The hotel general made a great impression. The complex is very neat and in great condition. Wireless internet was for 40$ (35€) the week on the whole area, unfortunately, there were several times failure, the days but were credited. The guests were mainly canadians, but also french, german, americans and guests from Chile. From the age structure very mixed. From families up to young people, which want to really make party. For older people probably not really suitable. read more

    The rooms are beautiful. Very modern and bright colors, flatscreen tv, large beds. The only what bothered us a bit was the 'open' toilet, only a glass door and above almost was open. Also the room was of the toilet very small. Larger/heavier people really a problem it had.

    The best in the hotel was the ' pizza bar ' ☺ there was from 12:00 a. m. until 07:00 in the morning hours a variety of pizza varieties, which were really delicious. Furthermore, there was a main restaurant the front desk, other restaurant could for evenings are reserved, as for example the beach bar. The quality the food was average, typical of hotels.

    The employees the nettestens staff i have ever met. Always cheerful, laughing, singing, at dancing. We never had to wait a long time for beverages, were always asked, whether everything ok is. Not many spoke german, but english almost all. The cleaning lady came with us unfortunately always quite late in the day, often if we from the beach returned it was still not there, gave us but nevertheless always fresh towels.

    The entertainment in the hotel was perfect. At the entertainment pool and at the beach from 10 to 12 hours and 15-17/18 o'clock gave it daily funny games with the entertainment & dominican music. In the afternoon also found often dance classes. Furthermore, once a huge carnival-celebration in the hotel organized. All entertainers and dancers came disguised and made carnival dances. The was perfect. Around 8:30 p. m. there was always the mini disco in the theatre, then on the stage, together with the dancers of the hotel dancing. Followed by either funny shows of the activity or the stunning dance shows of dancers. Both was perfect, unfortunately the tanzshows of the dancers during the 2 weeks often repeated. The topic of beach chairs at the beach and at the pool is as in every other hotel also. Reserve is actually forbidden, is also in each sign, but for a nice place, must one evenly early and the towels lay down. At the beach there are many palm trees to make shade represent, these are especially quick 'way '. Against 10/11 hours had often no chance more.

    The hotel is only 20 minutes away from airport. From the 'environment' i was a little disappointed. From the hotel out is the disco, a large café, a few small shops. But nothing more. The road along only apartments. I do not know, how long the next 'shopping street' or restaurant, clubs, bars have taken now. The hotel disco was however well visited, is also open by not hotel guests.

The complex consists of 2 hauptkomplexen. In the front part (village and ocean) are several three-story buildings in a well-kept grounds, which also has a pond with ducks and egrets is. 2 pools (one of it with pool bar ), the two large buffet-style restaurant, and a pizzeria, the the best pizzas which we have ever eaten at. In the middle the hotel is the front desk. In the rear area there were the villas (small bungalows). Also beautifully designed with big pool. The rooms in two complex newly renovated, spacious with flat screen tv. Extra toilet, quite new and ... very clean, really pleasant. Air conditioning, the however only runs, if you in the room is (was with the key card to the mains electricity ), is however absolutely okay. From the crowd spanischsprechendes guests, some dutch, a few english speaking, as well as german. Very pleasant atmosphere, no noise, no bellow, but for relaxing. read more

    The rooms were spacious and modern. Nice colour schemes and tasteful lighting. Every room is equipped with 2 wide beds (much easier on a bad back). On the wall there was a new flat screen tv. In our room it was pleasantly quiet, no noise, no noise, nothing from the neighbors. The bathroom and the toilets were new and clean. Our connectors did not work in the outlets, this is not not a problem, for 2 Dollar you get in the hotel adapter, this one needs from home not at all take. In the room there is a small coffee maker, always with a demand stocked. Also, there is a small refrigerator, the however only with sufficient water bottles filled, so no beer or soft drinks.     In the hotel there are 2 main buffet-restaurant, located in the village/ocean area. The front at the ocean area is completely open with view into nature, we like so much, that we only still there are. The selection was large, there was something for everyone. Very delicious in the morning was the freshly squeezed fruit juices, several kinds of fruit must be reduced. Also were fresh eggs in all variations to your personal desire is prepared. Also evenings there was meat and fish freshly prepared according to desire, really recommendable especially the Paella and our last day the gergrillten prawns. If you didn't get full here, would be in Germany long hungry. In addition there was in the hotel in the rear villas area 3 speciality restaurants and a huge open coffeehouse with comfortable armchairs. Really recommendable is the japanese and caribbean restaurant, there are à la carte and we were all pleasantly surprised. The staff in all of the restaurants, as well as buffet are all very hard and attentive. Food and drink as in cockaigne. If you what to moan has, could probably not what. Even at the beach was daily from 12:00 a. m. a buffet set up with warm dishes, salad and dessert buffet. So you could daily at the beach cozy 4-tables with a view of the sea to take it easy.     The employees are all nice and friendly, very helpful, attentive, you can hardly put the glass empty, after further asked. The whole staff is trained in foreign languages. At the front desk there were also an employee, the spoke german very well. I think, the waiters and waitresses have a few Dollar tip earned in any case. The cleaning of the rooms was so far alright, unfortunately it was not with the fresh towels. These were often very late brought, so that we often didn't have any, when we from the beach returned.

    The hotel is located next to the Barcelo resort, and we must say, that we really the better one had. There had we not comfortable. To the right of the beach are located directly in front of the bars, in which one can buy all possible (try to bargain in every case! If 30 Dollar requires we, not more than 10 are charged). Excursion possibilities are massively offered, the best over the tour operator bay, all trips are however extremely tourist oriented town, if you want to party, there is a great service. If you want it quiet and informative, you have to search, there are but also some nice excursions (snorkeling...). The vacationers, the village/ocean booked, are clearly closer at the beach. The villas range of walking since already tidy. We were in the front range and had more than 100 meters to the beach. The beach area was clean, it was enough sunbeds and palm trees.

In the area of the villas very nice hotel with lots of green, in the remaining rather unimaginative. Beach very nice, also pool area quite attractive, if you could stop. There are clear too few chairs available, the furthermore in the pool area also still sideways (!) Are, other places to sit are also more than rare. It cannot be, that the guests on the stone floor are at the beach- on sand-like the still acceptable, altogether but a considerable quality defect: my estimate after missing at least more than 200 loungers, the situation reasonably tolerable. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are not worn. The loud music at the pool area and at the beach is really beautiful annoying. If you're looking for relaxation is at the main pool and many areas at the beach in the wrong place. Here is the whole day cramped with very loud entertainment. The food is really really good, the a la carte restaurants however, they are not really interesting, reminded rather of kinderkochen. Our summary is, a nice facility with weaknesses and little caribbean. We won't be back. read more

International guests from all over the world, and the flodders, they were in their eyes the best! 3 families with 2 children.     They are all very friendly, but by the variety of the guests unfortunately no time for a short chat. We had with all communicate. On the first day leaked our air conditioning, they immediately addressed, short time later asked the front desk after, if everything is ok.

    We had a quiet bungalow in advance by mail order, and got it! Thank you! With a small train is fast one at the front desk, besides speiseknast, and at the beach. For party holiday perfect. Cheerful and mostly friendly staff. Excursion possibilities for surcharges well offered (buggy tour recommendable!). Food average but around the hour (at night as well around 3 burgers and pizza). No bugs! (very laudable for tropical countries). Beach caribbean lovely. Unfortunately somewhat with seagrass. The hotel is located not far from the airport away (20 minutes). We were 2 weeks in Punta Cana ( 15-11-2012 until 29-11-2012). The weather was daily up to 30 degrees during the day, in the evening up to 26 degrees. On some nights it rained strongly, but and not at all was bad, even was pleasant. The food was good and 4 other theme restaurants you had a versatile choice. The lunch in buffet form liked and at the beach best. The friendliness of the staff was perfect. The beach was a dream. It was not directly at the ... beach, some-minute walk to go (or lift with a mini shuttle bus). I do think, however, that some exaggerate the my, that 30 minutes hike is. We are always on foot and by the nice hotel and the 'palmenwald' you had a very nice view. A little go hurt not. The villas were in the back part, the a very peaceful area had. The complex was very tidy. The pools i can't rate, since i always at the beach was. We had hardly animation at the beach, which makes it quite quiet. The motor boats didn't really bother us, from time to time is once a partyboot with loud Music long raced is, which however not was disturbing. If you really peace searches is Punta Cana perhaps not really recommendable, as many americans are also very gladly times to Punta Cana fly to party. But there are certainly quieter and more expensive hotels, where these are probably different. - beautiful weather (27-30 degrees) - staff are very friendly - to the children very nice, but care the kindergarten was bad, just as was unfriendliest and lustloseste employee in the whole hotel, from the reason we have our son there never alone left. - cleanliness the hotel very good - the food wasn't just how we like it, but it wasn't bad. The variety of the dishes was good. - fantastic beach with really fine sand - outside the hotel there are only two shopping center nearby - excursions there is fully many, but they are all very expensive ... ( from 80 Euro per person) - we flew with condor, with small child (under 2 years) not too recommend, because no sonderplätze (where it small bettchen hung up can) for mother with a child there is. Airplane is always full. As the infants no private spot, you get no food! The trip really impressed us only the flight i as negative. read more

I found the vacation very good, because you really never boredom got. If you are not at the beach or in the pool there is a café and just chill out and have a drink. The deals were on location good and varied. The people the a for example massages or similar anbeiten are often very pushy and annoying. If you from the section of the beach away from the hotel is a however everything possible offered. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Also liked a great deal uS in our area the hotel chickens and peacocks freely around ... leifen. The full and overall it was a lovely vacation and the hotel is really recommendable. read more

We were at the end of october until early november this year and truthfully somewhat more expects from the hotel. The bungalows in the villasgebiet are very far from the beach, one must about 25 minutes walk. The concerns of the guests are at the front desk fast and unfriendly handled. The whole entertainment program during the day were always only a couple small games, in the evening the shows were nevertheless very good. All in all it was a nice, relaxing holiday. read more

Very extensive, clean and well-kept complex with mostly young audience. The only downside for the very loud evening entertainment, as our room directly at the Teatro was. Otherwise the stands, the two times a week for the front desk be established, and the regular evening 3-man -band in the dining room somewhat annoying. The first impression the room was because of the somewhat neglected cleanliness and the outdated furniture rather bad. Otherwise we had insects in the room, we could this but without an extra charge in a room a better category einwechseln. The hotel grounds made the first bad impression more than made up for it. The buffet food offered a large selection of different dishes and the a la carte restaurants ( japanese, Mexican, Italian, Caribbean) present food of a high standard. General rule in this hotel unfortunately the negative impressions. The little positive justify simply not the price you will have to pay. But times from the start. For about 1500€ per person. We booked all-inclusive for 10 days in a bungalow (no. 1027 the jacuzzi pools). On the first glance made this a pretty good and nationaltypical impression. Three days and two nights later however the disillusionment! The toilet flush only worked when it wanted, the shower there was only cold water price and these also only if one the shower not higher than 1.50 metres kept. So duck ... and teeth bite was announced. The safe was very took some getting used to and totally out of date, annoying if you almost 5 minutes needed to this-or worms, because everything stuck. Apropos terminals, the front door to the bungalow was one or another time not open. After daily, partly repeated complaint was the whole sorry and, finally, we did not want to the rest of the vacation these annoyances stop. So we booked the upgrade to a room in the village. Because of the whole events could you actually expect this free-no chance. Only 2$ per day and person, one, so 96 $for 8 days. The it was us but well worth it, since the new room around classes better was. New, comfortable, spacious and see there, everything worked.     General rule in this hotel unfortunately the negative impressions. The little positive justify simply not the price you will have to pay. But times from the start... For about 1500€ per person. We booked all-inclusive for 10 days in a bungalow (no. 1027 the jacuzzi pools). On the first glance made this a pretty good and nationaltypical impression. Three days and two nights later however the disillusionment! The toilet flush only worked when it wanted, the shower there was only cold water price and these also only if one the shower not higher than 1.50 metres kept. So duck and teeth bite was announced. The safe was very took some getting used to and totally out of date, annoying if you almost 5 minutes needed to this-or worms, because everything stuck. Apropos terminals, the front door to the bungalow was one or another time not open. After daily, partly repeated complaint was the whole sorry and, finally, we did not want to the rest of the vacation these annoyances stop. So we booked the upgrade to a room in the village. Because of the whole events could you actually expect this free-no chance. Only 2$ per day and person, one, so 96 $for 8 days. The it was us but well worth it, since the new room around classes better was. New, comfortable, spacious and see there, everything worked. The location direct at the main pool was perfect as you from here short ways to the main restaurant with buffet, to pikalo snack bar, as well as to the beach had. So we were also with the food. Only recommendable is the pikalo snack bar, here there is really delicious pizza's, burgers and chicken mcnuggets (this however only the first 3 days our holiday).
