Hotel from the colonial period, very veralter furnished, bathroom in need of renovation (concrete in the shower) door with frosted glass, with a we we could us einheizen, steep path and many steps to the front desk and to the rooms. read more

In this hotel you feel really in the colonial set back. In comparison to rest of the country it is really cool. As is the warm soup, to welcome gets really good. We stayed here for one night during our trip and found the stay very comfortable. Unfortunately, it has on this day rain, but we could the city centre with coray cal and restaurants on foot explore. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and the buffet in the evening was very good. There are also some groups here, of which some people not understand can that the ... show cooking already times 5 minutes until one dish is finished. Here it really worth the evening after mongolian kind cooked pasta or rice to eat, just delicious! The room was huge and nicely equipped. Our summary: this area is great and there was a dip to the other climate, the hotel again and again! read more

We were greeted with a cup of hot soup, which did us very well ☺. The hotel is times which completely different, in the colonial style and it still seemed to be very british, but liked a great deal. The rooms were quite large only the bathroom needs time a renovation. Instead of an air conditioning system there is a heating, because quite cold at night, also otherwise everything you need is there hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel and free safe. For the night we even have a hot-water bottle got, very nice ☺. The eater was delicious and had ... a wide selection. Wi-fi is available in the fireplace room at the free disposal. read more

We stayed during our round trip for one night in the hotel. The hotel has a very nice garden area and the rooms are huge and in the colonial style. It was everything available, merely the bathroom would have once again a renovation necessary, in particular the windows. The restaurant is nicely furnished and the food was very tasty and there was a large selection available. To the front desk we were in the fireplace room with a cup of hot soup welcomes, which we all liked a great deal. read more

For nuwara ELIA together with the Grand Hotel a very good address. We had a room in the upper Etade, wonderful decor and very big.
The prices for dinner are cheap (13 €for buffet), just wine a bit too expensive. We felt very much at ease and were in 5 minutes in the town center, too well situated.
The Grondhotel is twice as expensive ( AGODA!) and we were 10 years ago already there, a little luxury, but in our opinion is the jetwing St. Andrews adequate. read more

A nice surprise!
This hotel had a little style and standard.
The hotel looks like a vintage house in Scotland -)
Old but comfortable and clean.
Rooms are large with a TV, kitchenette and balcony, as well as safe.
Bathroom small but OK.
Restaurant solid, good food.
Good service.
Coffee not drinkable.
A trip on foot in the town an experience! Also evenings without problem feasible.
Annoying was the Muhezzin wake-up call at 5 hours in the morning. read more

The hotel looks very British from. You feel very at ease there. The climate is quite pleasant, evenings and at night it can quite cool. As it is great, if you have a Wärmeflasche under the duvet is surprised!
The best food during our round trip there was in this hotel. read more

our room is large however shabby, very noisy. We do not recommend this hotel. In the recreation and bar everywhere smoking. Annoying is the restaurant, that way too small for all guests, the want to eat. It is not enough space. Moreover, the room didn't comfortable. It is hectic and chaotic. The staff are overburdened. The from us ordered food was cold, the room warm. Unfortunately, there is no alternatives nearby to the meal. On complaint followed no apology. We feel in this hotel not comfortable. Very pity, it ruins the holiday happiness. read more

One was night in St. Andrews as we on a tour were. Hotel in general very nice, had a deluxezimmer, really very large and clean. Bathroom newly remodeled, at the evening a bed bottle, really very great.
only the dinner was very bad, there was fish, was very dry and tasted, as if it had 1 week old. Also the breakfast was opposite other Jetwings hotel was very bad.
Choice wasn't that big, bad presented.
for a night this hotel is good, location great, Sri Lanka a dream. read more
