This is a luxury hotel? Leaky shower stall, no capacity in the room, there the beds very long. Everything red, unsteady tiles, the black hall and the whole hotel like the tomb, unfriendly staff for breakfast / only women; ironic views, if one wanted to order something! / Rome for us is a big disappointment: very much noise, no matter wether the traffic lights red, orange or green, all drive at once and the pedestrians not go through with zebra crossing; all want to tourists money; cheeky and eindringlige Pakistanen with cheap towels and chains on the street, the sale; ... in the cafes noise, air conditioning, loud conversation, TV and instead of 3 Euro for 1 Srndwitsch you pay at the table 5 Euro and for a small bottle of mineral water 3,50 Euro! Shuttle bus Bus_fahrer phone, spoke with the gentlemen during the journey, and ongoing music in addition; have almost had an accident; also Air Berlin drives with old machines, has 1 technical mistake, was almost forced landing! read more

Fine hotel with great location in the heart of Rome... However parking is a problem as bad reachable and in a Zona limtato Traffico located... If you by plane or train travels is in good hands here.
The roof terrace is great, the view of Rome a dream... read more

For a five-star the condition is pathetic. If you want to sell any design, you must maintain! Chipped tiles and shaking fixtures didn't work at all! Furthermore, you can expect from the front desk, that on a complaint at least reacted and you don't have to ask twice. We didn't, the location of the hotel is great.! read more

Hotel in very good location, very Central. Most sights are within walking distance, otherwise there was also very good traffic connections (metro/bus).
We had a junior suite. A room on the second floor, bathroom with bathtub, large bed. Normal double bed rooms are equipped and some have got worse no windows.
Unfortunately no German tv stations, only CNN in English.
The breakfast was not more than okay.
The hotel staff was very friendly and tried very hard.
All in all a great hotel for a city trip, but not cheap. read more

The hotel is very centrally located, not cheap, but you don't expect that. Personell very well staffed. Friendly and helpful without ulterior motives, private shuttle service to the airport. The best but the restaurant is on the roof terrace on the ninth floor, where, for Italian standards, very lush breakfast buffet was set up (25 €per person).
Therefor but with a view to the Peter cathedral. read more

As frequently implemented, the hotel is definitely no 5 stars hotel. The house is not on the newest conditions, the courses is narrowly, entrance hall very small, everywhere little place. The service is rather badly, although the coworkers are partly very nice and endeavored, but often overtaxed. The claim of quality is rather 3 stars. for example one of two elevators was broken during our entire four-day stay. Partly people with luggage have 10min waited… We had a suite, which was very beautiful and modern equipped. Surely over 50qm, with Whirlpool, private Fitnessraum (run volume, Fahrradergometer), even with small sauna ... (max. 2 person.), and min solarium… The price for this was also moderate with about 500 EUR for Rome. Also here again typical lack of “Design hotels” however all painable little things. The only real problem was those extremely reads and not effective air conditioning system. In the October of halfway OK ONE, although the room was unpleasantly warm nevertheless, in the summer however an absolute NO-Go. The area, is very beautiful, Kolosseum & CO. In run width, which isolates road loud, but the rooms well. Of Al result I can recommend the hotel for all, which attach importance to modern room equipment at to some extent moderate prices. Who looks for the comfort, service and the flair of a 5-Sterne hotel, here in any case will be disappointed. read more

We arrived at 11. 30 and were immediately sent room ERT from 14 o'clock-I had five days before our arrival time specified by email, and this was with zugeichert, that we got our room already in the morning. So we then again in the hotel were 17 o'clock, met us stroke at the sight of our room. A room without! Windows inboard. The bathroom deep moldy. When we complained, was lack of understanding in the eyes of the mediocre to see. No other room for four nights, sorry. 2-3 stars when I would have expected more but not in the ... standard described, it was very disappointing, since we have spent EUR 800 four next including breakfast, clearly in favor of Rome but not so expensive. A window and a decent bathroom I would have expected.
The location of the hotel is very good, everything in good walking distance to reach, bus stops right in front of the door, tube minutes away.
The breakfast was okay.
The elevators were an impertinence, I ran into the sixth floor.
Friends of ours stayed at the exedra, asked for a room on the ground to be patient and get 230, in the absence of any load. I would recommend anyway in the low season. Three years ago we stayed in the Excelsior-very nice but it is reasonably priced at 350 Euros a night, so not comparable, but rather only two days of four days in the hole ☺
Also a trip on the old via Apia, simply dream nice, a bit out of the way, but with the bus and U-Bahn easy to reach.
a real highlight to the classic furnishing of Rome and an afternoon and/or evening in Harry's bar our favorite place, a bit pricey, but the ambiance and the people there were worth every euro!
With great pleasure always again and again Rome, but never again la griffe.
PS the roof terrace is also only good, the view was not great. read more

Nice hotel, unfortunately to small rooms (for 5 nights well enough) - extreme problems with hot and coldly fluctuations in the shower - after daily complaint reduction on the dinner in the restaurant! ?! (50%). The breakfast is in the cellar - roof terrace only in the evening in enterprise. Resaurant at the roof is not recommendable there very expensive and not excessive much offer. Amusing atmosphere - no cosiness - approximately around the hotel gives it to sufficient restaurants those better, more cheaply and cosier is. Offered fetching service of/to the airport was 1A read more
