The hoxton hotel is a stylish, new hotel in the north-east of london centre. On the Northern line (old street station) very good condition with the tube to reach. Furthermore, numerous drive bus line nearby the hotel, for example, 55, the oxford stresses runs up and down. The hotel from the outside is rather inconspicuous impression, but the inside is very chic. It is located in a very lively evening entertainment area at the moment, so that at the weekends in the lounge and bar very busy and very loud music playing. You can hear the room nothing, at least ..., if you live in the fourth floor. Good to hear the loud street in front of the hotel, if you-as we were-at the front of the hotel resides. A room facing the courtyard is therefore clear better Election. In addition, we could hear our neighbors very clearly and understand the spoken words 1:1, even though it wasn't't very noisy. The soundproofing is not particularly good, though this may be because, that these two rooms were connecting doors. They are then but the negatives of the hotel, if you don't mind the missing bathtub. The rooms are very modern and successful equipped, go somewhere else such as a design by. There is tv, safe, coffee and tea making facilities, free internet (with internet access, cable or wireless or big macs downstairs in the lobby), 1 liter of water/day and 500 millilitre free milk Per day free. The breakfast was described already and consists of 500 millilitre fresh orange juice, a banana and a yogurt, the morning as requested on the door was extremely impressive. This is not a great breakfast, but you knew that beforehand, what you're getting into. You can eat otherwise also in hoxton cricket, which is located on the ground floor and offers to london prices some grill specialties. Not a gourmet restaurant, but the quality was in order. Aveda bath products, with your homepage advertised to be provided (and every day free of charge in the bathroom), we have never seen anything like it. It was probably used to be. Sunday. A Shame. All in all it was a discovery and an above-average hotel, the you can recommend. We paid with about three months advance booking and payment in euro/111 night. read more

Hoxton, always worth a trip, if you are one of the coolest and stylish hotel in London's oldstreet wish only to, you will not disappointed. The building is for London proportions very modern and very stylish. There is excellent food the grill appropriate prices. The rooms are very comfortable and large enough. Good they are to inner courtyard now, if one celebrates. There is anytime again Billigaktionen, in which a night to 1a 10 pound to get. Here but you need luck and patience. All together a very recommendable hotel. Only Disadvantage, longer U-train trip with the rather unwieldy black ... Line and other way in the city for shopping. We found however, Hoxton was always worth a trip read more

Medium-sized (205 rooms), design-conscious hotel Eastend. Interesting mix of luxury, design and budget hotel that made me a bit to the motel One chain reminds. The Hoxton Designates itself flapsig as "the no bullshit hotel". In some ways you 'The Hoxton' actually other channels than the competition. For example. On the homepage other hotels and restaurants in the surrounding areas, or you found on a card in the bathroom the NOTE that the hotel 25 pence per beach towel saves you not have to wash. Room with Wohlfühlcharakter. Dark colors, noble materials, funky details. Nice bathroom with glass shower. Air conditioning, minibar, coffee/tea makers, safe, telephone available. Flat screen TV on came in handy to the comfortable TV in bed. Windows't tip them anymore.

There is a small Frühstückchen (consisting of yoghurt, orange juice and banana), the the sandwich chain Pret-A-manager provides. Background information: The hotel is owned by sinclair Beecham, the co-founder of Pret-A-Manger. In addition, you could have your breakfast in the restaurant, where it for example. A full English Breakfast at 10 pound. The restaurant "Hoxton Grill" we didn't test it. It is appears to be a very popular venue. At night the shop well used and beautiful people while lounging in the comfy sofas by the fire in the lobby. At the front desk can enjoy drinks, candy, etc. To be bought very low prices, bottled water and soft drinks around 0.50 pounds.

The location I can comfortably call as good. There is no sites directly in front of us, but the Old Street underground station (Northern Line) within walking distance, as well as a few bus lines, for example. toward Oxford Circus or king's Cross. The transportation hub Liverpool Street by foot in about 10 minutes. In the immediate hotel area there were a few clubs and pubs, very nice I found the pub "electricity Showroom". The staff are on hand to offer advice. The room also contains a small guide (in the Scheckkartenformat) through the hotel environment, which offers an array of clubs, pubs, restaurants and special stores are recommended.

In the Hoxton you get more for your money! Very cool atmosphere, friendly staff, everything very chic, modern. Ideal for young people, singles and couples. There were also some families with children there. The rooms are beautifully furnished, small but functional. The "continental" breakfast delivered to your door skipped. We are not fans of yoghurt and orange juice for breakfast. It's in the restaurant was porridge, toast and really very good coffee at moderate prices. We have several times in the restaurant in the evening, because we after a day's sightseeing again not wanted to get out. The restaurant offers ... an American steakhouse-Show. Steaks, burgers, Caesar salad, king prawns - all of the highest quality. The rates are high, but are London price level. Not recommended is the house wine! Totally overpriced and uninspiring. Beer preferred to stay. Adjacent is the Spitalfields Market. Comparable to Covent Garden, but without the crowds and cheaper! Cool young designer shops, flea market for Vintage Mode and much more. Next door to the Brick Lane, which include a curry house next to the filled. The choice is huge, and the food was excellent and great value! We will definitely be back. read more

In fact you can hardly say anything negative about the hotel: We are about the "Wallpaper city guide London" has become pointed out and have booked. And who knows London will see that it in this price range hardly any better. Only drawback: We had our room the street side - and the windows are badly lowered, if you are looking for peace is bit wrong here. If you have to be the courtyard room with loud voices would expect in the courtyard, as it a open seating area for the hotel bar/restaurant. Otherwise very well located in the district ... of Shoreditch near subway Old Street ( and by bus 55 is you in about a half hour to Oxford Circus / Soho). Numerous bars, restaurants and fast food outlets nearby. London is great and the Hoxton anyway absolutely recommendable - we love to stay there again! read more

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the station Liverpool Street station. The hotel's decor is very modern and the staff very friendly. Guests have complimentary use of the wireless internet access in the lobby and they have four PC which you could use for free. In the room there is a kettle available including tea bags and coffee pads to Pouring. In the morning, the "lite breakfast" ( yogurt, banana, orange juice) at the requested time on the door. The "Hoxton Grill is also recommendable. The food is delicious and the service was very friendly. We wanted to ... eat Friday evening and had to about 1 hour to wait to be seated. The best you reserved early to get a table. In the entrance Friday evening a DJ. In the surroundings there are many possibilities drinks in the evening. To be recommended was also the restaurant "fifteen" of Jamie Oliver, which is about 10 minutes on foot. You should book early to get a table. read more

The room and the bathroom were relatively small, but very adequate. lockers for the T-shirts we missed in the closet, but otherwise was enough space in the closet for a city break ok. The fridge was in the closet which made for light heat in the closet). The bathroom is dark brown, Stylistic, as well as the furniture in the room. It's still no backstreet-like. Very good, the large counter just around the sink. at a 5 star hotel I have never experienced something like that was a new, large soap and the toilet paper was never seem became less. Everything was very clean. The pillows and the mattresses were very good. We stayed in the beds slept very well. Only drawback, the air conditioning, the crazy drafty. You have left out quickly too warm. The window from cigarette butts, however we heard the noise from the courtyard restaurant, it was a nice after above. We had asked for a room to the inner courtyard, as we'd read that you quieter than those facing the street (Grand Eastern). That's it theoretically as (number 527 ), if not almost continuously, a brummendes sound (from the extractor fan in the courtyard?! ), As one would have been large Schiffsmotor. With ear plugs did work. On 4 Day it dismay. From our neighbors in the corridor we practically didn't notice by noise from.

Only about a 10 minute walk to subway station "Old Street". From there one traveled with the "Northern Line" for all the main tourist attractions. To the Heathrow Airport (approximately 24 stations) with 1 x change you should definitely 1 hour drive calculate tips, if you don't want to take the expensive Heathrow Express. The area has a slightly charm of decaying partly broken, vacant houses and office skyscrapers. Great: The trendy Spitalfields Market on Sunday is in 10 -15 minutes walking very easy to reach.

My business trip brought me into the "The Hoxton". The hotel's decor is very modern and has everything you need for the day-to-day needs. Although the room dark decor are welcome. Great is a water kettle with tea and the coffe choice and fresh milk in the room. The breakfast light is just fine for business travelers who don't have time to extensive breakfast. Freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt and a banana just on the door. 1 Lites mineral water per day is also available free of charge. A there was no mini bar but at the reception, there was ... the drinks at a reasonable price. A small Indian Tesco across the road is cheaper Depending on the country of origin should an hour daily free landline phone in the home. Internet is free. Computers are available in the lobby also free of charge. All an active can work out at the nearby fitness center. Directly in front of the hotel buses to the city, the nearest Tupe is about ten minutes walk away. The room was cleaned every day, the brown bathroom ( 70 we will) is with indirect Beläuchtung very well-lit. Shower gel, shampoo from Aveda. The young team of the hotel makes your stay to enjoy. The food was of value for money a bit too expensive, but it is essenswert I would go back again. London is well worth a visit. read more
