The Chateau Frontenac is a impressive building, the old Quebec is. The location is breathtaking, but so the hotel is also very crowded. Many tourists visit the impressive lobby.
We have good experiences made: the staff efficient and very friendly, especially in the club area. The Reichstag offers lots of small facilities almost around the clock. The rooms are fine. Our room had a great view right on the ST.-Lorenz and the Ile d' Orleans.
The hotel is ideally located, to the wonderful old town from Quebec to look at, which in Quebec very good also on foot is ... possible.
We are very much looking forward to go back ( even if it not very cheap is.). read more

The Fairmont group should be aware, that you in the future not only on a geschichtsträtiges house as a concept.
Services are very small. You can take the cart before, you have to use the concierge to make the car in the hotel garage is expensive. The bags have unloaded and transported in the hotel.
Days for tourist in large groups and move through the hotel lobby with children during the day and in the corners.
This applies not only to the hotel in Quebec, but also for various other Fairmont hotels worldwide read more

It was our silver wedding, we wanted to celebrate in Quebec. The ambience of the hotel had us by previous travels. Unfortunately the room was not very large. It also had a huge water stain on above one of the windows, that disturbed me a lot. The plaster elsewhere much of the ceiling... In a five-star hotel shameful. Despite the negatives a worthwhile visit. read more

the Chateau Frontenac is one of the best hotels, I have visited. Our suite in 16. Floor had a very good view. The atmosphere when you enter the hotel is impressive. The excecutive lounge was very good, however alcoholic beverages different just like many other hotels also from 17-19 hours to be paid. Around the hotel are countless restaurants and bars. Quebec Ville is definitely worth a visit and you'll forget, that you're in North America. The parking with about 30 CAD is not a bargain read more

The hotel has an elegant impression from the outside, but as a guest you enter the lobby has it looks more like in an American amusement park to have gotten schaulustigen, thousands of tourists who bother you as a guest; international guest structure. read more

Room and bathroom was dirty (dust in the rooms; in the bathroom was filthy) and remained dirty during the 4 days. Breakfast expensive and no choice and poor quality. Waiters bracht dirty dishes and WARD until the award not see the bill. And the for € 200.00 a night - never again. The house lives up to its reputation and of service and quality a 1 star property. Paid Hausführungen for tourists and that in a 5 star hotel!!! read more

Right in the heart of the old city, is always right in the middle of everything - as is the epicenter of the tourist interest in Quebec city. It also leads to numerous visitors of the hotel, the distinct mark of the city - one knew that is appropriate setting with no problem. Very accomodating the guest service: on e-mail-request was our standard double room free on a studio in Attics with 55QM upgraded - plenty of space for our small family. Check-in and check-out were also easy, fast and very friendly. Studio and bathrooms were well equipped, like I ... said very large and without any complaint. catering we only breakfast (plentiful but comparatively expensive and in cool ambience) and room service (average quality, but very quickly) joined in. The shopping area in the hotel is absolutely for Obtaining souvenirs or small Stimmungsaufhellern suitable for the kids. When you are aware that the public areas of this hotel are like overcrowded. perfect base from which to explore the city, it is absolutely and is in many areas the own requirements. Tip: carriage bookable directly in front of the hotel, and in any case recommended. You should be within the hotel restaurant recommendations, there are some big RIVETS in the area (for example. La petite Italie - our opinion the worst restaurant we visited in the last few years). read more
