (probably mold) a more detailed investigation we spared outself! read more

We were too hot time in Munich. There the room under the roof was, it was also in the evening very hot. Unfortunately was therefore a sleep hardly possible. If the window was open, was because of the enormous noise from the street not to be thought of sleep. It was closed, was because of the heat not to sleep. On the other side blasting the beer garden until 24:00 o'clock top. The bed was at the border torn, the feathers from the leaky pillows in the 3 days not the carpet vacuumed. On the couch were stains.
Advantage: ... centrally located, 20 minutes on foot marienplatz, 10 minutes to the Deutschen Museum. read more

We are a four-person family. Our kids are 5 and 2. because of a family celebration required we stay in München Au-Haidhausen for 2 nights. We were looking for a triple room with the additional possibility a travel cot to please. Otherwise required we for two further adults for the 2. night a double room. The hotel made us a fair offer, the reservation was smooth and without complications.
Unfortunately was our stay a bit chaotic. The hotel was overbooked and so we were in an apartment on the attic storey of the hotel transferred. In the complete apartment there ... is no protection from the sun at the windows and skylights, no's surroundings. We had 27 degrees in the apartment and before dark (about 22 hours) was for the kids not to sleep. The skylights were covered with tape fixed and in the kitchen was the dishwasher not functional. The majority on glasses and mugs was in the dishwasher and not gespült. In our bedroom has otherwise the 3. bed missing. We used therefore also the 2. bedroom and asked on the next day still time for the 3. bed for our room and the bedlinen in 2. Doppelzimmer. The 3. bed we got it. The bed sheets was only partly done and so my brother-in-law with his girlfriend in a partly of us already use bed sleep. To end on a good note when the bill still too much will be charged. Nevertheless, we have all at the front desk addressed, the women and men were extremely friendly and tried hard. What they change could, was immediately taken care of. The breakfast was hearty and very tasty. We hope simply, that a concatenation unfortunate circumstances and be our next stay again try. read more

The hotel is located near the various museums and also close to public transport (bus).
Tip: if a parking spot is required - it is worth contacting the hotel and reserving a parking spot. We were happy to have the car under cover and get into a cool car on our departure day.
The staff that we met spoke English, were present when needed, and were helpful with advice.
The room was very tidy and clean. The room size was a bit small but sufficient for our short stay in a busy city. The room and bathroom contained all items ... that we needed to make our stay in Munich very pleasant. Our room was facing partly the main street - despite this and open windows - it was a quiet room and we had no problems speeping.
The breakfast had a good choice of food. On the days when we were there - the hotel was quite full and the breakfast choice and service a bit overburdened. However, they replenished food supplies when asked and were friendly all the way. read more

Golden leaf is situated on a busy street with bus connection at the center. Also on foot you are in about 20 minutes marienplatz. Directly at the hotel borders the 'small Schmausefalle' at in which you very good food and drinks (counts but not in dining ). In the summer invites a matching beer garden to the stay a. Since it is unfortunately bad weather there, one could not outside sit and I could therefore also no disturbance through noise in the room see. The room is by the size reasonable.
For 12. - euro there is a breakfast. The ... price this is too high. The breakfast room is way too dark and the selection not very large (or it was so dark that I didn't seen ).
Here could a lot improve and the beautiful wood furnishing more in leaderless.
In short: was booked the hotel, since all Motel One in the area were fully booked. Through the 'small Schmausefalle' there really very good food and the hotel could have been much more potential, which is currently not used. read more

We were there as a group. The rooms are not overly large, but very clean. The staff was very friendly. To the city center (isartor) just ten minutes footpath. If you are in the night noise is easy to get to from feels disturbed, you should book a room facing the courtyard.HCLFHLAll in all, is the price/performance ratio very good.HCLFHLHCLFHLThere is also a very cosy Bavarian restaurant with beer garden, but does not belong to the hotel-also highly recommendable. read more
