I use the hotel always for short stays in my hometown. Close proximity to train station permitted a very late arrival and very early departure. One is in 5 minutes to the main station and saves this much time.
The size of the room is totally sufficient, you have everything you need. The bathroom is also large enough. The cleanliness is very much emphasized, i never had something to complain about. It is just a real feel-good atmosphere in this hotel. Furthermore the staff is very accommodating and pleasant.
The shops are in the immediate vicinity and also restaurants you ... will find enough in the city centre. Very convenient is the ticket for the local transport in the city Dresden, it free of charge to.
I will definitely come gladly again! read more

City Hotel right at the train station. Within walking distance, everything walking distance! So the ideal hotel for a city trip. Everything new and modern! Staff very pleasant, after complaint of the rauchgeruchs in the nr rooms directly a new room received. They give you a free public transport ticket at the check-in. Because we passing through were and only one night in the hotel spent there, tickets were not used. Yet maybe for one or another worth mentioning! Room with a small flat-screen tv, minibar, without a balcony. Bathroom was fairly small, but new and modern. Breakfast sufficient (nothing ... special), but actually everything you need is available. Provides nothing to moan about! Pleasant staff!
Tip for 'with the those arriving by car' the gps the ammonstraße typing (signs garage wiener platz). Costs for 24 hours 10,00 Euro. You can't complain! Easy then directly to the hotel (entrance signposted). read more

Directly opposite from the main train station, yet very quiet.
Very pleasant and super fast check-in/check-out, very pleasant and courteous staff! Room card is also fahrtausweis for all public transportation, also elbfähre. For those who prefer on foot to go would like, is about minutes at the semper opera or the Church of Our Lady.
Room size rather small, but absolutely sufficient for 2/3 nights, good, modern facilities. Bathroom also fine, clean, good modern facilities. In the room small flat screen tv, minibar, safe.
Breakfast sufficient and good, if something was missing was ... immediately refilled.
We ate once in the restaurant to evening eaten, us nothing special tasty, but you can in the best way in the town, good and reasonably priced reasonable, eat out.

We stayed for a extended weekend at the end of november in Dresden. The hotel is tastefully decorated and clean. The staff were always of assistance, friendly and competent. Only the restaurant staff was apparently totally overwhelmed, although here only a few guests were present.
Altogether however the stay was very pleasant and we would definitely recommend this hotel. You could eat didn' someplace else.
Would be nice, if wi-fi in the room free would be. But to ask for money is, in my opinion, not anymore. read more

You go from the train station only across the street, you're in the hotel. In the transaction were the public transportation included. The tram stop 8 and 9 to the center are maximum in 5 minutes reachable.
The rooms were very clean and quiet, the windows are soundproofed. We had our room directly opposite the lift, but we heard nothing. The breakfast in buffet-Form left nothing to be desired. Everything was fresh and appetizing arranged and it was always refilled and the tables cleared immediately. Safe and mini bar in the room available. My girlfriend from the USA has however ... a hot water -device to the coffee-Make missed.
The reception staff were friendly and competent. When we evenings after 20 o'clock from a day's journey to Prag to the hotel arrived, were in the small restaurant still warm dishes. The Waitress was very friendly and fast. I travel a lot and can with my girlfriend say, everything fit. We will be back. read more

Very positive the hotel I can because of the location nearby the Dresden main station respectively near Haupteinkaufspassage. Directly in front of the hotel are several trams and buses, which in every direction of the city lead. Directly next to the hotel, there is a larger Chinese restaurant, for a because of the food, to the other because of the services really recommendable is. Apart from that you will find within walking distance so rather all gastronomic directions.
The main shopping street (Prague street) you also reached in a few minutes walk. Except for one supermarket there are probably nearly ... all known Brands and undertake represented.
Brilliant at this House of Commons, the in the remaining the German hotel group Steigenberger belongs, the free ticket for the public transport. Tip: I already before arrival in Dresden send and thus the money for S-Bahn to the airport saved. With the ticket you can all means of transport of the public transport in Dresden from the arrival day until the day of departure free of charge. You just have to be careful, as the trams also Dresden with for instance Radebeul connect. Probably is the ticket not more. Since the town, but not so big, you can also much on foot to explore. nWer with the S-Bahn to the airport should, with a journey time of approximately 20 to 25 minutes be prepared. The S-Bahn drives every 30 minutes. The airport itself is quite clear, one could quickly get one's bearings.
General is me in my 2. visit in Dresden noticed, that Dresdner itself very accommodating, friendly and courtesy. This was also hotel reception so. The check in was very smooth and I was informed in detail and received on my a detailed answer. Although I would have liked on arrival at 09:30 o'clock early morning the room be able to refer, for me cleaned up, but I was not expecting it.
The gastronomy I cannot judge, I did not use it. In the field of leisure activities clear a negative review upmarket, since simply no activities was available.
The rooms were okay, no highlight, but clean, modern and technically standardly furnished. The tv was a bit small, the mini bar free of charge, air conditioning and hair dryer were available ( safe I did not see any). I had room number 107 with a view of a street. However it was really extremely quiet there, from traffic noise no trace. The overpriced internet ( Wi-Fi) but it must not be really like that. This should in a hotel this class standard belong, therefore I stayed here also a devaluation made. With 76,50 Euro for my single room without breakfast finally, I can say, that the price absolutely fair and was adequate. However the 18, -€ extra charge for breakfast are then again not comprehensible. read more

We were with a large group (43 persons) of saturday on sunday in this hotel. The hotel has approximately 160 rooms. It has a private restaurant, a bar and several meeting rooms. We had a overnight stay with breakfast booked. The guests were mixed ages and I imagine could mostly German. read more

New hotel with excellent value for money
I traveled with the S-Bahn from the airport at (30 minutes, 2 Euro) in the morning and got right a room to the rest. A stone's throw away is the main station ( with tram service to hakecher Hof to all sights), as well as the shopping mile Prague street away.
The Twist: for and day of departure you get a day ticket for all transport in the greater Dresden. I decided for an excursion to the Elbe sandstone mountains on the next day. The S-Bahn drives every 30 minutes and after a ... wonderful drive is already in a tight 3/4-hour in the spa resorts wehlen respectively Rathen ( place to go out to the hike to Bastei). Extra charge on the day pass again 8 Euro for a day ticket in the association of transport companies Bad Schandau/ Pilnitz (so is the ferry in the spa town of wehlen included). read more
